Well she might now. But I don’t think she’ll ever say anything to incriminate him.

Not without a subpoena anyways.

I know we haven't confirmed if his mother is disabled or not, but since someone mentioned it at one point, I have to wonder if she is...we haven't seen her at all (that I'm aware of) so it's possible she is disabled, maybe bed-ridden. If that's the case, I wonder how much she even knows about what's going on.

Yeah, I could go either way here.

Few people are willing to hold on to a body for three days, and then make a lengthy trip to dump it.

It makes sense that she would be close.

But he could have always buried or hidden her somewhere on his ranch, and moved her on the 25th.

I’m leaning your way, but open to the alternative.
As we learned with Casey Anthony, decomp can be identified immediately. Three days is way too long. And there would be a vehicle with a story to tell, which hasn't turned up.

"What could Kelsey have bought at the grocery store that might have fueled his temper?" Maybe it wasn't a question of "what". One possibility may have been that a someone was at her home that morning. Someone whom she baked cinnamon rolls for and later, drove her to the market. She didn't want to leave the baby in the car with that someone, so she brought the kid inside. Her mother expressed surprise that she hadn't done her hair and make up. Maybe she was in a hurry to get back home before the father of her kid arrived. And he arrived early, just in time to see that someone drive away. Do we know if she dove her own car to the store?

If your wife went missing, would you report her missing?

Would you do something to search for her?

Because this guy didn’t.

The lawyer isn’t the issue. It’s everything that came before.

Thanks for the response. I would report my wife missing. But neighbors wouldn't describe my relationship as picking up kid with engine running and leaving with nothing else. And I'd also have friends coming forward as well. I guess my point is that we have no idea what their relationship was like. The lack of people coming forward seems very odd.

Oh, I think most people are in agreement on that.

There’s lots of different theories, but most agree that it’s very strange that we know so little about either of them.

We also know very little about the true nature of their relationship.

3 days=grisly. Is this where the 55 gal drum discussion comes into play?

Even then, imagine the trip and the risk! Would require steel noogies: does he seem the type, in your learned opinion? I can’t decide.

No we don't know that <modsnip>. Do you mean whatever happened to her she deserved?

I bet she is in Idaho with someone she started a new relationship with. Perhaps something went wrong with that relationship. Have the police said anything about her mental state? Another poster mentioned that she may have sought mental health care in Idaho. It would make sense that she would hide it and go to another state. She was a pilot and she would lose her license if she is found to suffer from some disorders. The police would not know because HIPPA and privacy laws would require the medical facility to deny any knowledge of her. She, and her phone, may be together seeking help. Everything is a theory right now. There is just no evidence available.

Ha! It would take a lot of cockiness and arrogance to be willing to take that risk.

A measure of stupidity as well.

I don’t know enough about him to make that call.

Mentioned that she may have. Don't believe everything that is the opinion of posters.

We have no information about her mental state.

HIPAA laws allow for law enforcement to determine if a missing person is at a facility.

They are not “black holes.”

No case receiving this type of national attention, has ever been resolved by the missing person being found at a mental institution.

It does not happen.

She is almost certainly dead, no matter what happened.

But I guess that's the point that I'm admittedly doing a horrible job of trying to make

We're quick to say it's crazy he didn't report her missing but at the same time we're saying we have no idea of their relationship. Sure, if they we're happily married and looking together and she went missing, we'd expect him to report her missing. Do we know how often they saw each other? Or the longest period of time they've gone since the baby was born without communication to one another?

Concur!

I just meant from your overall reading and knowledge about these sorts, just on a gut level does he seem to fit all of the above? I recognize that none of us know much about him at all.

Even so, I get brooding milquetoast rather than gutsy. JMO

Then again, I feel sure that he made her disappear, so.... moo
