But what about the cell phone ping and text messages? In this scenario, did she send them to get more time or this invitation was nefarious in nature?

I wanted to give my thoughts on this very strange case. I strongly believe if law enforcement had anything on her fiancé, he would be done for by now. I also find his behavior very odd but we really don’t know the extent of their relationship. I think if he snapped and murdered Kelsey, he wouldn’t have drove with a dead body in his car to Idaho and send text messages 3 days later after she was last seen. Even if he buried her body somewhere nearby, I just don’t think it’s really plausible to think someone would take the persons purse, keys and phone 800 miles away only to send messages to himself and her boss days later. I really really don’t.

They have no known crime scene or body, they could have quite a bit on him, and he’d still remain a free man.

They can’t jump the gun, not with stakes this high.

The details as we know them, do not point to her leaving willingly. I initially thought that there was a good chance that she did leave by choice, but as we’ve had some clarity here, I absolutely don’t believe that to be the case.

Those text messages and ping, don’t jibe with a person who has left on her own volition.

They jibe perfectly however, with someone who is trying to misdirect an investigation.

Only a person closed to the potential victim would do something like that.

I can think of how. If he mailed something that would be where he mailed it. And may have shown pings enroute. Or maybe someone trnasported it for him?

I just tested something with my iPhone 8 Plus. If I power it down/turn it off, IT AUTOMATICALLY TURNS BACK ON when I plug it in to the charger!

Could it be that the phone was off or battery died and someone attempted to charge it, not realizing as soon as it was plugged in it would turn on and attempt to connect with tower?

Has it been confirmed that the 2 texts were sent at the same time it pinged in Gooding? It may be unlikely, but the phone could’ve been been put on any vehicle or truck and when it was discovered, someone tried to charge it, thus the ping? What if it was a kid or teen or someone who hasn’t heard of Kelsey’s case and they just threw it away or stuck it in a drawer. AFAIK, Kelsey’s phone model hasn’t been confirmed.

How far away from a tower in Idaho, could you be, for it to hear a SINGLE ping from a cell phone?

As far as 45 miles away, according to this expert.

So that phone was in Idaho, regardless.

Yup, he did the opposite, yet somehow managed to make himself look just as bad.

Not reporting the mother of his child missing, and making no effort to find her, doesn’t exactly rub people the right way.

Absolutely Safeway carries pregnancy tests. 3+ years of trying to conceive...I've purchased many...
