I think there is LE presence at KB’s house. Just the evidence team, specifically, is at neither.

He's talking about the FBI evidence response team vehicle. It is not at either home, but there are definitely investigators at KB's house.
MOO

Are they at another site?

Removing sheathing around bathtub to get at drain plumbing?
I'm thinking along the same lines - something to do with plumbing. Could also be a sink?

“Getting tips everyday”.....interesting IMO
And “we hope to have answers for all of the questions...as soon as possible.”

Did they maybe go home for the night? Or do we have reason to believe they are searching at another location? (I'm sure the WP grapevine will tell us soon.)

I think that was one of the first things he talked to his attorney about. He has probably already made arrangements for his family to keep her.
His attorney also does domestic law, so I would bet that those papers are drafted and signed.

For some reason, I never thought that her house was a crime scene, as I assumed she left there willingly.

I now think it’s quite likely that something violent occurred there.

I think that could be explained away pretty easily as, "I came to pick up the baby, she was sleeping so I helped Kelsey put the groceries away." Perps lie.
If groceries were out, got tiny blood spatters on them, then got put away, that could be powerful evidence as to timing.... (however, that's a lot of "ifs"....) This is quite a guessing game as to what is in those bags....

If it did I pray it was not when he came to pick up the baby, I know she is so young that if she was a witness she won’t remember, but still, ugh.

I think he should get advice from Mary Winkler's attorneys.

Yep yep. Me too me too. The incident occurred during the day at her house. He went back and got her (and her phone and purse) after dark then placed her somewhere close-ish, then drove her phone and purse to ID. IMO MOO

Thinking how her neighbors must be feeling right now...I share walls with people and it would be horrifying to imagine that something may have happened right there, and I had not heard anything, been unable to help, etc...
Yes, but it may have happened on Thanksgiving- they all could have been traveling to loved ones or friends homes themselves, or hosting gatherings at their own homes, to which could have been loud with other family, friends, kids, football games, etc upping the loudness. That said, it would freak me out if something happened to one of my neighbors, whether I was home or not. How awful, if something did happen there, for them all.

She could have some area rugs on her wood flooring. Or have carpeted one room for the baby as she learns to walk.

I think that's the best guess. It's hard to totally get rid of all that.
I just find it unlikely that he did something in her house and then had to move the body. I still lean towards her leaving with him willingly to go somewhere under false pretence and somehow ending up at his property where the crime may have taken place. Quiet and secluded property, away from any watchful eyes while you're loading it into a truck or trailer. I think she left there fully intending to return. JMO
