DBM.A person can be having radiation but be terminal or not.
Once cancer metastasizes, ie spreads, radiation and other therapies are used to shrink tumours to keep the patient more comfortable.
Not all treatments are curative.
Challenging on the family too. I know I'm not the only WS who suffered the loss of family members from cancer, and it's not a club you want to belong to. I send my thoughts to all of them and hope they can be in a gentle, protective environment in this harsh world.I hope the former President isn't suffering. I'm sure cancer treatment at his age can be challenging.
