Could someone please share a link to a page that states his friends have been cleared of any wrongdoing (other than the Find Joe Keller FB page)? Thanks!

I don't believe there is one!

Something else that really bugs me is the fact that the ranch has not posted ANYTHING on their website or facebook page about Joe and a family member of his works there. Even if she didn't work there I feel it is their duty to put up the poster or say SOMETHING. The more I think about this the angrier it makes me.

But, a few days ago someone posted how it was such a beautiful happy time season at the ranch. Talk about rubbing salt in an open wound. Are they delusional? Or were they threatened by someone? The silence is deafening.

On July 23, Joe and Collin went for an afternoon run in Antonito, Colorado, but agreed to meet at a ranch because Collin is a faster runner.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...ard-sheriffs-admit-stumped-baffling-case.html

They agreed to meet at the ranch, but where did they leave from? Someone on the FB page mentions Black Rock. Some other people say they left the Ranch and decided to meet back there.

Now if they left the ranch and were running, how would they know when to turn back or how far they went? Doesn't make sense to me unless they had mapped out their route in the car ahead of the run.

If they had departed from Black Rock (which is apparently 7 miles from the ranch) that would make more sense for them to meet at the Ranch as it is apparently on the same road and therefore would be hard to miss. These discrepancies make me nuts.

On that article there is this photo
uh5zp2v.png
it says last seen jogging AT Rainbow Trout Ranch at 4:30PM

So was he seen leaving or arriving? What time was dinner? If he left at 4:30 PM he would have been running for atleast an hour by my calculations, then would have to come in and shower. So that would make sense for a 6PM scheduled dinner I guess. But IMO that seems to be cutting it close and I would expect normally people take a little bit to wind down before eating a large meal.

OK my last post for now. Sorry if I'm doing so many but some cases grab me more than others.

The last two comments on the Sheriff's FB page make a lot of sense. https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=1624968164438352&id=1595594977375671&fref=nf

One resident points out that there really is nowhere for Joe to disappear to and that the town is basically a ghost town. So unless he is in one of the very few homes spotted along the way, he is most likely not in Antonito and has been abducted. Also if he had an accident and died outside there most certainly would be buzzards. And no one has spotted them yet.

Also mentioned is that the location is surrounded by mountains but the road is flat and there may be one or two embankments but for the most part the road is the lowest point around. So the chance of him falling in a ditch is not likely. The terrain is rough but sparsely vegitated. It's not like a thick dense forest with prickers and brambles everywhere.

Someone commented on the FindJoeKeller FB page that Joe was found weeks ago. Her post was deleted. And someone else posted the screen shot asking for clarification. Well interestingly enough the woman who posted he was found is FB friends with members of the Sheriff's department. I noticed that Collin's FB posts stopped weeks ago also. Interesting.

This makes sense to me as to why the family is not pleading for help. I know they were instructed by LE to keep quiet but I know if it was my kid I would need a very very good reason to do so. Or else I would be on every news station, every newspaper, ever website known to man until my baby was found. I would be walking in those woods all day and night looking for him myself. I would be begging for volunteers. I would beg all of my friends and family to come help me. Now does the Sheriff want to keep his town out of the media because something very nefarious and corrupt may be exposed? Is he being threatened? Or is this some intricate investigative tactic? No offense but the county is all of 8k people so I doubt he has much experience in high profile abductions.

And on another site people are speculating that Joe has been found and/or suspects are known. But they are keeping the reward up to convince a witness to talk. This is why they think the family has been told not to say a word, because it could jeopardize whatever form of justice that might be served. I find that very interesting. I hate to say but sex trafficking is real and a young handsome fit blonde guy is a prime target for such things. Drug dealers and gangs are very present there. A $50k reward might not be much to a drug dealer who could easily make more selling Joe and/or drugs. If they want to make people talk they should offer more $$$ IMO.

Another theory I have considered is that Joe got a little lost and wandered onto someone's property and he was shot as an intruder and it is being covered up. This really reminds me of the Brandon Lawson case in so many ways. Many people speculated he was shot trespassing onto someone't property in the middle of the night and LE was refusing help and not doing extensive searching. LE being extremely evasive and quiet. No clues, no scent from the dogs, no witnesses, just POOF gone from the side of the road in the middle of nowhere.

If you look at the map the forsestry rd 250 changes into 731 and then back into 250 again and along the way there appear to be some homes. I could see how one would get lost and I am really puzzled how or why these guys would set off running somewhere they had never been before and just hope they wouldn't get lost?

Is there or is there not a threat of mountain lions and bears in the area?

I am also curious if anyone staying at or working at the ranch left around the same time the boys went running. (or made phone calls to someone else)

So I have:

He has been found and LE is keeping the reward up to try to get someone to talk.

He was kidnapped and taken away by local criminals. He was either sold in to sex trafficking or is being held for ransom.

He was shot as a trespasser.

He was assaulted/murdered by a local and dumped in the reservoir. (or elsewhere)

He got lost and disoriented in the wilderness.

No reason to feel concerned about your number of posts - you bring up some interesting points! Is there any way you could provide a link to where folks are speculating that he is already found? That would surely be a wonderful thing. I'm like you - this young man has captured my concern and I am really worried for all involved. I have sons not that much older ... I cannot imagine.

Antonito is not a ghost town, it has a population of 800, mostly Hispanic. There is several Bed and Breakfasts that stay booked through the season.

Hwy 285 is known as a drug route from Juarez Mexico. The DEA has made several drug busts along this route.

I believe Joe ran off the road on a trail to explore and ended up at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Sadly so do I. I also am starting to think the ranch and the rest of the family are being so quiet because they have real or perceived threats about it all. And they know there are powerful dangerous people behind this crime.

I have my thoughts about LE also but I will keep those to myself.

Also through your site i found Angelica Sandoval from Alamosa is missing.
A 5yr old was abducted from Alamosa, thankfully the mother chased him down.

A wealthy man from Texas was staying at the RTR and missing never found.

For a area that has less than 4000 people, that sure is alot people missing.

Plus your site gave me the name of the Hispanic gang in Conejo Co. Quick. google search confirmed it.

It has been one month since this lovely young man has gone missing. Seemingly into thin air, but someone knows where he is (OK, that is my opinion only). It has been way, way too long. Don't let this become a cold case. Think of his mom, dad, brother, sister and the rest of his family. You have the power and responsibility to bring and end to their agony and worst nightmare. What would you do if one of your family members were to go missing? How would that make you feel (think about this hard, especially)? Do the right thing and call Crimestoppers, anonymously, if you must. Their number: 719.589.4111. Pick up the phone right now. All that matters is that he is found and that his family can bring him home. Do the right thing. Please.

The reason everyone's hinky meters keep going off is because of all the conflicting information. LE and MSM say one thing, family members say another. Then later, they all change the info. Is there a comprehensive list of all the claims of Joe's location?

I've read they (Collin and Joe) were running together and split off when went Collin ahead at a faster pace, that Collin ran up a trail "to the lodge" to find a trail leading to a lookout and when he came back Joe was not seen again, that the cousin waved Joe off (from the lodge?) and told him to go faster (did he also wave Collin off?), that they (Collin and Joe) left from Black Rock heading to the lodge, that they (Collin and Joe) were on FDR250, that they (Collin and Joe) were running in opposite directions. I think there are 2-3 more other scenarios, but I don't remember them off the top of my head.

No where have I read what Christian was doing at this time.

There's also the fact that La Jara Reservoir was searched just days after Joe disappeared, and LE said they were looking into events prior to his disappearance. Even if Joe ran that far (and it was barely under 20 miles), it is pretty much uphill the entire way, and would require hiking and climbing too. No way he could have gotten there that fast with nothing but shoes and shorts with no food or water. Why wouldn't he tell anyone he was going there?

I agree. The conflicting information definitely makes the old hinky meter go off.
Why the conflicting info?
The truth does not change.
IMOO.

Neal did an interview on WCLE Cleveland tn radio station. Local Steve Hartline conducted the interview.

Treelight please link it for me :) The pain is unmistakeable in his voice.

Funny how i found out about another missing person Angelica Sandavol from Alamosa missing. And it helped supply me with some very useful info. I urge you to read her story here on Websleuths.

Good morning,

I have a few questions.

Am I correct in that it still has not been clearly established where he started on the run? Did he and his friend leave the ranch on foot? I still don't understand how the dogs couldn't pick up a scent if they knew his exact starting point, wherever it was. How unusual is it for the dogs to not pick up on anything?

Also, on the facebook page in the visitor section, someone has posted what seems to me to be important satellite info, but no one has responded.

Just wondered if anyone had any thoughts about the above? Thank you.
