Ever since the ping was mentioned by LE to have occurred in Idaho I have been thinking there is a strong possibility her body was taken there too. The reason I think this is there is a purse and phone and body the perp has to get rid of. So to minimize the risk of things being found I would tend to think the perp would get rid of them all in the same place and at the same time.

I had not yet considered cattle processing people and places that he may have known about.

The question I have if anyone knows. In the processing plants for animals like cattle, is it typical that these plants would have incinerators?

Thinking along the lines of someone he may have known that would let him use the incinerator or even do it for him for a money payment.

Any hospital has incinerators. Any facility needing to destroy biohazard materials on a regular basis (there is one in Twin Falls - don't know why I looked it up) has incinerators. This, too, needs to be looked at.

I listened to the NBC nightly news and thought I heard something about search warrants in Idaho. I finally got to hear the newscast a second time and here is a quote from the newscast: "Sheriffs in Twin Falls Idaho are serving search warrants and collecting evidence near the tower where Kelsey's phone last pinged." Go to https//www.nbcnews.com click onto the US News icon to locate the story. Kind of strange as Gooding is in another county and Twin Falls probably does not have legal authority in another county. The FBI can do whatever it wants.

Any LE agency will issue warrants in their jurisdiction, if requested. Otherwise, criminals would just move, to never be caught. Arrest warrants are faxed & emailed 24/7.

Jmo, LE told us about the solicitation so we would KNOW this was not a rage, spur of moment, crime of passion crime. They were not ready to give details...but wanted that bit out there.

Well it was also one of the crimes he was charged with, and explained the reason for the first degree murder charge.

They knew it was premeditated.

Some outlets love to sensationalize things, from the Daily Mail to Ashleigh Banfield.

It is about ratings, and sensational headlines generate clicks.

This is not a new phenomenon, unfortunately.

The problem here, is that even well respected news organizations have gotten it wrong.

We have limited information to work with, and we’d all love it to be accurate.

Hopefully this changes.
Totally agree, MassGuy. The frustrating conflicting information in this case hasn't so much been "sensationalized" as it has just been inaccurate.

Some of it such as things like the date of the welfare check, if KB's physical phone was found, when baby K's custody hearing was first filed, etc., has been the media either hearing it wrong, getting confused, going off an assumption, or drawing their own conclusion without realizing it wasn't an absolute - and reporting it as fact. Then you have some news organizations doing it that way, but not others, and suddenly you have competing and conflicting information out there. It's been a mess.

Before even the Ashleigh Banfields and Nancy Graces start yapping and spinning headlines or Daily Mail clickbaits.

Hoping thread does not close over the holidays...not going anywhere lol.

Imo she looks more like him than KB.
I agree, when I saw her I thought she looks SO much like him. Children go through phases though....

All media gets stuff wrong...they are all in a hurry, no editors anymore as we know them. Some “headline” certain things on purpose that are not really false, i.e DM writing that PF’s mother was “detained” was technically true...though it was only for moments.

So it was not “false”...just made the most hay out of ot.

Right...but it was like they wanted to announce that charge right away...before people could start excusing the murder away. But jmo...
Eta justifying...not excusing...but some still are doing it.

These people are under a lot of pressure to solve this, as the entire country is watching.

I think this was merely protocol though, and this simply had the added benefit of placating the public.

You see this in every single high profile murder case, when an arrest has been made.

So much of what we read regarding crime is inaccurate. Which, angers me. Idk if the media outlet is sensationalizing facts or maybe the editor dresses the Story???

Example: every night, Ashleigh Banfield reported CW had no books, no commissary, nothing to do but sit alone in his cell. I immediately asked a relative in LE how this could be true. He had never heard of an inmate with no jail infractions treated in such a way & wondered if CW attorney might address it with the jailer or court.
Upon reading the DA case, I stumbled across the notes from the correction officer on duty, 3 per day, iirc. Notes like this: Examples only!!

15:07 checked CW he was talkative, followed my direct orders.

17:09 Observed CW eating his commissary, reading a book provided to him by ________.

Saw one report that said the Lt. on duty even said “he’s not on discipline, he’s allowed to read”.

So, how can the media get things so misconstrued? Ashleigh had it wrong every night but it did amp up her ratings.

**Again, the county jail is merely a holding facility. They are not in biz to “punish” inmates. Most haven’t even been found guilty so minus misbehaving, there’s nothing to punish them for.

Same with prison. The punishment is the length of sentence. The prison can’t dole out extra punishment because of the nature of the crime. Sure, things do happen that COs allow to happen, but infrequently.

Holding, right. Especially on National holidays, but on other days, too. Another sad part of police job. (Police in our state is pretty good). But when there is a 911 call, police has few options, such as, leave at home or bring to jail? The word "aggression" means, jail. And during festivities, all local jails fill up quickly, so the county one is the option.

Surely not the place to punish, but rather, a sorting and holding facility. Because no one wants to deal with aggressive drunks, the hospitals don't take them either, it falls on the police.

It also does not help that there were three agencies involved, but I do suspect some of the media are influenced by what they have read in SM.

The shape of the face, the bone structure, the long eyebrows are mom's. The form of the eyes is dad's. Usually childhood pics of the parents tell a lot.

I just wanted to repost what @MyBelle has posted in the previous thread. So true.

BBM. Either this, or they grow up in such abusive families that they think it is the norm. But in general, I agree with your post.
Your post quoted MyBelle as saying "CW at least did the right thing and admitted his guilt to killing SW and their son after he spoke to his father."

I take a bit of umbrage with this. CW never did the right thing. When he "admitted" his guilt to killing Shanann and Nico he did so only in order to accuse Shannan of murdering her baby girls.

He has never done the right thing. And everything he has done has been to cover his own you know what.

I hope that LE and prosecutors have the same success in putting this murderer away as the ones who put CW away did.

Perhaps a lot can be learned from that case. Perhaps this case will be just as successful in putting away the murderer of yet another victimized woman. I'm glad this victim didn't have SM left behind that she is being judged by. She's been spared being dragged through the mud unlike other victims thank goodness.

The situation with CW admitting is complicated. He did, and then he did not. However, did not he mark "C" and "B" on the tank photos for the police?

But this one, PF, will never admit and never say what he did to the body. I hope they find it. I hope the Berrett family will get closure. But as long as it is up to Patrick, we'll hear nothing.

I think the reporter meant what she reported. She likely has a source that told her he’s not talking!
RSBM for focus

Good point, and that is entirely possible. But the article reads:

In a separate document filed by Frazee's public defender, Frazee also refuses medical/psychiatric care while in custody.

These are two of several documents posted online. For a full list, click here.” (BBM)”
New court documents in State of Colorado v. Patrick Frazee

But none of the documents state that. It’s like fact-checking is a thing of the past. Scary stuff.

Have you seen her November 30th post? It gives me chills.
I personally would love to see the detective who administered the poly to CW interrogate this guy. She was masterful.

Initially, I feared this might end like the Crystal Rogers case in KY. She went missing 3.5 years ago, her baby daddy is the prime suspect. Last I heard, he has FULL. Custody of their young son & the court upheld his right to halt visitation with her mom. Interestingly, Crystals father was murdered & remains an unsolved crime. He was found shot to death. The baby daddy has a bro that’s a cop & he was suspended from his position. Iirc, he lied to an investigator working Crystal’s murder. Rumors are rampant he helped dispose of remains.

Haaaaa, we’ve mentioned Tammy a lot.

Unfortunately, PF lawyered up early, and there’s no way in hell they’ll allow him to speak to anyone now, much less Tammy.

He may be stupid, but he’s not insane.
