Is it going to a GJ instead? That’s what status vacated means in my state. I’m not in CO. MOO
Sorry can you explain please?

Yeah.. remember criminals are not very smart some times. He could have been drinking at a bar he may frequent in the area in a small town and the wrong person over heard but knew him and the one he was talking to.. then ran to the cops.. perhaps a few people in the town knew he hated her... and how talked he about her scared them.. I think people are talking in that small town.
...in all honesty, something could have been said in a joking manner that someone misinterpreted, also. As in some guys asking PF why he’d been AWOL, teasing & ribbing, asking if it’s bc of K, etc., and something could have been said that was taken out of context.
I think not. But, idk. We live in a weird world. Things seem to never be what they seem.
Does the solicited person have an axe to grind? Idk

They will turn very slowly here.

I fully expect this case to go on for a couple years.
Yes. He's not going to spill his guts like CW did.

I am going to assume MSM includes Nancy Grace, I was just listening to her webcast and interviews with other judicial experts and she reported that police were watching PF and the two men who were with him at the dump through binoculars. I don't think it doesn't mean that the dump workers didn't report him to LE but it just shows the degree he was under surveillance.
That certainly rings true.

He was clearly on their radar at this point, and I can’t imagine that he wasn’t under some sort of constant surveilance, whether that involved people or GPS.

They had no shortage of resources here, manpower being one of them.

Have you guys ever been to a local rodeo. Yeah its fun. But it ain't no real money in that no more.

The same with traveling fairs and carnivals and circuses.

There's no money left after paying for everything and everyone.

So PF wasn't making no real profit from whatever he was trying to do. Jmo

You hit the nail on the head! My nephew was a national champion team roping header. Big money if you win but it costs a lot in transportation, horses, entry fees, vet bills, feed, etc. Watched film of PF heading at a ranch rodeo and he definitely wasn’t at a level where he could make any money. He had a heading horse listed for $6,500; nice enough little horse but even college heading horses looking at $12 - $15 k to start. Rodeo pros are serious athletes and have an exhausting schedule. Majority are very disciplined; don’t drink much or use illegal drugs. PF not focused or energetic enough to succeed at that level or keep such a vigorous pace

So many scenarios. The guy he tried to solicit could have told someone that went to the cops.. Mass guy is right, this is going to take years... no Watts case here.

1 count of first degree murder, an alternative count of felony murder, and three counts of solicitation of first degree murder.

September 1 is listed as the date of the offenses not a hearing date, and is almost certainly a placeholder as they don't yet know when she was killed and may not have complete info on dates for the solicitations.

But was he dumb enough to dispose of evidence? I highly doubt that.
We’ve been discussing surveillance on another thread/case. People don’t realize the red corvette, green VW, beat up Dodge truck can be FBI or any LE. They are not following in marked vehicles. PF knew that. His bro is a cop. Also, one unmarked car might only follow a suspect to a certain intersection & a dif’ car then picks up the suspect so the red ‘vette isn’t in your rear view every where you go.
Can you tell I love my red corvette, lol.

It seems like the comments they made at the press conference on what would constitute a solicitation of first degree murder charge were to eliminate exactly that kind of thinking. It couldn’t have been some off-hand remark or joke, steps were actually taken that showed he was trying to make it happen.

Took a break to take my daughter to the movies and came back to 20 new pages. After finally catching up, I only have one thing to add. I need a drink!
JMO, MOO, etc

Well, there is a liquor store, we have talked about.
Besides liquor there are probably other items present for you.
But do not go there more than once, as otherwise, we'll create stories about your possible drinking habit.
MOO.

Correct. Imo he was a rancher first. He subsidized his ranching with shoeing horses. He rodeoed for fun.

Running 35 head of cattle does not equate to being a rancher by any stretch of the imagination. Nice image but PF is all hat and few cattle.

I believe criminals are dumb. They do dumb things that the rest of us talk about later and say why would they do something so dumb. Who knows maybe in his mind he figured since the two other guys were getting rid of whatever it was, it was then considered their stuff. If it was as simple as groceries and other junk maybe he figured it would be a good story. Paint cans maybe, who knows. The police did pick up things from the dump. I just truly believe they are dumb. Have personally lived through a murderer planning out a huge scenario that could have come out of CSI and then doing really dumb things. We'll see.

Can any experts weigh in? Could the three counts of solicitation be three separate communications with one person? That could account for the “concrete steps” or whatever was said to be necessary for the charge, if he spoke to one person multiple times.

He knew he was under surveillance and wanted them to pilfer thru garbage is what I think. JMO

Yes, but the solicited person hasn’t been cross examined, either. Defense attorneys can often rip things to shreds.
Idk I’m not saying it happened this way, only saying there’s possibilities. Jmo.

I’m thinking the solicited person is cooperating. Maybe that’s just wishful thinking on my part. God, I’d love it if that person is cooperating.

Very interesting reports coming from Nancy Grace webcast from the other day. Reporter from crime on line and one of her other guests have sources in LE giving them information. Wouldn't be a suprise if LE eventually confirms this. Nancy Grace online. I won't post the info on here since it is only this one news source reporting it, but since it is media it is more than just gossip and speculation, they are saying their sources are retired police, etc who know people in the investigation.

I’m not an expert but I hope they have three provable communications. Not just someone saying he called me on 11/7 & asked.........
Because yes, then a call between them cd be verified but the convo could not. So, how would the “mole” prove what PF said?
If I call you now to order me a deluxe pizza but you get me a pepperoni, I have no proof I told you deluxe.
So let’s hope it was texted communication. Boy oh boy. I can’t imagine ever trusting anyone to that point to send that text.
Has anyone considered maybe he asked his bro for help?
Not implying anything. Just a thought I had.....
MOO X a zillion
