The same photo shots of the photo of Kelsey and her baby also has a picture of Kelsey, her mom, and the baby. The baby is smiling. You can see so much love in that picture. It is Cheryl's public Facebook profile photo but I wasn't sure if it was ok to link here.

The baby looks like Cheryl in that pic to me. I hope they are finding some joy having her right now, they need something to cling to - I can't imagine not knowing where Kelsey is. Horrible to know she's dead but to not know what he did with her is even more agony. jmo

The situation with CW admitting is complicated. He did, and then he did not. However, did not he mark "C" and "B" on the tank photos for the police?

But this one, PF, will never admit and never say what he did to the body. I hope they find it. I hope the Berrett family will get closure. But as long as it is up to Patrick, we'll hear nothing.

Not going there again. Nothing about that case was complicated. He tried to cover his butt and was caught.

And yeah.... he did mark the oil tanks he dumped his daughters in... one by one.. step by step... dump and dump. Even described the sound. Because he said that was his only choice after their loving mother murdered them. Not.

Moving on.

New topic. New thread. Not going there again. CW is a monster. That case is over and I pray for Shanann, Nico, Bella, and CeCe every day.

This is a new thread and a different case.

Any thoughts on why there was a "hand off" of the baby?

I may have missed it, admittedly catching up. But why weren't they spending the day together?

All jmo

Haaaaa, we’ve mentioned Tammy a lot.

Unfortunately, PF lawyered up early, and there’s no way in hell they’ll allow him to speak to anyone now, much less Tammy.

He may be stupid, but he’s not insane.
Tammy! I forgot her name lol! I may get myself a Tammy t-shirt for Christmas

A little off topic but there are a lot of criminals spending their first Christmas Eve in prison or jail tonight...just imagine what memories they are dealing with. This brings me some solace.

Have you seen her November 30th post? It gives me chills.
And her reply to the second comment from the top under the post. It was posted the day before she reported Kelsey missing. She already had her suspicions, which leads me to believe Kelsey had been confiding in her quite a bit about what her life in CO was like. Purely MOO, but as a mom, I can relate. I wish I could give her a great big hug right now.

Cowboy Pat will hopefully be spending the first of many Christmases behind bars.

That’s a shame.:eek::D

Respectfully, @Johnny1181, you linked @MyBelle’s post that I had linked and said you disagreed with the part about CW. (perplexed emoticon).

To the question as to how they were spending the day and what they planned to do, I have no answer. I think that @Gardener1850 posted a very good summation of what we know about the case so far, it should be in the beginning of the thread, probably the best way to catch up.

IIRC, PF's the source of the "handoff"/custody exchange of the baby story, (other than those who repeated what he said) so I give it zero credence. KB told her mom on the phone that morning that they were having dinner together, and maybe getting a Christmas tree, so I think PF concocted the "handoff" story to support his narrative of KB breaking up with him and taking off, leaving him with the baby...

Thank you! Didn't find that reading through the threads. Makes much more sense

RSBM for focus

Good point, and that is entirely possible. But the article reads:

In a separate document filed by Frazee's public defender, Frazee also refuses medical/psychiatric care while in custody.

These are two of several documents posted online. For a full list, click here.” (BBM)”
New court documents in State of Colorado v. Patrick Frazee

But none of the documents state that. It’s like fact-checking is a thing of the past. Scary stuff.
I see an "insanity" plea in the next week.

Wow. Really? A potential name change also? Maybe to ‘Crazee’!

I think he’s confident she won’t be found & if she is, he thinks his alibi is firm. IMO, he’s in it for the long haul. At least until such time he grasps what his future is.

Hey Johnny, nice to see you! There's a great timeline here: Kelsey Berreth Case: What to Know About the Missing Colorado Mom Last Seen on Thanksgiving Day

That type of thing would be a long way off, and almost never works in general.

The prosecution simply has to prove that he knew what he was doing was wrong.

The coverup effectively cripples his ability to prove that he didn’t know these things.

You don’t coverup a crime, unless you know that you committed one.

His only option is to convince a jury that he didn’t do this, or that he committed a lesser crime.

Good fricken luck with that. :D

I just wanted to repost what @MyBelle has posted in the previous thread. So true.

Domestic violence has absolutely nothing to do with the IQ of the abuser and more to do with their upbringing and how they were parented as children, especially by their mothers. CW at least did the right thing and admitted his guilt to killing SW and their son after he spoke to his father.

The overwhelming majority of abuse victims are women who didn't grow up in a dysfunctional household so they don't recognize the signs of toxicity. They believe the men they fall in love with will be as sincere, genuine and loving as her own dear old dad or brothers so they repeatedly give them second chances. And the abusers quickly grow resentful of her family's influence and especially blame the victim's mother. As a society, domestic abuse, whether it is physical or emotional or both, is a huge problem and it needs to be addressed.

I was responding to the post you made on page 1 of this thread. Not bolded by me. I was disagreeing with last sentence 2nd paragraph

I think insanity and claims of accidental death will be out once they tie the cover up to Patrick.

1st degree murder. Premeditated.

I would have believed a CW insanity plea way before I would PF, of course we don't know the details of what he's actually done to Kelsey - yet.
