Yes, but it could have been the other way around. He planned on spending Thanksgiving with her, and she said, no, I have other plans, I am leaving for Soap Lake, bye. Then he got upset, "I don't quite believe you, but whatever. Don't bother to come back".

(Just trying to imagine the situation when I would not report someone missing - exactly one, if I suspected that the person was traveling with someone else).
Do you think that she was taking a first date to meet her grandmother?

PF's behavior makes no sense unless he knows where she is. That means he put her where she is, whether she had a breakdown and was involuntarily committed, which LE would have figured out by now, or he did something else with her.
I don't believe he could have her committed since they aren't married.

I thought I read that a tower dump wouldn't be useful because the tower dump only stores information for 3-5 days. She wasn't reported missing in time so the window of opportunity was missed.

(Wow really? Interesting. I’ve never heard of this time limitation in other cases...is there a link please? I’m very interested in this, if it’s just those towers specifically, etc etc...thanks in advance!)

It may not be common in your country, but it’s completely normal in America, to take your date on a 1200 mile road trip to visit grandma.

You really get to know a person in that situation.

This I honestly don't know. It is just that everyone thinks that the rolls point at plans interrupted. Many people are super organized, I am not. If I were late for work, or anything else, I'd leave buns, coffee, whatever, and rush out.
Right....because you expected to come back. You’d deal with them when you got home. She expected to come home. She had no intention of not coming home. MOO (and common sense)

it's possible he was engaged in unacceptable and inappropriate behavior with the baby and she called him on it. possibly threatened to sever his parental rights but also to collect child support. Any of these would make a man with sociopathic tendencies take action.
and I reckon any behavior changes at (her) work that could possibly be related to this were relayed to LE already. MOO

Has she been known to leave the baby with him for long extended stays, while she went off with someone?

I am new to websleuths and just started figuring out the way the site works. I noticed in the last thread someone asked me a question I missed. Sorry!

To answer though I only moved away from Woodland Park this past summer, and the 3 years I lived their I had residential mail delivery.

They also had PO boxes available in town as well.

Sorry I didn't see the question earlier.

Goodnight all, hoping to wake up to 'new' news, not the same reworded stories!!

And I took the monocle to the published photos of house exterior, looking for handicap access, deck ramp, etc. deemed necessary for one that struggles to walk and I really didn't see anything like that. Just sayin...

MOO

many disabilities are invisible. many would not preclude one from caring for a baby. plenty of people with disabilities work, care for children, etc.
Yes, that is true, but I never said anything about disability. My reference was based on a former member's post alleging the grandmother was barely mobile, and struggled to walk. I simply pointed out that the house entry and deck stairs do not appear to conform with the needs of such person.

?? First date?? No. I am not sure she went to Soap Lake at all. But she and PF did date, before, she might have told him about her life, maybe first flame who still lived there.

Once she mentioned the place, he might have become suspicious and jealous. I am just trying to imagine the situation when someone won't look for his current/ex. Because the other reason we have discussed.

I hope you're happy...that post just made me spit coffee on my laptop and now the keys are sticky.

I wonder if PF had ever actually gone on a trip to meet KB's family?

Ha! My guess would be that any contact that he had with them, likely came in Colorado.

Voluntary committed means, one signs himself in. But that could explain the long drive as she probably won't be willing to get commited in Colorado. Now, I guess FBI has checked all facilities, but what if a person signs under a different name? Can happen. And of course the cell phone is off. However, I guess he won't need a lawyer in this case.

Another situation, he did drive her somewhere to a facility, and something happened on their way, a fight? So essentially, he did not deliver her there. And she is really close to that last ping, around Gooding.

PF might have told her mom KB drove herself, alone, so for a week, the family was OK, and then decided to check and found out that KB did not sign herself in.

This would explain mom's strange demeanor, asking to look for the kid. She thinks that KB is wandering somewhere. But KB was probably not alone, someone, PF or someone else, drove her.
