There's two sides to this story for sure. PF's side is they broke up a year ago, if what he said to the neighbor is accurate. The Berreth's side is they were still together and making plans. If he was able to live both of those lives he truly is diabolical, so killing her would be really nothing for someone like him. IMO
Actually there's at least three:
1. he told T that they broke up 1/2018
2. he told someone that then told KB's aunt that they broke up on 11/22/2018
3. through his attorney, he stated the relationship was good

Didn't the judge mention something about there being over a thousand text messages? I have to watch that again, I was sitting in a car waiting for my daughter when I saw it but I remember there was mention of a lot of text and email messages as evidence. That should be very interesting. Imo
Catching up. The judge was addressing the defense motion to preserve ALL of the LE investigation correspondence saying that it was an overly broad request involving potentially thousands of texts and emails. She suggested they file another motion with a more limited scope. iirc

please forgive if this has already been discussed or I am losing the plot here.

if the plan was to make it look a robbery has there been any mention of things being disturbed eg; drawers left open things thrown around etc?

was there any clear and accurate info as to where K was? mum or dad at that precise time as dad was there to pick up or leave K with mum?

According to Kelsey's family, nothing was missing or disturbed when they went to check on her Dec 2nd.

Kelsey was last seen on TG day at Safeway with her baby around 12 -12:30. That's the last time she has been seen.

Didn't one of Kelsey's neighbors state she often saw his truck there overnight? I'd have to look through. Hard to state the answer to the dairy farm without breaking TOS, but let's just say that if hypothetically the LS owns a dairy farm, then he would lease a bull from someone for his cows, and LS stated that he leased a bull from Frazee. That Frazee has a bull doesn't necessarily mean he has a large number of cattle, most people who lease out a bull don't have a large herd (which was what I was responding to from a previous poster who seemed to be making an assumption that because Frazee had a bull he must then also have "many cows"). I was shorthanding a response, something I need to stop doing! :)
Edited to add: I've looked through the timeline articles and I can't find the one I was looking for. I did find one where a neighbor said that she saw Frazee coming and going from Kelsey's home often, and maybe I made the jump to "spending the night". I'm retracting that sentence since it looks like I made an assumption.
I don't think the neighbor said he saw it overnight. I thought he said he saw it often and assumed he was living there. Maybe he just noticed it there often whenever he came to pick up (Or drop off) the child. Didn't Kelsey also have a red truck? Maybe he confused the two.
At any rate they did not seem to have court ordered visitation. So he could have gone there at any time to see or pick up the baby.
I can imagine after a year or so they could have run into problems and disagreements about who is spending time with the baby and when.
I wonder what issues they had and how they dealt with them.

Wow, if this article is correct they had been broken up since New Year’s Day 2018. Almost a year. What then could have been a motive? Child support? I hate to say it but without a body they better have a lot of decent DNA to rely on. That and good reliable witnesses regarding him soliciting KBs murder.

also from same CNN article:
Murder charges filed against man in case of missing Colorado mom - CNN

Frazee was at Freeman's home two days before his arrest, she said. She recalls him being concerned about what would happen to Kaylee if he was arrested, she said. Freeman said Frazee told her he felt "railroaded" by police, who he claimed seemed to be focused only on him.
.....snip for space...
Levi Snare said he went through 4H with Frazee when they were children, and he leases a bull from Frazee for his cows. Frazee kept to himself, Snare said, but could hold a conversation when engaged.
"I've known Patrick for a long time, and it doesn't seem to me like he could do that," Snare said. "You're innocent until proven guilty and so people on Facebook who don't even know Patrick need to keep their mouths shut."
Frazee never spoke poorly of Berreth, said Ginger Bruvold, owner of Outpost Feed and Ranch Supply in Florissant where Frazee was a customer. His daughter was always with him and she was always well behaved and appeared to be cared for, Bruvold said.
"I have nothing negative to say about him or his family," Bruvold said. "They are good, honest, hardworking people who have been in this community most of their lives."

I have seen several witnesses say that the baby was with him a lot. Maybe it was not only his mom, but he himself, that wanted custody of her. He seems pretty attached to her. JMO

New here to commenting. I have been keeping up with the posts. Is it possible her computer was taken? A computer would possibly had lots of info. her searches, emails etc.
Good thought! Welcome.

Forgot about the "relationship was good" comment through his attorney!

I remember that book! I agree, I think PF probably resents his own mother and no doubt resented KB for getting pregnant and being a successful woman. If it should ever be proven that KB was pregnant again, that would really have put him over the edge. I wonder if he thought he could control little K, since he couldn’t control his mother or KB?
Oh my, a blast from my past! I read that book too! Helped me make some kind of sense of what I was going through at that time. Funny though, my ex and I get along great now. He has no control over me.

Many years ago there was an interesting book written by
a psychologist called:
"Men Who Hate Women and the Women Who Love them"
The author discussed this personality type as someone
who "needs" women for his own purposes, uses but really
can't stand the women. He doesn't take well to correction, criticsm or disagreement from the women. When he's
crossed, it's not pretty.
They NEED Women but HATE them.

Author may need a sequel, we've got some case studies this year! I remember that book.

Thanks, yes I remember seeing that now. Thinking aloud then it could hypothetically have been Kelsey's phone and/or purse, engagement ring, what else anyone? It couldn't be baby K as that would have been kidnapping. Hmmmmm
Probably only the phone or purse, who knows, maybe her clothes were taken to Idaho to throw off investigators.

The IMO stands for In my opinion. The police are probably (and the press) talking to his neighbors. IMO
I see, thanks. It was probably the "according to a neighbor" that threw me.

Putting on my conspiratorial hat here-
Seeing the comments from the grandmother who's child played
with KB's daughter, and the grandmother saying PF told her
he had broken up w/ KB Jan., 2018- maybe PF was cheating
w/ grandmother's daughter and that's what he told her. That He
was free of KB way back then. Whenever this guy lies, it's for a
reason.

MOO, I truly feel that the motive started out as being purely about finances. I think PF had years and years of "hidden" income and if there was going to be a custody battle at any point, doesn't matter when it was scheduled, his income would need to be disclosed, tax returns (if filed) etc.

Whether PF had illegal sources of income or not it, hiding money from the IRS and the fear of going to prison may have been enough to get the ball rolling on the premeditation. I don't know if this was mentioned before or not, it's just a hunch.

Guys like this (narcissists) don't buy engagement rings. They don't even buy gifts. I doubt he even ever proposed.

I had wondered too, but assumed that would be an item her brother would have first looked for?

Welcome! :)

so if the baby was with mum at that time, why would robbers just take a few items, kill mum and then leave the baby? there has been no mention that the baby was found there.

if the baby was with dad then it would be the strangest robbery to kill someone and then just take those few items and nothing else and if it was by accident. either way why take the body and at this point hide it so well.

Welcome, didyouhearme!

Re: the ring, you make some great points. Apparently, PF did claim that he and KB broke up on Thanksgiving....IMO, if PF does have her ring, perhaps he intended to use the break-up story as the explanation for the fact that the ring was back in his possession? Food for thought, for sure.
Don't believe PF said they broke up. It was her cousin.

Yes, even before we witnessed him carrying the baby around all the time, according to what we have read, he brought her to work with him too. He also took her to rodeos. I think he was very attached to her. Imo

I do believe MsBetsy has cleared up the "truck there overnight." It makes sense that if a neighbor thought PF was living there, that his truck would be there overnight. That must be where that came from.

I am glad we learned there is a bull. I'm not sure what direction that leads me, but I have wondered about it. I have a friend who used to raise cattle (still does, but is retired and just keeps enough for personal/family use). He still has a bull.

I have wondered if one of the warrants was for the phone of someone - some connection - in Idaho who hasn't been named yet. The news reports said "warrants." Plural

Welcome to Websleuths, @seasky. :)

Jumping off your post, it's possible that the brother wasn't looking for anything other than personal items and clothing missing. At that time, there was question as to whether she had taken off voluntarily to visit her relatives, so he might not have noticed if something other than clothing, a suitcase or personal items like a toothbrush, makeup, etc, were missing. After they had sorted out that her clothes, suitcase and personal items were still in the home, they might have looked around more and noticed some items of value were missing, jewelry, antiques, paintings, etc. She may have owned a small safe and that was missing, or some inherited piece of jewelry. My husband just said that probably the reason he took her everywhere was because she was a 'babe magnet.' It's like taking a puppy with you, all the women will stop and say AWWWWW....gives him a chance to hit on them.
