Jefferson County sheriff’s investigators have discovered evidence that indicates a 28-year-old man who has been missing for more than two months is a homicide victim.

Joseph Michael Brinson’s family reported that he was missing on Jan. 23, according to a news release Thursday by Jenny Fulton, the sheriff’s office spokeswoman.

“Recently discovered evidence in an ongoing investigation of a missing person case leads investigators to believe foul play may be involved,” the news release said..

Authorities have not said what the new evidence is and have not indicated whether they have a suspect.

Brinson was last seen at his home in the 9000 block of Mica Mine Gulch Road in Littleton on Jan. 17, Fulton wrote.

You are correct, as one of his friends is KB, who says the missing man is her son, and has many posts regarding his disappearance.

Quinlan was arrested on April 4 in connection with the death of 28-year-old Michael Brinson. He was last seen on January 17 at his home in the 9000 block of Mica Mine Gulch Road in Littleton. His body was recovered on April 3 in Byers, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.
