True, but I’m curious to know if he was a hothead before the kick too.
I think him being a hothead, caused the kick in the first place.

That was the implication of that anecdote, not that the kick caused him to develop anger issues.

I saw that Pommy answered you but I just wanted to add:

During a case, both parties have the opportunity to petition and/or respond. So in this case, the defense has filed their request and the People have responded to it. Basically, they are both talking to the court (judge). They are both telling their side of the issue. The judge is ultimately the one who will grant or deny the defense's motion.

I haven’t read all the replies so apologies if it’s been answered already.

This is the DA’s answer. It’s been filed but not ruled on by the judge yet.

I wonder if there's a 2nd body out there somewhere. Maybe PF found 2 people at the condo and went into a jealous rage...

No. The charges indicate this was premeditated murder. There was no rage, no anger, no loss of control, no accidental death either. Just cold, calculating murder. MOO.

ETA: And also no indication the victim was seeing anyone else. Kelsey was planning to go to dinner with PF and their daughter.

Absolutely agree. He solicited for her murder.

Is there another person missing in the area? Someone that went missing on Tday?

For me, this comes down to the search warrant served at his house.

Had he been caught in a lie like this, it’s quite significant.

I would expect that this would open the door to an earlier search.

@riolove77 what do you think? Would this be enough?

ETA: If he did in fact lie about this, and LE wasn’t simply keeping it quiet.

Sorry MassGuy, I'm full of Christmas Eve food and not fully functioning! I'm confused - are you asking about whether he would have been searched sooner had he been lying about the pickup of K?

Pretty boy young-ish face? It’s funny how the same person can appear different to others. I said about 10 threads ago that in the family photo he looks MUCH older than her. Like mid-late 40’s. Maybe it’s his haircut, I’m not sure, but he looks old to me. I am slightly older than her and just can’t see what she saw in him. He isn’t, IMO, physically attractive at all. This was my thought prior to knowing he was involved or about any animal abuse, so my perception on his looks wasn’t swayed by my opinion of him (even the hottest guy would be instantly unattractive to me once I figured out he abused people or animals!).

Does anyone have a link to where he abused animals? I'm curious. I don't disbelieve it I just haven't found an article yet referring to it. Thanks!

Another puzzling thought. What kind of information has LE been able to gather from the immediate neighbors-the townhouse that connected to EB’s?

Walls between townhouses are not totally soundproof, some are better than others. If EB and PF were arguing, my guess the neighbors could hear it but may not be able to make out the conversation. Depending on the shouting, some words may be picked up. However, if a fight were happening, the neighbors may hear it.

A gun shot certainly would be heard. Any pounding of replacing drywall would be very noticeable. It amazes me if he was able to do any major cleanup or restoration without being heard or seen. Neighbors are very watchful as to what goes on around them. This is in my southern area. I would hope everyone has such neighbors guarding nearby homes.

Yeah I mean logistically, the defense filed theirs on Friday and the People today...the judge almost couldn't have ruled on it if he/she wanted to lol.

I think PF motion Re medical care was invoking privilege WRT having medical history brought into evidence, not refusing care. KWIM? MOO
One of our legal experts can weigh in. I think it was more lazy reporting. I’m basing it on one of peoples’ responses.

Haaaa. Understandable.

Correct. If they had him caught in a lie like that, do you think that would have been able to get a judge to sign a search warrant for his property.

Would that be enough?

(O/T, I’m having a flashback of this famous actress who is married to a guy who was charged with animal cruelty to his horses iirc? (Diane someone maybe??? (Or not))... It’s bugging me that I can’t remember who it is...)

I genuinely think they will use his rodeoing and kick in the head as a way to decrease culpability. Footballers and boxers have CTE and long term effects from concussions and such. They could even have a CAT scan or something.

again I image having a horse rearup and kick you in the forehead caused a significant concussion if not a head injury.

He acts like a head injury in many ways and I say that from a purely clinical perspective. These are my opinions only. Thanks.
Agree. My friend got hit by a car while she on her bicycle and a CT Head/neck in the ER showed no abnormalities. While she was in the (local "General") hospital she started acting WEIRD and MEAN. This lasted for many months until she was finally referred to a neurologist who did an MR Brain and eventually got her sorted out. I wish I could remember more details but his was a few years ago.

<modsnip - quoted post removed>

<modsnip - response to removed post>

I could care less about any aspect of the case or those involved, other than a remote sympathy toward the loved ones of KB, sorrow for her now-parentless child, and a deep and abiding interest in all things relating to criminal law (especially those with mysterious aspects). I have lived in South Carolina for the past 7 years and in Virginia/Tennessee for 39 years prior to that. In other words - extremely disconnected.

To @heartgoesout : I am not an attorney, but I have done legal research for several attorneys and various private parties over the past decade (primarily family law and criminal law issues). All these attorneys and private parties were east of the Mississippi River and did not have any connection to anyone connected with the KB disappearance (to further state the "disconnect").

@BessDrew asked: Just curious - why did you ask so many questions about CB and not PF? <modsnip - refers to snipped statement> (Sorry for not "quoting" it.)

PF's father has not ever been mentioned, as far as I know. <modsnip - sleuthing family>

No one has stepped forward to claim, as they have with KB, that his family is close knit, speaks regularly, or has strong and intimate family ties. <modsnip - sleuthing family>

Also - has it been mentioned yet (in these threads) that PF's attorney is now Adam Steigerwald, a public defender? Jeremy Loew stepped down as private counsel some time within the past couple of days (I think). In that same linked article about Steigerwald, the District Attorney also clarified Colorado's solicitation statute ("steps taken to see it through" and something done "to show the firmness of your actions").

moo but the first several questions re: her employer, texts to her employer, etc, don’t make much of a difference now when we know she’s presumed dead as of 11/22 based on evidence that LE has collected. We know she didn’t send the text and so there isn’t much use in discussing whether or not a text would be an appropriate means of calling off work, etc.

Several other questions were answered or not answered, (meaning that info isn’t available to us at this time,) in some of the comments. Others in media links and the majority of those should be consolidated into one post for easy scanning.

As far as pics of her, etc., I don’t think the media typically has access to the abundance of pics they had with someone like SW whose social media was wide open. I would imagine her family opted to use pics that they felt were a good likeness. It doesn’t take a whole portfolio to do that, so I don’t really have any bias towards the quantity they used.

Maybe her dad is shy.

I don’t remember the rest of the questions.

LE referred several times to numerous interviews. Neighbors could be included and asked not to discuss what they saw/heard. MOO

I believe it's been stated that the closest neighbors were gone
for the day- it was Thanksgiving Day.
