On the official FB page, admin stated that the information about the status of the relationship did not come from KB, therefore they deleted the info. They didn't say where the info came from, but I have a pretty good idea.
Sounds an awful lot like another recent Colorado case.

In that one, there was an “emotional conversation” and she went to a friends house.

In this one we may have a “breakup” and she went to visit family.

Two missing women who leave home without their cars.

Atleast Kelsey took her purse and phone...

I’ve also read here for years, at least 4-5.

I signed up and posted on this case because -the likely suspect is using his right to remain silent (and if guilty at least is not a hypocrite)
-shared custody which I do with my child (and now I know better be more nosy when my ex asks me to keep our child during his custody time. BTW he has gone up to two weeks and does not contact our child (which annoys me but again he’s a grown man and I have no jurisdiction over him) (now if our child told me that she tried to reach him and no response for several days , I’d contact his relatives (not LE I’m not his next of kin or roommate or employer )
-vast majority of WS thinks he is guilty and not a lot of brainstorming of other possibilities was happening at first and if I were missing I’d appreciate all angles considered. (Plus cases like Jaycee Dugard, the Castro women, the curious case of Sherri Papini make me more open minded to statistical anomalies)

We encourage brainstorming based on facts with proof. There are other sites if that focus more on just saying whatever you think with no actual fact behind it.
That's why psychics are not allowed as sources

“I think this, because of this.”

Not “I think this, because it’s theoretically possible.”

Atleast that’s how I like to do it.

The fact is CB states they're still in a relationship, PF through his attorney says they're still in a relationship, KB's brother says they're still in a relationship, the neighbor indicates they're still in a relationship. The only person who contradicts this is the aunt.

Exactly, thank you

This is a case of implausibilities:
1. KB goes shopping appears normal. She does not appear rushed or over dressed or over excited. All appearances indicate it is just a normal day.
2. Based on what is released to the public, this is the last confirmed sighting of KB.
3. KB does speak with her Mother on the same day of the sighting. This is the last independently confirmed discussion of KB.
4. All other information conflicts with known facts. PF indicates she is going on a trip but her cars are present and her items remain at home. PF indicates he receives a text while she is in Idaho but every indication shows she had no plans to leave. She never told her mother but asked for a receipe instead.
5. If KB was on this trip, why would she not alert family or law enforcement?
6. Does KB really appear to be someone that would text their employer informing them she is taking a week off? Well, it is way past a week.

None of what you say here is suspicious.

Individually.

Putting your thoughts and other circumstantial details together paints the most common scenario being discussed here, but not enough to connect the dots. Electronic and video evidence that we are not privy to should fill in the blanks.

So here's a thought - if the phone made a trip to Idaho on the 25th, it's unlikely KB made that trip, too, three days after she went missing. That would mean she's still close by and her phone is just a decoy.

Yup. If she left on the 22nd in some unknown vehicle or on foot (and not one person or nosy neighbor saw her or recalled picking her up in an Uber or whatever), where was she from then until her texts? Camping in a tent eating food left out for feral cats? I mean not one sighting of her or memory of her at a gas station, hotel or motel, restaurant or convenience store? Not one ping from her phone, no internet activity, bank activity, communication with anyone of any kind, for over two days, and then she quickly powers up her phone to send a couple messages?

Where was she? My bet? Not traveling to Idaho.

Settle down, it’s a little strong to use the term “accusation”. We all struggle sometimes to know what the rules are and how to apply them. I was giving my opinion and my interpretation of how to apply them. You are more than welcome to believe differently.

But what we do have, in the first press conference, is both the police chief and CB answering in the affirmative when a reporter asked if the two are engaged.
We will have to agree to disagree.

I emphatically do not believe that LE have answered affirmatively that the two are engaged.

And especially since Kelsey's profession deals with providing instructions, safety and deals with security, I'd be concerned as hell if that text did not include some instructions and questions or comments related to the childs safety and security. This is why I brought p Skype, this is why I'd be shocked if she did not ASK if he was able to watch the child for a week.

Great point!

It's more than likely it was all said and done on the 22nd or 23rd. The text on the 25th is merely to buy time and give the "appearance" she was still with us. I'm sure it wasn't just her cell phone that went dark that day, probably her credit cards/debit cards too. If I'm not holed up in the house due to sickness or bad weather, I'm out spending money on something I need or buying gifts, whatever. She spoke to her mom about gifts I recall. But then disappears. No activity.

What differs from those cases is zero indication of mental health issues (no matter how hard defenders of PF try to make that insinuation, just as the CW defenders tried to make that insinuation with Shanann Watts), the last known person to see the missing woman refusing to discuss his whereabouts during the critical period, and two highly professional, competent and experienced agencies clearly focusing on that same man.

So it's a possibility but one that is pretty dim at this point for me.[/QUOTE]

Also, who sent those text messages from ID?

Waiving my newbie here too flag. I was a member is WS years ago during the Laci Peterson case, this is my first time back due to KB. We have many of the same local Washington State ties so I’ve been following her case closely. I know it’s very doubtful, but for her family I really pray she is still alive somewhere.

No one has even thought they possibly might have seen Kelsey and it's been 3 weeks. I can't remember another highly-publicized missing woman case where there we no (false) sightings.

It may be time for the FBI to call in Scully and Mulder.

Suicide is a possibility in various missing person's cases. It happens. We have seen that here.

I totally agree and here is why.

Her cars were in her parking lot.
Her purse was missing.

Those two things dont jive to me for someone that was intent on leaving the earth at their own hands. The only pssibility for me with those two facts would be if she was found very close behind the place where she lived. Like taking a solemn walk and did not go far behind her place.

I think she would have been found very close to her place if that was the case. Since she has not been found and with those two facts standing about her vehicles and purse missing I have to elminate the possiblity of self harm for now.

.....or take the cadaver dogs to Kelsey's duplex. No reports have stated cadaver dogs have been in her duplex.

Absolutely. Said and done by the 23rd and all wrapped up not very far from home. IMO, he was scared to death of getting caught which prompted the 24 hour drive, and was probably also terrified to go very far with evidence in the car. He didn't have to text the employer asking for a week off. Actually, it may have been easier to tell the boss she'd just needed two days off--but he was terrified of also having the police involved so he dragged it out a little longer. IMO

How do you know there haven't been any sightings? Did LE say that?
