Wisconsin? Do you mean another W state? Like Wyoming?
I'm not the OP but I do like the idea of if the phone is far away in one direction, maybe a body is far away in the opposite direction.

Could be. IDK.

Isn't luminol for blood?

The glow is produced by a chemical reaction with iron in the blood, but other substances can cause a similar reaction.

Feces will produce the same glow, bleach can too. Urine also contains a small amount of blood.

Let me ask everyone a question, if the intimate relationship between KB and PF is what it seems to be, if they were not really in one, is anyone able to consider that another person might be responsible for her disappearance? PF gets the child and goes on his way. KB had recently met someone and the two make plans for that evening. Maybe they agreed to have rolls at her place. When this person arrives, he says, let's go out and do something instead. Now the rolls are sitting on the counter, she ran out the door in a rush not expecting to go out that night. I would have to say, in the times we live in, it's possible for someone to meet someone online and not really know about them. I'm going to say this person was not someone KB knew that well but, he seemed nice enough. Is it possible she got involved with a crazy online dating person The plan for this person was always to do something harmful to whoever gave them the first opportunity. Maybe he wasn't from the area. I could imagine a scenario where KB had not been harmed but she was definitely taken against her will. This person decided to take her back to wherever he was from, which had them pass certain Idaho towns. She was forced to send the work text and then she managed to get her phone and turn it on just long enough for it ping off a tower somewhere. After that, who knows.
LE was given some info or they pieced something like this together and they are back at the condo trying to identify whoever it is. This at least explain why it seems they don't have video of anyone driving a certain vehicle near her home or in town. They wouldn't know what kind to look for. I think this is something that is pretty possible.

Apparently we are allowed to entertain all sorts of crazy theories just so long as a certain person is the perpetrator. You left that person out, so I guess you'll have to go back to the drawing board.

Kidding, of course. Just kidding! (halfway)

Like New Mexico? It's a scary thought. There are an awful lot of places to dump bodies in the southwest. And in Colorado.

So I will say something that has been on my mind. This may be accused of being judge mental or harsh, and yes there is no evidence of this, but just want to share my thoughts

I have had concerns since I realized that she was training Air Force students. When I went out there for work several times, there were quite a few students who were...overly entitled...and extremely flirty. It got to the point where I wore fake wedding bands when I traveled there, because it made me uncomfortable. KB is more attractive than I am for sure, she’s young too, and I just wonder if she dealt with that. From what I experienced, it was more than just normal flirting. It was entitlement and it was very hard to get them to take no for an answer. It’s just a thought that I can’t shake, and maybe it’s just a personal trigger for me, but I do hope they look into people that she may have come across at work, especially since the text went to her boyfriend and then to work. I realize I probably just came across a bad group of guys and the population as a whole isn’t like that, but I thought it was worth saying
I'm sorry you had to work in this type of environment.

If she died in the house, I don’t think she would have been able to be removed quickly, unless PF did NOT do this. The baby would have most likely been there, adding to the stress of the situation. He would have had to get the baby into the car, get KB into the car, and clean up anything that could point to him. And likely in daylight. I do think she would have had to have been there long enough for dogs to sense. JMO though

With this investigation, it appears one cannot clean up after a violent murder, use a vehicle for disposal, and plant phone messages kilometers away.
Possibly the cleaning rags were disposed at the landfill.
MOO.
I will love this trial.:)

So this murderer should have destroyed the victim's phone immediately, driven the victim to the bush, committed the act there, and buried the body there.
Then clean up the spade.
The GPS on the murderer's car must have been dismantled, and the murderer's phone left at home charging.
However, I guess LE will still arrest this new murderer, due to errors.
MOO.

Perhaps what at present appears to be a murder investigation at KB's home,
maybe we will hear another explanation soon.o_O
MOO.

We do not know FOR SURE when the baby exchange happened. It's possible it happened at 3p, he had TG dinner at 4p w/ his mom and baby, and went back at 6p to clean/relocate.

It's also possible he went back later for a solo talk w/ still living KB after PF had dinner w/ his mom (and way after dark) and put baby to bed. Then, their talk went sideways and she was transported immediately after.

I strongly believe we won't know until someone confesses.

Definitely, I believe the text messages were a red hearing that bought the perp more time and the disappearance convienlenttly and coincidentally happened during a nice long holiday weekend. What are the odds?

I'm sorry you had to work in this type of environment.

Worse were the high ranking people who, rather than stop it, told me it’s up to me to stop it by saying no. It’s a systemic issue unfortunately. But thank you. I just wonder if KB was in the same situation. It’s a very “good old boy” kind of environment, and if someone else took a liking to her...I just hope that theory is looked into. It’s partially why I’m not 100% sure that PF did this. The aggression I experienced was pretty intense, and saying “no” just made it more of a challenge.

We think of the texts as having to come from someone close to her. But someone who worked with her would know exactly who to text, too

Cinnamon rolls were in the oven. Breakfast was interrupted? Sorry, I am way behind.

.
Or that information was relayed to LE through his lawyer. I never got the impression through any statements that he directly interacted with LE. I thought he lawyered up right away, which makes complete sense given that he has LE in the family. But I could be wrong.
FWIW DailyMail:

Kelsey Berreth's mom says her daughter has a strong bond with fiance | Daily Mail Online

"... He [attorney LOEW] also said Frazee had turned over his phone and given DNA swabs to police as part of their investigation.

'Mr Frazee's cooperation includes interviews with law enforcement, voluntarily releasing his phone to be searched by law enforcement, buccal swabs, and photographs,' the lawyer said.

...'Mr Frazee hopes and prays for Ms Berreth's return.' ..."

Confession from someone whose #1 rule is "Don't Talk." :(

Fingers crossed for a confession and/or LE find a body and a trail of evidence. Could happen.

Wait! Wisconsin? Huh? Why there?

@MassGuy the cat food in WI must be magical life-sustaining stuff.

I think OP had a mix up of geographical proportions and confused Iowa and Idaho.
(Iowa borders Wisconsin and both sides are pretty rural parts of those states)

I at least I hope that’s what happened cause as mentioned by others. Idaho via Wisconsin from Colorado is a very long detour (though it would explain why it took 3 days to get to Idaho to text)

LOL, The difference is coming up with ideas where there is nothing that points in that direction except the idea that popped up. Did anyone ever see her with anyone else? no indication of that. Any waiters mention seeing her? Friends? Co-workers? security cams? Any texts? No, nothing. If anything like that exists it is not being released so we have nothing to go on except what we see investigators focusing on. We aren't being mindless lynchman. If we are focusing on someone that is because the investigators are pointing us in that direction and we determine based on what we know and don't know whether it makes sense. So do I think they are going down the right path? sure looks like it? Do i know how strong their evidence is? Not at all...

Not so, unless there is a reason for it.

The evidence will solve this, not a confession from the killer.

He ain’t talking now, and I don’t see that ever happening.

If he did it, of course.

I'm sorry that you had to endure that, too. I do know that the culture at the nearby Air Force Academy has been slow to change. There have been several scandals in the past decade.

I wish we knew more about KB's job and what, exactly, Doss does. (Yes, I've seen the description on their website, but it don't know what all those words mean.)
