Last night I thought LE was looking for a weapon, now maybe it was
body parts. :( Since Jessica has a gap in her front teeth. A sore from glssses and her hair and facial features,it now makes sence why there was not an immediate ID. JMOO

Usually we hear of a severed head. I've never heard of a severed body. Are they implying that the body was found, but not the head? Or am I reading way too much into this?

The use of the word 'severed' body immediately brought to my mind the Black Dahlia case. Now I AM sick, or sicker I should say

I suppose this could be, it just seems like it being further down the hill it wouldn't get hit so bad. But I've seem massive cottonwoods downed like matchsticks, so...there goes my theory! :)

It's funny, cause you'd think so. But I swear it rips down those foothills and gets even more velocity. The wind here is insane. I think they are called bolo winds? I'll have to google it again.

I can't even imagine the pain her family is enduring right now. Bless them. And bless the LE working on this case. This is not the way you want to find any child. I pray they find the evil evil person behind this as soon as possible.

Cripes...even though my daughter is a high school senior and only walks a short way to her bus stop I still feel the need to take her myself.

Me too! I am originally from Cleveland, and have lived in LA for 15 years. Any time I hear "severed" I immediately think of both the famous Torso murders in Cleveland (which were never solved) and the Black Dahlia (also never solved, and of the same era).

Can we get the coords of the site put on the OP? I, as usual, am hopping from device to device and this thread is flying!

I just can't get that triangle area out of my head, from where they found the body, and the bookbag and the point of abduction.

I wonder if the perp lives somewhere inside that triangle? I suppose it would be more accurate if we knew the locations of any other of this type of crime that he has committed. Guys don't just become pedofiles overnight, he has to have been peeping, stalking, looking at child 🤬🤬🤬🤬 or molesting long before he escalated to this. It will be interesting to see once he is found, if the locations of his crimes happen to form a pattern around the place he lives or works.

I believe the perpetrator(s), possibly driving the white van discussed previously, traveled deliberately towards the pullover (marked "6" on the right in the image below.)

Please have a look at the three images below. The first image presents the viewer with the view presented to the perpetrator(s) if travelling west on West 82nd Avenue.

The third image shows the similarity between the presumed location where the victim was abducted, and the location where the backpack was found.

BREAKING: Buick wagon w/ CO plates spotted in #Dexter, ME and recovered in #Portsmouth, NH belongs to woman who just moved w/2 kids #wbz

They do not believe the car is related to Jessica's case.

Why was the car parked behind the building? Did she work at Walmart? Just sayin' ....think it's sorta strange without a further explaination.
