I'm new to this case today as well, and am catching up on all the thread here, but I"m curious if somebody could say in a nutshell - why is there so much discussion about the layout of her house? I feel I'm missed something.

The only reason I can think of, in that instance, is a conflict between mother/daughter . Or, perhaps, Kelsey was in a very dark place. The lack of information is frustrating all the way around and the above scenario goes AGAINT my initial take when the story first broke. I'm just trying to see how all the pieces might fit together. My hinkey meter is still high regarding a person who was a no show at the PC.

ITA that is very odd but that person likely has an alibi for when the texts were sent from Idaho. If not, we might be hearing more about him. JMO

I'm thinking with the fiance's cattle business that he probably needs/prefers to be near the ranch. *shrug*

I wonder if that rancher has his own plane. JMO

Couldn't it also be that she travelled- had an impulse to get out of town, turned her phone off so she wouldn't be hassled, turned it back on just make make a few texts, let work know that she wasn't coming in ( but didn't want to have to talk to ANYONE) and turned it off again? Again, just trying to think of alternatives that fit the narrative of the statement made on FB.

IF a person had an impulse to get out of town AND that person had TWO cars, the most logical thing to do would be to drive one of them, assuming that at least one was in good running condition. And IF that person had just baked some yummy cinnamon rolls, the most logical thing to do would be either 1. take them with her or 2. cover/wrap them up or freeze them for later. Some of these cases do defy logic, but the fact that her cars were at her home tells me that she left with someone else.

That's strange. At the top of my page it says 1 bedroom 1 bath but you are right, down below it says two bedrooms:

I wonder why the discrepancy on the same listing? Perhaps second bedroom is a converted loft area or an office they can advertise as a bedroom? Maybe the septic is only a 1 bedroom but the house has space that could be considered 2? Not that it matters much... It is still only a 742 square foot house-- that's really small for a family IMO.

I guess some of us are pondering her living situation, since she is supposedly engaged to the father of her baby.

She very recently purchased a home. It is very small. Only 700 sq feet, one bedroom, one bath. Not a very 'family friendly' home or yard.

So we are wondering about the purchase. Was it meant for her to live in alone, as she is currently? Or was it an investment property?

It is important because we are trying to figure out her current relationship status, more fully.

Because he is not a suspect or POI.

He is off limits to discuss right now.

Now if at some point, he decides to give an interview we can discuss the interview.

Yes, from the pictures, it is not a very 'kid friendly' home or yard.

That’s the key question, who brought that phone to Idaho.

If it’s Kelsey, then she left on her own.

If it’s anyone else, then she is almost certainly dead and it was brought there to facilitate a coverup.

As for her vehicles, the implication is that they were home at the time that her disappearance was first discovered. I think it’s reasonable to assume that they never moved after that point.

We are allowed to discuss what is reported about him in MSM but cannot make accusations or insinuate that he is involved in Kelsey's disappearance because he has not been named by LE as a POI or suspect. (Per WS TOS) MOO

Well, why will LE tell the world what the TM to the employer said, but not tell the world what the TM to the fiance said???? Why the big secret?
