I was just wondering myself how trustworthy this was...

There's mo way we will know for sure what PF knew until he agrees to sit down and tell the truth, whether he was involved or not.
Not 2trustworthy probably. I don't think PF is going to sit down and tell the truth either.

A very good question

People keep asking this.

It is possible the two texts originated outside a coffee shop in the Woodlands.

The iPhone let's you send texts over wifi, to save cell phone charges.

Those texts become nothing more
Than an ethernet transaction, that is usually only traceable back to the provider.

If the ping could have been sent from Colorado and the texts via wifi, then the whole "how did he get to Idaho" is not an alibi for him.

I kept wondering how only a SINGLE ping would have been received from a cell phone in Idaho. Even a supersonic jet with the cell phone would have had more hits.
The one thing about this case that baffles me the most and seems inconsistent with other cases of this nature is the Idaho ping.

Everyone seems to think that technology is flawless. I am not so sure.

So I am keeping an open mind regarding whether KB's phone was ever actually in Idaho.

It sure would simplify things if it was not. JMHO, MOO, and all of that.

Did see the interview with the mother. Brother-in-law is very active so I think I saw two? Pastor - yes. The neighbor in the dark - yes.
No cousin and no Dad's friend.

There is some other relative, a man (an uncle? I would assume,on mom's side, the same facial structure? Older guy, different last name). Don't remember who he was but liked him.

I would love to see the dad and the brother. Just to look at them. Brother is probably busy in CO, though.

Even more so, would love to see interviews with Kelsey's favorite teacher, school friends, best friend. I got the impression that Kelsey is a very nice person but I don't know more.
I would too, largely because I’m a Kansan. KB and her brother CB graduated high school in southwest Kansas.

For anyone out there who might have real expertise in cell tower technology, this question is for you.
How common is it for a glitch to occur that would make it appear that a phone pinged off a tower that it was hundreds of miles away from? Does that kind of thing happen quite a bit or is it extremely rare? I guess what I’m trying to get to is, if you had to put a percentage likelihood on that Idaho tower ping being false, what would you give it? 5% chance? Less? More?

It's almost a little 2trustworthy to me, so I doubt there's anything here other than speculation. Even though it's stated as fact. ;)

I don't think it's 2trustworthy, myself. I don't think PF is going to sit down and tell the truth either.

Let’s not forget, he took the child with him as well...

Naw. He would have left her at home with his mommy.

Its truly remarkable how so many people are willing to believe just about anything someone says, as long as it supports whatever they choose to believe in or agree with. This guy abuses animals, he cheats on a girlfriend who is in the hospital and whatever else everyone quickly deems factual. I am in the extreme minority of people who chooses to look at these statements as, just something someone is saying at this point. I believe, when trying to decide if a human being is guilty of doing something really, really awful, that anything that anyone says about the person or the persons life, needs to be supported by irrefutable evidence. It makes no difference what I believe or think happened in this case. There is hardly any irrefutable evidence supporting anything we have heard or read about. Almost all the "facts of the case" have come from something someone has said, based on their personal perception and what they have chosen to believe about the people involved in this case and the lives they lived. That is it. I believe it is a little dangerous to make personal perception and personal beliefs, fact, in any situation. I am fairly certain most people would strongly oppose that being done with anything in their lives outside of sleuthing this case.
Have you reviewed video of PF “training” his dogs??

Yes. But we don’t know if it was open on thanksgiving. FWIW, both the store and the pharmacy are closed on Christmas.
But things like pregnancy tests don't have to be purchased at the pharmacy, they are available on the shelf. I live in Colorado and recently saw that you can even buy them at the dollar store....crazy!

I was hoping I wasn't the only one picking up on that!

He couldn't have told CB they broke up because, through his lawyer, he's confirmed they had a good relationship.

How would that have prevented him from telling CB that KB broke up with him?

Nice work. I believe you are saying that even if you could intentionally ping a tower 800 miles away, you could not make it appear that messages were sent from that location.

The police know where Kelsey's phone sent the texts from. From information given this is assumed by most of us to be Gooding, Idaho.

I believe what you are saying is that this discussion is unnecessary. Even if you could remotely ping a remote tower, you couldn't send texts messages from that tower. Correct?

My hunch and my opinion is a stray ping went to one of the new towers in Idaho.

He could have sent those texts from his home, using the wifi feature of the iPhone. That feature limits detection of location to only the internet providers IP address. If the other iPhone features are turned off.

It is the media that is suggesting the phone had to be in idaho

So if he did it, this is what we have to believe happened or something along these lines.

Whether premeditated or not, he murdered Kelsey. Waited several days to come up with this brilliant plan to dump her body either in Idaho or somewhere where she can never be found, all while having her phone on him while presumably leaving his phone at his house. Let’s say he did all this in his big red truck (which seems the most likely vehicle) or even another vehicle (maybe from a friend or whoever) he sent texts from the persons phone he murdered to his own phone and her boss once he got in Idaho.... Drove all the way back, waited for somebody to call LE because he surely wasn’t going to....

I don’t know. I just don’t know.
Ok, what is your theory on why she has not been heard from nor sighted for 28 days?

BSBM

I'm curious as to how you know what PF knows or doesn't know about "this stuff."

Mind explaining your declaimed knowledge about him, please?

Or is this your trustworthy opinion only?

Thank you for the close reading

I corrected my grammar

I see where you are going. I actually think he had cover up help as well. Likely with technical knowledge of cell phone capabilities and tracking.
