my 12yr old is in 7th grade....granted he just turned 13 2 weeks ago but still most of the 7th grade he's been 12.
Thanks. Some may also be in 5th grade for some reason, but they have stated in the news articles that she's in the 6th grade. I think NG speculates or is in a hurry on checking the facts for the show, and people assume she's correct.

See....the picture on the missing poster, IMOO, doesn't look anything like she looks now (from the Xmas pics posted on WS).

I don't know how the family is doing, but personally I am really frustrated by all the misinformation/lack of information from the media. Are they really trying to find her? Or have they chalked it up to a runaway situation and are now only half-heartedly involved? As many have said on this thread, at this point she's in danger even if she has runaway, so it should be a nonissue. The only important thing is to find her.

bumping for Kayleah!

He followed LE instructions to stay there when he wanted to be in Greeley. Now he's coming, and I'm wondering if he can help draw her out if they think she's hiding. I also wondered if he's coming to take custody if that's needed. Now I'm wondering why she ended up in foster care all the more.

My hope is that when he gets here, he makes a national plea for Kayleah to come home or if anyone has her to drop her off in a safe location. It is strange to me that the family hasn't spoken directly to Kayleah via the media. I know that this is a difficult time for them, but why not use the media coverage in a positive way? My gut tells me if she did run away, she is not in Greeley. (just my opinion)

Volunteers comb park in search for Kayleah Wilson; dad says he hasn't heard from her

bilde

Ken Turner looks under a rock ledge on the bank of the South Platte River while searching for clues to the disappearance of his cousin, Kayleah Wilson, on Thursday at Riverside Park in Evans. The 12-year-old girl has been missing since March 28.[

For Michael Wilson, the disappearance of his 12-year-old daughter, Kayleah, has been difficult because it's all happening so far away.

He also emphasized that rumors that he is in jail are not true, and he has been talking with the FBI about the case. He has not seen his daughter since she disappeared. Some news sources have speculated that she ran away to see her father, but he said he hasn't been contacted by her.

Chief Garner confirmed there are active leads that are being followed up on and also that authorities have developed persons of interest. They are pursuing every lead and hope to reach residents they have tried to contact in the past that were not home.

I'm hoping that Kayleah is found safe and soon!

If she has been abducted, I'm hoping that she is still alive. We had an abducted girl here, Katie Beers, who was held captive for a few weeks by someone she knew and she was eventually found alive. I'm praying we can do the same for Kayleah!

I have a feeling that LE DOES have some sort of surveillence video showing Kayleah. My guess is that that is where LE found their new POI's.....either video or friends at the 'party'. But, as for the video, it seems highly unlikely that she would pass by that mall..or through it...and not be seen on ANY video. I think they have it and just aren't yet releasing it. Of course, it may be that the 2 people who saw Kayleah at the mall led to LE pursuing the friends more thoroughly....since it appeared she was waiting for someone to show. As for the father:
What if...Kayleah contacts her father and convinces him that she needs to leave (possibly claiming abuse, etc). Dad knows/thinks that for whatever reason, he can't get custody. He also knows that if Kayleah goes missing, he's going to be suspect. So - he has someone he trusts (family member, girlfriend) go meet her at mall and pick her up and hide her for a period till things settle down.

Unlike most every other person in this case, Kayleah's father seems legitimately devastated about Kayleah's disappearance. I sincerely can't see him knowing ANYTHING about her disappearance.

Has Kayleah's fathers name been posted anywhere/released? Thanks in advance.

I worry that if LE has POI's and does not know where Kayleah is, that this is bad news.

I would not put too much credibility into what The Greeley Gazette is reporting. I have lived here for the past 5 years or so and went to college here in the 90's and have never heard of or seen this publication anywhere. May just be an online paper but non the less, never heard of it.

snip bbm

I see a family distraught, from the Mom who was despondent when talking to MSNBC. The brother who is out searching and begging for his sister to come home and the cousin who is crawling on his hands and knees looking for clues.,
