I watched the dudes (wpu) little live thing. the neighbor said PF blocked her (the neighbors) driveway. but she also made it seem like it wasn't that big of deal because he was just picking up the kid and leaving usually?

Well then, that was very rude and inconsiderate of him!

it's possible he was engaged in unacceptable and inappropriate behavior with the baby and she called him on it. possibly threatened to sever his parental rights but also to collect child support. Any of these would make a man with sociopathic tendencies take action.
I guess CPS looked at the baby. They must have checked it. Honestly - if there were any evidence of abuse, he'd not be at his farm now.

OMG your dog's picture!

this is so sad.

I keep thinking of the 15 month old child. Last Christmas, she was 6 months old and didn’t participate so much in Christmas festivities. In one week she will have Christmas w/o her mother. She’s old enough now to really enjoy festivities. No mother voluntarily misses that. MOO

many disabilities are invisible. many would not preclude one from caring for a baby. plenty of people with disabilities work, care for children, etc.
The statement that we all remember (now deleted) was that she could barely walk.

he could very well be abusing that child and CPS may not notice or do anything about it.

I think that was an article from early in the day. They hadn’t carried the stuff out yet.

JMO
Makes sense. And yes, the article was from earlier today - 4:30 pm.

I once lost my work iPhone for a week because my stupid dog buried it under all her toys and the battery was dead so I couldn't call it. I'd be happy to go look for KB's...if it has a GPS activated, a strobe light, and is playing NIN songs at top volume.

Seriously, though, if someone threw her phone there, it would take a miracle to find it.

Her purse is not found either. Her clothes. The person might have thrown it all these. If it is a waterfall, probably, gone. A river? Radar.

But - if someone threw it into a gorge, it shows up knowledge of the area? To me, it would.

PF's behavior makes no sense unless he knows where she is. That means he put her where she is, whether she had a breakdown and was involuntarily committed, which LE would have figured out by now, or he did something else with her.

Now now.... we websleuths of all people should be familiar with many examples of stranger/acquaintance abduction. :)

And then there is also the possibility that KB left Woodland Park on her own (no, I don't know how she got to Idaho).

But the point is that we are so hyper-focused on finding evidence to convict PF that we aren't even considering other possibilities. It seems to me that since the information from LE is trickling out so slowly that perhaps we could use some time to consider other scenarios, no matter how unlikely they may seem at first blush.

I am not making an assessment on how PF treats his daughter at all, but after two different states’ child protection agencies failed Lucas Hernandez, I have a hard time putting faith in any of them. Jmo.

At this point, they’ll be lucky just to find her body, let alone a dead cell phone.

Not sure. Sealing it and flagging it sounds like it’s very important evidence, I hope.
Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but red tape would indicate that it is sealed evidence to protect the integrity of the evidence (no contamination) and the chain of custody?

The statement that we all remember (now deleted) was that she could barely walk.

That is disconcerting. We've read about his supposed anger-management issues. Very worrisome.

With no history of domestic violence and no absolute proof that he's responsible for KB's disappearance, there's really not much they can do at this point. I'm sure LE is watching him like a hawk, though. At the first hint the baby could possibly be in danger, CYS will step in. MOO.

Even with history, it takes a lot to remove a child. Look at poor Lucas. That should have never happened, all of the writing was on the wall, and he still was left in their care.

I find it interesting that her phone pings where she has family.

I apologize if it came across as dismissive. Tone and context can very hard to discern in short written messages.

I meant "only" 55% killed by current and former partners to mean that, although the number is the highest cause of death statistically speaking, it wasn't the sole cause of death of murdered women, as it seems like we have been treating it. MOO

I mean, we have the right to treat it this way, given what we know, the LE's behavior and statistical probability.

But we should still entertain other possibilities because if our version proves wrong, we'll really look bad. I bet there are people in the area who know more. And maybe, had I lived there, I'd have a feeling, an idea. Or had I lived in Moses Lake...

But we are all so far, and know nothing, and while logically it points in one direction, it can not yet be 100%. I just hope the case will be solved.

I haven't followed many cases, mainly joined and followed the threads on KB because of living in Woodland Park .

Is the lack of information given by LE, and KB's family typical in most cases? I had thought more would of been said following search of PF's property, and more in general.

I was initially under the impression that KB's family thought she left on her own accord just based on interviews, however at this point it looks like that would be a miracle.

Waiting patiently for a break in the case.

What behavior? I don’t think we have seen much of his current behavior since he’s not talking

Yup. This is completely standard.

They typically don’t tell us anything, nor should they.

It’s frustrating as hell to us, but it’s the right way to do it.
