I strongly believe that someone else brought that phone to Idaho, but I wouldn’t be shocked if he did it himself.

There is nothing that excludes him from being able to do that, especially with the nature of his job. He could travel to Idaho, and not be missed, especially if he left the baby in the care of his mommy.

I don’t have a good theory as to the robbery charge, as I haven’t heard anything that gives insight as to that possibility.

I’m open to the idea of a financial motivation, but I still think this has to do with child custody.

I know there's been some discussion about the house or some insurance policy from her work, but did HE take out an insurance policy on her? Maybe when the baby was born? Did she? If I were a pilot, I'd have a policy. If there is one, who was listed as beneficiary.

All of this may have been posted before. I just haven't been able to keep up :)

I’ve never heard a word about his relationship with his siblings. Have you? Or Anyone?

Idk even that he “mooches”. I tend to think Mrs. F preferred him to reside with her.

W/o a doubt he has brought shame to his family. Not to mention embarrassment.

Where is his dad? He must be beyond livid. Frankly, idk how a parent can show support for a child in this predictament. Mine would not. I’d be on my own. There’d be no “unconditional love”.

(Sorry, I can’t read every post, RL intrudes)
I have seen some posts by some in his family prior to his arrest, but they are not admissible on here.

We have no information, one way or another.

We’d have a pretty clear motive if we did.

Thanks, MG! I also believe PF's motive is tied to child custody, though not in the same way that many others think...IMO, child custody in his mind is related to $$$ in several ways. Child support payments, possible life insurance, having financial control of survivor benefits that KB's daughter would receive, etc. IMO, the only person on the planet PF loves is himself, so custody of his daughter is not about him loving or wanting to take care of/raise her. ALL JMO.

MG, do you think someone else drove to ID with her phone or do you think it was PF himself? Also, I'm interested to get your thoughts on the 1st degree charge that talks about murder during the commission of a robbery...what are your theories about that? I've always thought that money was one of the root motives for KB's murder, but I imagined it to be more related to child support payments or life insurance payouts vs. robbery.
To me, if someone goes into a place to commit a robbery and someone innocent gets killed, that is murder, but not premeditated (1 st degree). I don't understand this second charge of 1 st degree murder.

Idk. Maybe because baby K is a girl? P has no sister, correct?
I’d like to know what a horse owner in the area pays for farrier work & wait time, etc. as I mentioned last night, for me, it’s like a hair salon appointment. Pay & rebook for 6 weeks out. I just don’t buy into the “broke theory”.
He does have at least one sister. I think 4 kids in his family according to one news article.

Sorry, Pommy Mommy..That was second question I should have posted separately.. my apologies... My 2nd question meaning, when does a missing person case gain national attention? Is it direct involvement through local LE, FBI, or just the family reaching out through FB and local friends 'spreading the word'?
Are you asking when a missing person case gains national attention in the media? Sorry, but I'm not sure what you are asking.

When ones commits an armed robbery, they are doing something that is inherently dangerous.

When death results, it is not a surprising development, hence “felony murder.”

This is usually treated as first degree murder.

Personally, I don't feel she had anything to do with KB's murder. In my theories she is just an enabler. At this point, I figure she feels he's been falsely accused. Enablers will always make excuses for the one they are enabling. With respect to actual evidence, she probably knows as much as we do or less. Although, I do wonder if she couldn't provide some info on PF's whereabouts from Nov 22nd to the 25th, did she watch the baby while PF went out for hours or days? What plans did they have for Thanksgiving, if any. Did she know what PF's plans where that day? Why was he picking up baby K when it was KB's day off? What did she know about the status of PF's relationship with KB? So many questions she could answer. Would LE have questioned her by now?

I wonder if Mrs. F is even able to answer your questions other than T-day plans. If P was set on executing his plan on Tday, I would think he told his mom he’d be getting the baby bc K had other plans. Other than that, I bet he didn’t share much of his itinerary with her. Or his relationship details. Jmo

Robbery - Colorado 18-4-301 C.R.S. Section 18-4-301 (1) of the Colorado Revised Statutes (C.R.S.) ... A person who knowingly takes anything of value from the person or presence of another by the use of force, threats, or intimidation commits robbery. Force or fear is the main element of the offense of robbery.

nooooo, I just cannot think about more vileness :(
I don't agree. If ANYONE went back, there's more possibility for a neighbor seeing, or cameras catching them going back, or people just noticing them. And then why didn't they get rid of the rolls if they went back?!

For LE to have to return to KB’s townhouse a second time before finding evidence, does that indicate that PF did a pretty good job in the murder and removal of her body?

Also, he had to know how to clean up any “residue” there was for LE to totally miss that a murder had occurred in that house.

When they are needed which varies by jurisdiction. It doesn't have anything to do with national attention.

Was it the FBI that carried items out of the condo? I remember the FBI did search there. Tysm

I think LE found the phone in ID. Remember the one news outlet in ID that reported her phone was found but other outlets were unable to corroborate? Add that to the DA's statement (during court proceedings?) about having to ask other LE agencies to remain silent about developments in the case...

And I really like this judge. She seems extremely knowledgeable and well versed and appears to rule based on law and integrity, without bias. I was disappointed to hear her mention another judge would be getting the case sometime in January. Her comment about working with both side's schedules and making herself available was impressive and stood out to me.
(All of my opinions are based on things I heard during the court session today. Not saying I heard everything correctly though.)

It would seem to indicate that he did a pretty solid cleaning job.

It appears that LE knew where to look during the final search.

I would bet you money that he is mean to his mother.

I do, on both accounts.

I’m not convinced that any girlfriend was the motive for the murder, or that she had any involvement, but I do think that one exists.
Hmmmm...gotta think about this. Maybe she is a nice person, helping LE. Not at all like CW girlfriend. Wow, I don’t even remember her name, which is a good thing.

No I would not think a girlfriend is a motive as he was not married. I do hope she had no involvement with the cell phone and the texts. I hope she doesn’t even live in Idaho. And if a gf exists, I am sure she wants anonymity.

I still wonder if he didn’t just take the cell phone to Idaho himself but if he did, how did the LE locate it? I think they did even though we don’t know for sure.

It has leaked in twitter world and FB land.
so maybe a new GF realized what went down and is terrified.
I could be way off base..but what if new GF (if there is one) was in the dark on everything, and then...finds a phone...and turns it on...sees who it belongs to...freaks out and turns it off...but not before it already pings on a tower.
That could be completely wrong...but can you imagine....

Welcome to Websleuths, peach3s!

Thanks for your information on farriers in PF's general area. Do most farriers have to travel long distances? Do most farriers advertise, or do they get work by referrals/word-of-mouth? Thanks in advance!

I live in the Deep South in a rural area. There are plenty of farriers and I have a hard time believing my guy makes 92 k even gross. He travels about 25 miles to do 4 horses for me - trim only (so less $) . He is mild mannered and the horses act in kind. My previous farrier was a little nervous and one my horses gave him a really hard time. I had to switch farriers for that reason. I never get my horses done w/o me or my husband there. I don’t think I would have put up with PF as a farrier and down here at least a reputation matters.

That may simply be protocol when transporting a prisoner.

I think so too. So all heck can’t break out in a tight space. A shackled/cuffed person can still create havoc. IMO
I’m sure they tell him “face to the wall” each time they load in the elevator. Almost like he’s in a cattle chute.
