• You offer your services or the services of a third party as either a principal or accomplice to commit a felony;

AND

I wonder if he didn't necessarily try to hire someone to commit murder (I believe she died directly at PF's hands - JMO), but rather getting someone to conceal evidence (cell phone perhaps)? Just pondering...

I think he thought of Kelsey as his possession. He would have lost "control" of her and possibly of their daughter if Kelsey broke up with him.

They better be or they will end up dropping that charge. Breaks in this case may be due to someone else talking.

ETA: It is possible that he solicited but the person declined and that person came forward. It also can be that immunity or a deal was offered to someone.

It could mean he solicited someone to kill her, but they refused. Their tip off could have been valuable.

Doubt they got a tip off since during the Q&A they said it was possible the solicitation could lead to another arrest
