I've had a very busy 2 days and haven't been able to keep up here as I have been. I skimmed the first few posts and read "body found". I feel absolutely sick right now. I'm going to catch up..

That doesn't mean the FBI isn't. If a crime goes over state lines the FBI will take over from the local LE. Just reading between the lines!

Also the paper noted is our local paper and I read even the local news from them with many grains of salt. A runaway goat or large pumpkin are about their normal fare.

Plus, if you go back and look at the link now, it doesn't say that anymore---it reworded very carefully but the change is that they haven't 100% discarded the idea it is connected.

Based on my knowledge of the paper, I think shoddy reporting that was reworded.

That said, I still don't think the blue car here has anything to do with Jessica.

I hope it is ok that I vent here. Like others, I am so upset about this case.

I believe that anyone who harms a child in ANY way should be put to death. There is no rehabilitation for these people! Children are our most vulnerable and most precious blessing. How do we protect them? We give the predators who rape and kill them a slap on the wrist, label them sex offenders and then send them back into their neighborhoods to live and claim yet another victim. I'll bet anything that if they do catch this monster who killed Jessica, he will have done this before.

I am sick of it! We have "No Tolerance" for foreign terrorists, but treat our homegrown monsters who prey on children like shoplifters. How do we tell our children about this? I am lucky my little girl is only 3, but when she is older I am going to have to explain how unsafe it is for her to even walk to school? I used to love living in Colorado, this has always been my home. Lately I despise it. I know you cannot completely escape crime, but after this case and the movie theater shooting earlier this year - I want to pack up my baby and move far away

I'm only on the top of page three of this thread. So far there's been a lot of talk about the perp being the RSO teacher. I just want to point out that I remember the description under the sketch said 'sandy to brown hair'. That's the thing I don't like about pencil drawings as they make the perp look darker complected than they may be. The teacher looks to be darker than sandy to brown to me. :twocents:
adding ~ or the reverse, one can't tell if the drawing represents a blond haired person.
