There is nothing coming from LE. No new tidbit of info. Zilch, nada, nothing. We know SO little. One would think if LE felt they were barking up the wrong tree investigating PF after this amount of time, they would release something to let the public start looking beyond PF. But they are not. Which leads me to believe that based on what THEY do know he IS their most viable suspect whether he's named to be or not. I'm sure LE are treading lightly for a number of reasons in this case.

I've gone through different alternative scenarios in my mind that don't include PF but I can never quite make any of them plausible.

Yes. Unless it is a tiny private facility where they know her and where she might have used a,slightly different name.

However, I assume that she never arrived there. I think that PF, or some acquaintance, took her there, but something happened en route and she was never delivered.

She might have texted in Gooding or close by - to work - and then changed her mind, or they got into a fight, and something happened.

My version is, she really got into the car and was driven out of CO willingly. Trusting the person. But never reached the destination. And whatever happened, happened soon after that text was sent. I am with @Bill Carson who believe she sent the texts herself. But later there was some foul play. So the search should be in ID.

See, the employer being texted tends to make me believe that KB sent that text. (Occam, and all that.) I know that there are a thousand theories of how the texts could have been sent from Idaho by someone else, but AFAIK there's not a shred of evidence that we are privy to that would support any of those theories. (e.g., nobody has suggested that PF wasn't near home over that weekend or the following week)

There are 2 recipients of the Nov 25 texts, and there are 2 beneficiaries if they are a ruse. There are a lot of aviators at Doss and the AF and AF Academy guys. If there is a culprit from the Pueblo group, he has effectively cast suspicion on PF, who is suspicious as last known SO. Who is more likely to be able to put a phone on airplane mode, type a couple of texts, and then travel to the Gooding area to discharge those texts: the low tech guy who had never handled a smartphone and used a borrowed one for his dog video and <ETA: drives a red pickup truck>, or the high tech guy who can fly there and back while everyone where he works is off for the long 4 day weekend and flying all over, going home, commercial air or otherwise? He wouldn't have to fly into Gooding specifically, could be Twin Falls or somewhere. Maybe it is someone in the Pueblo group who has ties to that area. A transponder can also be shut off.

Especially after the neighbor is confirming what many have suspected that KB and PF were co-parenting with pickups and dropoffs rather than romantic, there is more cause to believe that PF could be innocent. He could have picked up the baby to take to his family Thanksgiving, and KB was simply picked up by someone else she knows from Pueblo/CSprings, not necessary on Thursday but could be Friday or Saturday. She could have scheduled a firm time & date face-to-face while at work and not left texts or call records.

It's supposed to snow in Twin Falls Monday - Wednesday but the weekend looks good for now. The same storm will hit Utah Sunday-Tuesday. I don't know where you are, but there's that useless information. Lol

I just don't think he would tell 2 different stories. He seems pretty collected, to me. He got an atty. just when he needed to and has not spoken with the media. He is covering himself pretty well. He has some family in LE and imo seems to understand some of the workings. He's given nothing as far as interviews to anyone, not even LE.
Sometimes silence is golden and sometime silence speaks volumes. I think both are in place in this case. jmo

I am sorry, but I do think that he did tell two stories. I am sure that he had not told any of his LE relatives that she was missing, so had no advice from them when he had to speak to her mother and panicked and told her the first thing he though of.
I don't think that this man is very bright at all.

I hope the weather doesn't hinder the investigation, though. Not sure what the weather is like there this time of year but I think I saw snow on the ground in some of the news videos.

So, you really think that she is some kind of mad woman that someone was taking to a mental health facility 700 miles away and she did something to cause her death?
Are there no mental health facilities in CO?

If you only knew all the dog rescues I have dragged him around Idaho for. He hasn't killed me yet! This Gooding thing might just be the one to push him over the edge. I can already see his face when he checks his emails in the morning! Actually I'm thinking this is more up his alley as he likes the great outdoors and sightseeing!

where they are is above 'Mile High' and projected (per my WeatherBug app in Morrison) expected to have 30% snow/cold/yuck on Saturday but otherwise highs 40+ till Tuesday with zero precipitation. But in CO that means "anywhere from zero-infinity inches of snow along the I-25 corridor starting now til June". Our weather is drastic, mild and completely unstable. I will be in the Black Forest (not far from there) on Christmas and will update accordingly.

Could be....I wasn't representing he had advice from his LE family re her missing tho. I was trying to represent that he had some knowledge of the workings in LE because he has relatives in LE....not necessarily because of this case.

Seriously though. Be careful if you go. Maybe bring a good pair of binoculars where you can look down from the bridge down to the rocks and get a closeup view of the bottom.
