Are you saying you did find a connection to a person like this?

Or that is the kind of person you suspect?

I for sure think it could be someone with a sketchy history that he used as an accomplice. But I also think it could just be property he is familiar with—owned by a friend, family member etc. that he helped himself to.
I am suspecting PF may have shared a common interest of silencing KB with someone who lived in Idaho. I am probably alone in thinking her death and nothing to do with domestic issues.

I agree that something like a can of paint or other materials in the trash he dumped may have tipped them off.

A paint can was exactly what I was thinking. Can't burn that. Would have to bury it take to the dump.

Does anyone know WHY Kelsey had two cars? Did PF by her the 2nd car? Toying with the idea of whether he was involved with illegal activity and money laundering.
I believe her aunt posted here that she used one for commuting
as it was more economical to drive. Lots of people have 2 cars
for that reason, one for comfort, one for gas mileage.

I suspect that PF had a second phone which was used to communicate details of what he had done. He may have destroyed that phone but they still remained on someone else's phone. Maybe someone in Idaho.

I have had two cars at many points of my life for similar reasons. I was surprised that she held on to them both, given her situation. (Age, child, wanting to purchase a home with PF)

There is a dump in Cripple Creek that is much cheaper than the Waste Management one in Divide to dispose of your trash.
If you have just bags there is a trash truck that you throw them into, if you have big items you throw them like over a cliff into a huge trash container. I think his chances would have been much slimmer in disposing any evidence there rather than where he went. If he went to the WM one all the time yes he would be recognized, but if he never went to the one in CC I wonder why he did not go to that one, incognito would have been easier and his chances of being detected would have been slimmer.

I wonder if she had both of those cars prior to her move.

I agree. This crossed my mind too. Especially since he lives in a relatively small town of 7500 where he might be easily recognized by a local.

But I am beginning to think he was only smart enough to know he has to do a really good job cleaning up...but wasn’t smart enough to think through all the other pieces.

Maybe it was stupidity or maybe it was arrogance that led him to think he could just casually stop by the dump.

In terms of Kelsey's move to Colorado, which came first.... Patrick or the job? Thanks!!

While there’s a smaller chance she knew, I have a hard time believing someone who trained years to be in the medical field would be likely to join a plot to cover it up.

I think it’s more likely that PF told her he didn’t do it. But maybe as time went on she began to wonder if he could be involved. She may have pushed that thought out of her mind, not wanting to believe her son could do something like that.
I’ve been in the healthcare field for 30 years, some of my best friends are nurses, I too find it hard to believe that she knew. I’m sure she questions his innocence. Wow, horrible all the way around - what an 🤬🤬🤬.

Well LE must not have been "watching" him at that point because it took the employee that recognized PF to call it in.
Whatever he dumped might be nothing but trash, BUT he did have two trash cans at the end of his driveway. You pay for the service and they pick it up either once a week or every two weeks depending on what you want.
So he DID have trash pick-up at the ranch.

Do we know:
Kelsey's educational background?
PF'd education ? He claims to have some college- on arrest docs
What jobs Kelsey had before her move to Co.? Was she
employed when she decided to move to Co.?

I didn’t know he had some college. There is a community college in Twin Falls area too...

Exactly. WM is one of the strictest landfills for tracking and accounting for the waste that they receive.. They will have records of what he disposed of.

If this was premeditated, it has to be one of the most stupid on record.

No exit plan I can see, except he was in possession of the baby.

But to take something incriminating to the dump . . . good grief -- that has to put the star on the treetop. His place had been searched. They didn't find it. LEAVE IT ALONE!

I was going to mention that earlier. It was actually 48 Hours if I recall.

It appears to have been a scam that many people fell for.

People would contact a particular hitman service on the dark web, and end up losing a ton of money, as this organization didn’t actually perform that “service.”

Scary that there are so many people out there that want to kill people.

One of the cases featured in that episode, involved a guy who tried to hire a hitman to kill his wife.

He ended up doing it himself, but his payment to that hitman website did him in.
This woman I used to work with got caught for trying to hire a hitman to kill her step mom! She went to jail for like 10 years. She said she couldn't remember doing it because she was on pills, but there were like 20 calls to the guy over a month, and the guy ended up being an undercover cop!

I just keep asking, why did PF choose Idaho?

At first, we all saw the location as a possible half way point on a trip to her grandma’s house.

But no one has considered a trip to grandma’s a viable option in a long time.

So then, why Idaho?

Did he repeatedly visit or even live with another parent or other relative there?

Did he compete at the rodeo there every year?

Did he go to community college there?

I just want to place PF in Idaho to an extent that he’d have familiarity with people and places there.

I keep thinking of an incident that was in the news in the UK. It was caught on CCTV. An employee at a bar strangled the female bar manager in full sight of several people. It could have looked as though he was simply hugging her (around the neck), but her arms went rigid and she passed out. She received medical attention and survived.

My point is that a strong man could kill a slight woman noiselessly and bloodlessly.

You can see the video about half way down this news piece.
