Gary Ridgeway, the Green River killer, told the detectives interviewing him that he would always put a sheet down for that very reason. I don't know if PF would be that smart, though.

With relatives in the police force and a mother who was a nurse, he may have been aware.

Or if he had done it before...
Just a thought.

Also, PF isn't missing - so why would his family express undue concern or speak out to the media? It's a matter of "oh, his girlfriend that didn't even want to live with him is missing," rather than "holy $&#&!! my single parent daughter is missing!!"

Ughhh hit post too soon and lost my quotes when I snipped this.

What I intended to say is presumably his family loves his daughter and would want her to have her mother. I wouldn’t consider her whereabouts an undue concern.

In many cases, families of both people speak to the media (I.e. MT’s boyfriend’s mom) both to plead for the safe return of a young family friend or to stand up for their own accused loved one.

Perhaps the FBI got the green-light recently to hack into KB phone remotely.

Yes, I would hope so!

The top paragraph wasn’t my statement- I was quoting a section of @SiouxSays post and managed to delete the quote box AND hit send too soon lol

I will also add that just because we have not heard from Kelsey's friends and co workers does not mean she has none. LE really instructs everyone to keep silent when it comes to talking to the media during this part of an investigation. IMO

LE can’t instruct everyone to remain silent. They’re not even aware of every person a missing person knows. We cross paths with many people, even on a daily basis.
Friends not talking are “good friends”, they respect KB. I can honestly state if I went missing not one friend would speak to anyone other than LE (if requested) & I, too, would refrain from speaking to anyone, should a friend vanish. LE has a grip on these things. It’s their job. Other than a sighting (most are not true), there’s little anyone can offer LE. We see the same thing in every case. LE is bogged down with false leads. Wasn’t Laci Peterson seen in Washington state on Xmas with a double (leg) amputee?
**think of the contacts a person that has moved from state to state has. Omg, I’ve lived in WI, MI, KY & OH. In one hundred years LE could not make contact with people I know. I can barely keep up with them.

Yes, I’m sure for anyone who missed the OP, my comment makes no sense at all haha

Does anyone remember the first time they saw this in the news?
I seem to remember it was just days after Thanksgiving, "Colorado woman missing since last seen on Thanksgiving". I remember thinking, because of the Watts case, "Not another one, it can't be true"... I also remember a gut feeling from the first photo of PF that he knew more than what was reported.
I seem to remember it first came in the news right after Thanksgiving, before she was officially declared "missing". I just can't find those initial bits in the news.

Her mom’s first Facebook post about her daughter being missing, was on December, 3.

The media picked it up the following day.

This case gained national attention following the first press conference on December, 10.

This entire holiday season will forever be ruined for her family.

True. Thanksgiving will always be associated with her death.

Christmas will be their first one without Kelsey.

So true. Hopefully they will be able to raise Baby K & replace some of the heartache with better memories.

OT @PommyMommy thinking about changing my name here to “Pug Daddy” Lol. Is there a way to do that?

Her mom reminded me soooooo much of Sharon Rocha.
Almost as if both wanted to scream “HE DID SOMETHING”, but could not. Both women seemed to have that “far away” look in their eyes, IMO.

My thoughts and prayers are with them I can’t imagine what they are going through.

I agree.

She was clearly in shock.

I think that in time, we will learn that she suspected <modsnipped> Pat from the beginning.

For whatever reason, she decided to keep those suspicions to herself.

It may have been because she wanted to ensure the safety of her grandchild.

They must be so relieved the baby is safe. IMO, they’ll be strong, for her. Kids, as we know, are resilient. She’ll have an amazing life, IMO, with K’s family.

Exactly, just as Sharon did. She praised Scott. I’m sure she was vomiting in her mouth as she said those words. The look in her eyes told a very different story than what she articulated to the media.

I feel the same Trudie. Did you see that clear photo of baby K with her mom? Just beautiful.
