It's funny, cause you'd think so. But I swear it rips down those foothills and gets even more velocity. The wind here is insane. I think they are called bolo winds? I'll have to google it again.

I know, I hate hate hate the wind here. I can deal with the winter cold, but MAN the early Spring winds drive me batty.

Now, I was on my facebook just pittling about since its my Birthday today. (very sad day indeed) and Logan County Sheriff Dept released a copy of the "stranger danger" list that is broadcast right now on MSM. Well, then they said, "in light of the suspicious activities going on in Logan county" follow these instructions/steps. So I thought "What suspicious activity?" They did mention Jessica and also the little girl in Wyoming that got away. But also lead me to believe something had happened in my county. So I asked and one of the investigators advised me to go to the Sheriff office page. Okay, so I did....then went on to our local paper....this is what I saw....Now probably not related, but who knows? Very very scary....

This just happened this morning, there was also mention of other suspicious things happening, I am keeping my ear to the ground, this is small town, so will hear what it is eventually.... I have an eleven year old, so this doubley freaks me out....

I understand, I've been here for many years, been through too many of these cases. For some reason this time this one bothers me, don't know why, all I was doing was stating that this time this triangle bothers me.

Coming to this case a little late and have spent most of the day playing catch up. My heart is breaking right now. So not wanting this to be Jessica she looks like such a sweet girl. Prayers are going out to the family as well as LE.

From the way it sounds I am thinking an animal did this. If she was taken on the 5 today is the 11 that is several days for an animal to rough the body up.

Trees can easily fall over especially when the ground is really wet and there is 80 + miles an hour wind. Where we live we have straight winds all the time and each time new trees come crashing down.

I wonder if the perp lives somewhere inside that triangle? I suppose it would be more accurate if we knew the locations of any other of this type of crime that he has committed. Guys don't just become pedofiles overnight, he has to have been peeping, stalking, looking at child or molesting long before he escalated to this. It will be interesting to see once he is found, if the locations of his crimes happen to form a pattern around the place he lives or works.

It should really go back to asking patrons and employers who was missing from work on Friday? I assume he's in his 30's, if not the guy in the sketches put out already.

I posted this late last night but I'm going to post it again, because it gives a good idea of what the lay of the land is in the Pattridge Park open space...it's really creepy to watch given what we now know, but some may find it interesting:

Probably mentioned before but I am wondering if they found something significant in that bag on the sidewalk. This perp seems to be taunting police and maybe was proud of their deed, so proud that they went back to the scene and got caught. Read some of the comments on the linked articles. My guess is this is the sickos first time killing and thought they were pretty slick. But weren't.

So sad about this beautiful child. Beautiful girl - such a waste. Makes me sick.
