I still believe Jessica has been found.

As far as the car goes, who knows;could be someone was committing some other illegal acts and just dumped it.

Hope LE clarifies something soon, as theories are running pretty wild.

I thought so too, but this woman swore she saw Jessica in it....are there any other new Amber Alerts for similar looking girls?

I am headed out for a bit today...but I will try to check in on my phone. So much breaking down right now. Praying for the case and everyone involved.

Oh wow...you may be on to something. That car matches the description of the one seen in Maine perfectly, and it was abandoned for a reason.

ITA with you on this.

Looking at the Google Maps for the connector road for this Wal-Mart (based on the article posted earlier), the driver used a road that is shrouded in trees, a back parking lot, and a parking lot that had a lot of cover for dumping and running.

Not sure if it's related, or not, but this car didn't show up for no reason at all.

Sure seems like something's off with the car. If it was just a disabled vet innocently sightseeing in New England during the fall, why abandon the car because it was reported?

I can't imagine how agonizing this is for her family. Guessing LE will soon have a positive ID on the body? So terrible.

Okay, an abandoned car has been found in New Hampshire that really seems to match what the witness saw in Maine.

My question now is, does anyone think this car could actually have been used in Jessica's abduction? If the body found yesterday turns out to be Jessica's, then I don't think the girl seen in this vehicle on Sunday afternoon was her.

But if it wasn't Jessica, and this car IS the one seen on Sunday, why would the driver decide to abandon it?:waitasec:

I just don't know what to make of this.

ETA: What scares me is that there are other tween girls missing who could fit Jessica's general description.

If the body was found approx. only 20 ft. off the road, I find it odd they would bring in 100 officers. It makes me wonder if maybe it makes me wonder if they suspect they may find more bodies or it is not Jessica. Shades of a Long Island serial killer area scenario is going through my mind with wild speculation. I also wonder if they might have someone in custody who is starting to talk and maybe LE thought they would have a full confession by this morning, but I think that is just my wishful thinking.

The blue one in the corner is a Freemason sticker. Completely bizarre. NR...let me google

I see nothing bizarre about a car having a mason sticker. Many people in the military are masons and i could list a dozen or more people i personally know who are masons....

usually stickers like NR refer to a location....like when i lived on east coast you often saw OB stickers for "outer banks".....or in cali you se OC for "orange county"....

and yes, the CO plates are for "disabled veteran".....which is not indictive of age either. anyone who is literally a disabled vet (a kid fresh from iraq) can get the plate...

The reason I knew the label immediately was because I use it myself. It's a great source of nutrition that you can get down quickly and on the fly (tastes better in some sort of milk, but can be mixed with water). I use it while travelling, in the field, etc.
Had never really thought about it, but it would be great if you're trying to keep a low profile, stay out of restaurants, and move fast, or in hiding. It's shelf stable. It has a high protein count. I will add though that it's not cheap. Oh and it has really tasty flavors that taste like milkshakes.

Could be so off on this tangent, it's just weird.

Yes I use it also but it's not available at most retailers. GNC, Amazon, Ebay maybe, some health food stores. Wow just found it at sears online, $70 for 5#, I don't think so. Just not allot of places retail it.

Can't tell exactly about the image in the side window. Looked like rope for a moment but might just be a reflection. I have to look up the location, might have a better idea.

Because news got out yesterday that they were looking for a car matching this description

Is it possible that he dumped another young girl's body in CO, and he has Jessica somewhere out east???

I keep thinking their could be another girl involved. Didn't LE say they were still looking? Could one of the girls be from Iowa? Lizzy or Lyric? In ME, the girl was seen in the car, so her body type isn't known. Plus the fact if it was Lyric, she could have lost weight making her face much thinner. I know it would be long shot, but maybe this could be 🤬🤬🤬🤬 or trafficking. ??

I need to go back to the Maine sighting articles from yesterday, but I thought the car had some kind of fancy wheels? Maybe I'm confused on that, it wouldn't be the first time.

I have followed a lot of missing persons cases, but I'm by no means an expert. Are there any documented cases of an abductor taking a child from one part of the country, then dumping her body and abducting another child from a different part of the country? I just wonder what the true likelihood is that this could be a different child.

ETA: Never mind, the witness saw a Buick with a roof rack and five spoke wheels. Not fancy wheels.

Is there a roof rack on this blue car in the pic? I'm not seeing one, but I dont have the pic big enough. I guess you could always take it off, but you would SEE that there used to be a roof rack, right? Like holes or something? (I have no idea, as you can obviously tell!)

My hubby is a Mason. I mostly feel it is bizarre because they guys I know are so...peaceful? But there are bad apples in every bunch (priests, teachers, etc)

I don't know about new amber alerts, but there are two girls missing since July 13th from Waterloo, Iowa, and the younger of the two bears a resemblance to Jessica

I'd be willing to bet there are other similar looking girls who are missing.

Just a blown up image to make it easier to see.

I'm more wondering why there was a case of protein powder in the car than where it came from.

With the CO plate on the car they already know who it's registered to, now the question is, was the owner the driver, was it a son? a relative? did someone steal it?

It's also possible that box is being re-used. I have all kinds of boxes that I have used for packing and carrying stuff.

It does look like they are going to do more searching along Leyden Road today. Lots of vehicles including a couple of busses came in this morning.
