I came on this morning to post a video, but saw news of the arrest. Thank God. I hope LE has ample evidence to make this an easy conviction. When all is said and done, I pray that Kelsey’s family is at least able to be comforted by justice being served. My heart breaks for them- especially baby K. I anxiously await the presser.

The video I am linking, shows an investigator looking up high in Kelsey’s home from the doorway. From my understanding of the house, he’s looking up at the wall in front and to the right of the loft. About the 44 second mark. Police search Kelsey Berreth’s home again; She’s been missing since Thanksgiving

I wish the reporter filming the video would've yelled if he'd like to say anything now. Then, ask about the chains he was so intent upon locking the gate with.

I agree. Right now, I can't act all gleeful. There is a lot of family, friends and co-workers with heavy and broken hearts right now. Just before Christmas. I truly wish she was alive, this is just devastating all around. Even to Patrick's family- we have to remember, they're hurting, too. No one ever wants to believe that their loved one could be responsible for someone's murder.

I would feel worse for PF's family if they weren't so awful about the whole thing on social media. It's like CW's family all over again.

Odd place to arrest him-- in the middle of his driveway? Was he trying to drive away as they came for him? Do I see a lady with long grey hair in handcuffs too?

It looks like he was going somewhere. I see her too, but I think it's just the way she's standing - I don't think she's in cuffs. We'll find out in less than 2 hours, though!

Yes, it does. I don't think she's in cuffs - just standing with her arms behind her back.

I don't want to accuse her if it is someone else. While I believe so, it could be someone else, too. We'll have to wait and see, I am sure the media folks are checking into this right now. I got to leave in 10 minutes for work, so I will keep this page marked to come back to tonight. God Bless Kelsey's family, friends, and co-workers. My heart is with you all, and I pray you have an answer soon as to what happened to darling Kelsey.

To be honest, I don't think LE thought after the first week or so that Kelsey was alive. FBI came in- that is a strong indicator, to me, that they either suspect kidnapping or murder. If they thought she was a live and well, and taking a break from reality or running away, I sincerely doubt that they would have gone through all of the steps to gather evidence against PF. Personally, I think all law enforcement, FBI and CBI have done an incredible job handling this case. There was so much for them to sift through and sort out, and investigations take time and patience.

The way her mother behaved in the first news conference was indication that she had been told the chances of Kelsey being alive were slim. LE isn't cruel and they don't give families false hope.

I regret ever giving him the benefit of the doubt.

BRII, it comes from a place of not wanting to believe it because if you do, then you have to believe she's dead.

I'm relieved to see 'Arrest' added to Kelsey's thread. Seems like a long time coming.

My heart goes out to Kelsey' s family. Especially Kelseys sweet baby.

I hope Kelsey is found soon.

I don’t regret giving PF benefit of the doubt because although my gut told me HE DID IT, we didn’t have proof of evidence yet.

My observations on his arrogance and his hot temper towards reporters told me he did it.

Also, LE was onto him from day 1. At the first press conference, LE made remarks such as:

“You’ll have to ask PF why he’s not here...”

“That’s a good question. We will need to ask PF that.”

Changing my mind on the cuffs, too. I think the grey-haired woman is in cuffs. Whether she was actually arrested or just cuffed to prevent any interference I guess we have to wait until the press conference to know for sure.

It could be his mother, definitely not his sister. The reporter said PF was headed down to the gate as LE were headed up to the gate, so PF's mother may have been with him the vehicle and they're just holding her off to the side while they place him under custody.
