Could be, but there's the VIN too.

and the witness taking a look at the picture of the car (the one who saw it in Dexter)

Yeah it sure is! A case of it may come from Amazon. A weight lifter maybe?

The reason I knew the label immediately was because I use it myself. It's a great source of nutrition that you can get down quickly and on the fly (tastes better in some sort of milk, but can be mixed with water). I use it while travelling, in the field, etc.
Had never really thought about it, but it would be great if you're trying to keep a low profile, stay out of restaurants, and move fast, or in hiding. It's shelf stable. It has a high protein count. I will add though that it's not cheap. Oh and it has really tasty flavors that taste like milkshakes.

Could be so off on this tangent, it's just weird.

It looks like there is an afghan in the car, but it might be a reflection. (passenger side of the vehicle)

Ya know what else I do NOT like about this? The reference to DEXTER, Maine.

DEXTER is a very popular show about a serial killer. Seems quite strange to have a N.H./Maine/Colorado connection. That is quite a span of distance.

Makes me even more curious of a much larger child abduction/killing spree going on.

I still can't get past how much Jessica looks like Elizabeth Collins.

I was thinking she looked like Elizabeth too. Can some creep be going around grabbing girls and keeping them for whatever awful purpose until he finds his next victim and then he discards her?

Could they be looking for another body in that field?

Are those oval stickers as popular around you all as they are in Colorado? It's a "been there" sort of sticker. We have RMNP (Rocky Mountain National Park), MV (Mesa Verde), Y (Yellowstone), and GT (Grand Teton).

What park would NR be?

Here in the east they are very popular and are usually vacation spots: OBX for Outer Banks, HH for Hilton Head, CC for Cape Cod. Not sure what NR could mean. Researching it now.

Haha.
SBM: Only cause I have had about 1,000 cups of coffee...

Now I am off to get ready for work. Wish I didn't have to leave...but keep on keeping on good folks!

I'm off to work too! Back later.

There is also a sticker over the brake light...white writing, but I can't make anything out of it.

I saw that too, looks like a college sticker? Can anybody zoom in and read it?

  • #168
Guess-NR=Northern Rockies? Is there a college?

  • #169
and yes, there is a brown box in front of the ON one.

  • #170
Well if it was left at a Wal-Mart, lets hope for some surveillance footage!

I wish my dad was still alive. He was a cop. I could get him to run that plate.

I thought the one sighted was supposed to have the wheel well covers over the back tires?

imo

No, that was the car in the Aravada child enticement case.

You are on the same track as I am more or less. IF there is a connection to this car, then that was where I was going with other MP cases. Either way, either he dumped someone else before he picked her up (and that spot was on his way in perhaps) or it's her and he picked up someone else already that looks like her. Or....

I need to go back to the Maine sighting articles from yesterday, but I thought the car had some kind of fancy wheels? Maybe I'm confused on that, it wouldn't be the first time.

I have followed a lot of missing persons cases, but I'm by no means an expert. Are there any documented cases of an abductor taking a child from one part of the country, then dumping her body and abducting another child from a different part of the country? I just wonder what the true likelihood is that this could be a different child.

ETA: Never mind, the witness saw a Buick with a roof rack and five spoke wheels. Not fancy wheels.

Sgt. Kuffer Kaltenborn said the vehicle was reported to police shortly after 8:30 a.m. Kaltenborn said the vehicle, a light blue Buick station wagon, matches the description of the one suspected in the case out of Colorado.

“We don't know why (the car) is here,” Kaltenborn said.

City police cordoned off a parking lot off Constitution Avenue on the connector road to the Walmart plaza on Lafayette Road.

A K9 unit was called in to investigate both the car and the surrounding area.

Kaltenborn said there is no further information yet that indicates the car is tied to the kidnapping/murder case. The car, which had a Colorado license plate of 195-WIS, was towed from the scene shortly after 10 a.m.

“We are putting the car into evidence and going to reach out to authorities in Colorado to try and figure out how they want us to follow up,” Kaltenborn said.

This new development has my "spree" theory going nuts in my brain. Very interesting.

lightbulb moment - possible or not?

what if the body is the person who owned the car? then the perp takes jessica out of state and thats why she was seen and the car has been dumped?
Oh wow...you may be on to something. That car matches the description of the one seen in Maine perfectly, and it was abandoned for a reason.

I still believe Jessica has been found.

As far as the car goes, who knows;could be someone was committing some other illegal acts and just dumped it.

Hope LE clarifies something soon, as theories are running pretty wild.
