Looks like bruising or burns to me and they are perfectly lined up, like he was grabbed by the back of his neck or some type of taser.

I guess PF's mom being there is showing she supports him.
Where are you seeing that PF's mother was there? I haven't seen that unless I missed her in one of the videos.

ETA: Nevermind, I answered my own question. :)

My thoughts on his silence is he's refusing to accept responsibility. JMO

If SF were mentioned in the sealed SW's, which she is at least as title owner of the searched ranchette, was she denied being present because PF was present?

We know nothing about the phone. The purse was described as "brown"; you can see it in the Safeway video.

Often we have different purses, for the occasion.
I have my shopping purse, my 'going out' purse, my casual purse, an evening purse, an all in one purse, where car keys, pencil and paper are attached.
Each has its own purpose: size, content, credit cards, ? requirements.
These can be added to a bag or used alone, depending on occasion.

Mother of Kelsey Berreth comes face-to-face with daughter's 'killer fiance' Patrick Frazee | Daily Mail Online
A grieving mother faced off with the man accused of killing her daughter in a Colorado courtroom on Thursday.

Frazee remained silent throughout the hearing, refusing to speak even during the few times he was addressed by the court.

Shortened for space. Regarding the bold sentence...WOW! That reminds me of how he's been during the entire course of events. Saying nothing. It makes me think of when the reporter was at his fence and PF stared him down. So the judge was addressing PF today directly and PF refused to respond. IMO that is very telling of his personality. Acting somewhere between a toddler throwing a tantrum for not getting his way and a stone cold disinterested personality. If having the opportunity to speak up on behalf of your child doesn't encourage you to speak, nothing will. IMO

It could certainly be though that his attorney advised him not to say anything but you would still think something to the effect of I want what's best for K would be said.

He’s been silent since the beginning. I don’t ever see this changing.

I feel like PF looks different each time I see him.

He looks very different full face and in profile. Full face is good-looking, it is the profile that shows weak chin and general obstinacy.

MOO He has every right to remain silent, however, by doing so he’s done nothing but make himself look guilty. If I was accused of a crime I didn’t commit, I’d be doing everything in my power to prove it and be screaming it from the roof tops to anyone who’d listen. Mind you, (we live in the mountains), the last time my husband was one hour overdue from a hike I was calling everyone I knew getting ready to organize search parties and notify search and rescue. Thankfully huuby showed up before troops deployed! I digress..... The point being, PF couldn’t look much guiltier if he hired a sky writer and declared it on several billboards. PF needs to knock off the bull crap, tell her poor parents the location of KB’s remains, save the taxpayers a drawn out trial and his daughter the future shame of it. MOO MOO MOO

He can't say anything. The People of the State of Colorado - which is the DA prosecutor's office - enjoined the custody hearing and were present. All he might have done is present paperwork. He is correct to maintain his silence whenever The People are present because anything he says will be used against him.

@PrairieWind, what is typical as far the length of time it takes for the court to reach a decision in an emergency custody situation? Just wondering if it will be today or...?
(tapping foot)
From the channel 11 report, it sounds like they did reach a decision. We just have not heard what it is.

It must have been very tense in there. Yikes!

KB was removed from the original docket. PF remained on the docket with also County Dept. Of Social Services and The People of the State of Colorado. CB is not a party.

Enter: 2018

Colorado Judicial Branch - Court Docket Search

Your friend ?
I would expect KB to be listed as a party on the actual case filings since, as far as we know, she has not yet been declared dead. Often, the court's docket sheets will have abbreviated captions of the parties. So I wouldn't at this point make too much of whether KB's name was or wasn't listed on the docket.

Who ever coached him initially told him to remain silent and I agree with @MassGuy he will never talk. The only hope the state has is others talking or evidence they obtain. IMO
