This has bothered me about the paint theory too. I would guess that primer plus paint would be needed to cover blood. I know I have had to use both when covering my child’s drawings in black pen on my walls, so I’d guess you would need the same with blood or other matter. Not only is primer stinky, but there is also usually a wait time between coats. Also, are we saying he was carrying around these painting supplies ahead of time? Were KB’s walls white or would he need to color match? Most places to buy paint/brushes/drop clothes/painter’s tape would be closed on thanksgiving. I know we know this was premeditated because of the solicitation charge, but logistic wise this seems difficult especially with a baby also possibly present.

On a side note, my son is baby Ks age. He’s late September to her October. He has been getting molars in the last few days and has just been miserable. All he wants is me, no one else will do. It breaks my heart for baby K who will be going through the same and looking for KB for comfort.
That's not a lot of square area to paint. A person can paint without drop cloths and if you wash the blood off you can paint over it. Primer is fast drying, you can paint within an hour.

But was he on the birth certificate? The baby has Kelsey's last name...
I thought I'd read he was. I'd be interested in knowing whether he wasn't. It might give me something new to ramble about!

Just wondering if some of PF's YouTube videos have gone poof... I could only see 3 and none of them seemed to contain much of anything but I skimmed them. Can anyone verify if there were previously others posted or still others available that I missed? TIA
JMO ,MOO, etc
I'm still seeing all 5.

Wow, I joined a KB discussion group on FB. Amazing. People are willing to believe anything without proof. Hope none of them sit on a jury!!! LOL
I popped in and then popped out....unjoined. Crazy talk and a waste of time.

THANKS! I changed my post to reflect your correct post info. I don't want to add to the confusion around here.

Do you think the loft is what they consider to be the 2nd bedroom?

Do you know if the bathroom is on the right or left?

Was the shared wall neighbor gone on 11/22 or the whole 4-day weekend?
I think the neighbor left on the 22nd and was gone for three days? Pommy can you chime in?
From what I remember from the pics of the interior the loft was a bedroom and I think the bathroom was on the shared wall. But I'm not certain of that.

A friend of mine here in Colorado has two children with a woman he never married or lived with. He is on the birth certificate as the father but they have her last name. I dont think the baby having KB's last name means anything in terms of paternity being questioned.

IIRC there were five or six, maybe more, when I saw them before he was arrested

ETA: I’m seeing five now, so I think they’re all there.

That is a really good article. There is also a photo of KB's townhome showing it is a duplex and does share a wall with another unit #271. It is inside of an HOA, but I have not seen anything about whether or not it is a gated community with keycard access.

From looking at the zillow.com interior photos, the living room is the left front including the fireplace. The front door is on the left side, between the living room and dining/kitchen, also along the left side. The larger bedroom is in the back. Not sure, but the bathroom is probably on the right side, past the stairs. JMO

ETA: Correcting post per eagle eye @Mom24 - it is a duplex with a shared wall.
No it is not a gated community. On a busier road here in town. Right by the renovated park in town.

I would guess he was? Since he took care of her while Kelsey was at work, it would have made it difficult for him if K needed emergent care. I assumed because of this and that they were engaged, his name was most likely on the certificate, but that hasn't been proven yet.

Renovated park? How has it been renovated and how recently?

Yes!! The fact that it was Thanksgiving. And she was asking her mom for a recipe. And she was last publicly shown at Safeway. Presumably looking for groceries.

Seems to be that there are strong indicators (IMO) that she was going to be making a Thanksgiving dinner contribution.

I’m also obsessed with the fact that they are withholding videos of her leaving Safeway.
I'm not willing to rule out that PF dropped her and the baby at the door, parked the car, and was planning on meeting them inside. It might explain why his car showed up at her home at approximately the same time she returned home from the store. LE might know that they grocery shopped together, maybe for a turkey, and if the item was not located in her home, it may have led them to make certain conclusions. Maybe CB KNEW the plans were that they were preparing dinner at home.

You know what breaks my heart is reading that PF refused to let CB see the baby before his arrest. I just don’t understand that.

That struck me as odd too. IMO PF was afraid the baby would be turned over to authorities if she was not in his hands. Then he had no “protection” from LE.....like using the baby as hostage. The other reason isPF could just wanted to be mean to the other grandparents blaming them for any reason KB wanted to not get married, move back by her family, etc.

I also wonder if KB was giving PF money to help with the farm and dog business or just spending money. It would not be much money but better then nothing. He would not like the money to be stopped. I really am interested in the money situation between the two....time will tell.

If they are withholding the video of her exiting the safeway it could be because what she bought could clearly be seen and it would give us an indication of what that recipe was. Pretty damning for PF's story if Kelsey had a large turkey in the cart.
Or found, at the dump? Just kidding. There's a possibility KB was vegetarian. I agree though, the fact that they didn't release a video of her leaving Safeway is odd.

Money might be the motive. Maybe she had helped him out and loaned him money but now needed that money back and he didn't have the money to pay her back. Might be especially problematic if he had also borrowed money from his family.

What if discarded groceries from that trip were what they found in the dump visit that led them back to the house? Ive always wondered why he would be so brazen with that trip to the dump with blood evidence or paint cans, but if it was something simpler like groceries, he may have thought he could get away with it. MOO

And it’s some twisted irony that the best primer is called Kilz.

Maybe she already knew he was bad news when she was pregnant so she was wise and didn't put him on, so she could easily get away if needed? She'd try to make it work for a while, but like the non-marriage, she could get out swiftly???? JMO

I am wondering about HER garbage. We live about a block away, it comes Friday AM. Wondering if it happened to make it out???? If not, what was in it?!!

I think we are all in agreement that PF is not the sharpest tool in the shed. He does not appear to be a "big picture" person, thinking only in terms of his little world.

there are several paint stores in town. A Sherwin Williams, and a local paint store that is newer and opened on hwy 24. Also a hardware store.
