Not giving me a warm fuzzy feeling.

"It was not until December 2, however, that police searched her home after her mother reported her missing - Patrick did not.

It remains unclear when Kelsey, who is a flight instructor, was meant to collect her daughter from Patrick's home or what the text he received from her said.

He has not made any public appeals for information which could lead to finding her, and his absence was glaring at Monday's press conference.

Asked why he was not there, Miles De Young, Woodland Park Police Chief told one reporter: 'You'd have to ask him.'

Later, he refused to name him as a suspect, saying: 'At this point, he is the father of Kelsey's daughter.'"
Yeah. Not only does that not give off a “warm and fuzzy feeling,” but it appears to be an effort to turn up the heat.

A false ping, lmao! How very very coincidental that a false ping occurred on a missing person's phone! (This is NOT directed at you, Pommy, I am talking about the quote).

After the false ping article, this one came out with a statement from Verizon.

"The same day officers conducted the welfare check, Berreth’s cell phone was pinged near Gooding at 5:13 p.m – over 800 miles from her home in Colorado. Steve Van Dinter, a Verizon spokesman, tells EastIdahoNews.com that the ping would be accurate within a mile of the location coordinates."

Not a mod, but yes The Daily Mail is an approved source.

I thought the lady in green was from the CBI. I could be wrong. MOO
She identified herself as the spokesperson for the CBI. She then introduced the Chief of Police. It sounds like this is being handled similar to the Tibbetts case. JMO

I know, I saw that he was filmed leaving an attorney's office after I posted.

So probably no Tammy and Grahm drilling him for hours. :(

They said he was cooperating at the last presser.

I wonder if that statement will change at the next update?

Cooperating simply means that you are answering questions and being helpful in some capacity.

It doesn’t endorse him, and certainly doesn’t mean that they believe he is being truthful.

It will be interesting to see if things change even more. There is usually a progression of language in cases like this.

Especially as suspicion builds.

There have been no search parties organized for the Idaho area where Kelsey's phone allegedly pinged, nor in the area around the town where Kelsey lived or was last seen, as is often the case with a missing person.

There is no reward, and there are very few details being released by LE.

This usually means LE has a suspect, or suspects, and they are compiling evidence and waiting for the suspect/suspects to further incriminate themselves.

Video of missing Woodland Park woman released by police
Video of the last time Kelsey Berreth was seen in public, on Nov. 22 at a Woodland Park Safeway, was released Tuesday by police and posted on the department’s Facebook page.

In about one hour’s time, the post had been viewed ten-thousand times. Investigators hope the video footage leads to tips in helping them solve the case.

To say he's cooperating is really meaningless. Watts cooperated....and was lying.

Where is the recent ABC video of the reporter trying to interview the fiance'?

I checked with Google maps and the fastest route to Gooding, ID from Woodland Park, CO is 12 hours, 8 min, via I-80 and I-84. That's not a trivial drive, but it could be done on a long holiday weekend. However, I am betting that the Gooding, ID ping was a false ping at this point. (I have been wrong many times so I am not afraid to be wrong again.)

Of course. If he stops answering questions and refuses to take a polygraph though... they might not say he is a suspect still but might apply pressure by saying he is "no longer cooperating".
Doesn't really mean he did anything though, as an innocent person might consult a lawyer and still answer police questions. Hopefully he will keep talking. JMO.

Cousin JoDee Garretson of Pasco says they're grasping at straws, but right now that's all they have to go on.

She says Kelsey's mom and brother are in Woodland Park searching for the 29-year-old mother.

"They're a very close-knit family. That's why I don't believe she'd just..." Garretson paused mid-sentence to wipe away tears. "She's got to see people are looking for her. She wouldn't put them through that."
Pasco relatives pray for miracle as search continues for missing Colorado mother

I don't know if it is up yet but it was a report by Clayton Sandell.

Yes, that's one reason among many that I don't think she left willingly. Or maybe she left willingly, and was then detained unwillingly. I sure would like to see her full cell phone trail. I haven't heard of any organized searches, but I like to think that the authorities are at least conducting a cell phone forensic search and obtaining video from any cameras in town.
I’d like to see her phone trail too. If there is absolutely no phone activity whatsoever from Nov 22 until the “texts” on Nov 25, that would be very bad IMO.

Good point. No one goes dark for three days.

He placed a legal document on the dash as he put the baby into a car seat. It would be interesting to try to zoom in on that frame to see what the legal document says. JMO

If he’s not lawyering up so to speak maybe he was at the lawyer’s office to gain custody.

Hypothetically, if the person some are speculating could be involved actually was, would he set the scene as him being the last person to see her? That’s just anti-alaibi 101 I’d think.. then after that how could this indidvidual think it’s a good plan to transport her phone to IDaho <modsnip - sleuthing family>? That’s a dummy move, no? Then to not show up at the presser raising even more speculation.. it seems like he wants to get caught if that’s all the case. Maybe it’s someone setting him up, or maybe a gone girl scenario. Anything is possible. If our websleuths (jaded) instincts prove to be right... worst. criminal. ever.
Just because someone might work on an alibi and cover up doesn't mean the crime was planned. So I don't think anyone would set himself up to be the last person seen with a missing person....but that's what happened and then it had to be dealt with after the fact. ykwim

Speculation, theory only.

Wow. ABC reporter confronted PF coming out of an attorney's office with the baby. He refused to answer questions. Earlier, the reporter confronted him outside his truck and he told them to get off the property and it was a private road. This case is heating up, imo
At least the baby is ok (I hope). I assume if LE thought the baby was at risk, something would happen in regards to that. They likely can’t do anything at this point. I don’t feel very good about the baby being with the father—don’t know why.

Is there a way to set up automatic text messages to be sent from a phone at a certain day/time?

Quite possible he's afraid Kelsey's mother will go for custody.

Ah HA! I was thinking of posting this, and got distracted before I could type it.

I'm not surprised. Lawyering up would explain his silence.

I found this on glass door for her possible income with this employer.
