And KB's family and loved ones. The ripple effect is horrific. And he especially robbed their daughter. IMO

They usually have cameras that photograph the checkout line. Either what she bought might have clues or it may be that they just do not think that is relevant. This is still up in the air. I see two likely possibilities here:
That video clip was specifically selected because they wanted to show Kelsey’s appearance.
Or
The remainder of that video contains evidence that they don’t want released.
Yeah. I’m sure that store is covered with cameras, and the parking lot as well. They usually have cameras that photograph the checkout line. Either what she bought might have clued or it may be that they just do not think that is relevant.
And often the parents are narcissists as well which would explain the deprivation.RBBM
Agreed, 100%. Adding to this, their primary caregivers provided monetary support to make up for their lack of care giving. In PF's case, he was living with Mommy.
I've run into other narcissists whose parents bought them homes and other comforts, thus enabling their bad behavior.
JMVHO.
Can a DA produce a theory of cause of death to a jury without a body?
I would really like to know her cause of death. To this day, I wonder how Laci Peterson died. I think most people thought he strangled her. I always hope the deaths are quick, if there is such a thing in a murder case.
In your opinion, if the or one of the people solicited was cooperating with police, would that be a reason for no arrests/plea deals/etc.?
IMO, the FBI will be called when a crime is believed to have been committed in more than one state.
I initially thought they were involved because this may have been a kidnapping/abduction.
Sometimes local LE is required to contact the FBI. “here come the suits”.
How horrific. The more I read about PF the more I'm sure he's capable of anything.
Maybe he gave the person/persons free range and said do whatever you want, just make it look like a robbery gone wrong?
He's evil.

Yeah I agree.IMO Frazee has done a lot of work to muddy the facts, including making sure Kelsey's trail was headed to Idaho. He told people they had broken up, he told different times of the breakup, but he told people after she disappeared that they had broken up. He made sure he was seen with the baby, at work, to look like a devoted dad imo. Meanwhile we know now that he was soliciting people to murder her and he must have been planning what to do with her body, how to hide her so she'd never be found. Given that the phone was sent to ID, it would make sense that he planned to dispose of her in a different direction. I tried to research to see what a killer typically does, how far is the usual distance he disposes of a body, but I can't find anything. I would guess it would be less than the 800 miles to Twin Falls ID and it must have been done fairly quickly.
So if he travelled to ID to dispose of the phone and if he disposed of her before he headed to ID, where in the general vicinity would he have disposed of her? Are there any abandoned mining shafts within an hours travel time?
I know some have postulated that he could easily dump her out of his car and down a ravine, so what roads would lend to that kind of terrain, with little traffic so he wouldn't be noticed?
He seems to be quite certain that her body won't be found, so he must have disposed it of somewhere that would be nearly impossible to get to. Again, all JMO.
I think there are likely numerous remote locations he could have disposed of the body. I don't think he travelled to Idaho, at least not anywhere near where the phone was found. I just think it would have taken too long for him to have explained his being gone that long. So many people would have known he went somewhere for a couple of days.IMO Frazee has done a lot of work to muddy the facts, including making sure Kelsey's trail was headed to Idaho. I am still getting caught up on this thread, but this post gave me chills. KB paying for her own murder? *shudders*
I didn’t take your comments as criticism of CB at all. I was just using your quote about her hair to undo my own damage by originally bringing up CB’s comment about Kelsey’s hair again in my own previous post wondering if she might have been withdrawing money at the ATM at Safeway. Lol.
I don’t think her hair style was relevant. I only mentioned it because IF there had been any truth to CB’s comment, it worked with my perp demanded Kelsey make a cash withdrawal at Safeway theory (suggesting the trip to Safeway was not planned by Kelsey...she had not done her hair as her mom said she normally does before planned errands).
But I regret making the comment now, because the hair bun topic, much like the cinnamon bun topic, seems to take on a life of its own...![]()

I do know that many killers put the body somewhere that they are familiar with. He must have been very familiar with the land around him. He probably had his pick of dozens of good spots. Imo
Yeah I agree.
The premeditated nature of this crime, coupled with the fact that he attempted to mislead the investigation, makes it likely that he had a plan for her body.
He thought this through, atleast to an extent.
I think that the reason that he didn’t care if he looked guilty, was because he never thought a case could be made against him.
A major part of that, was likely a feeling of security as far as law enforcement never finding her body.
No body, no criminal charges, atleast in his mind.
Wrong!
I still wonder if they moved so fast with the arrest because they got wind he was going to flee. Not fact, just a hunch.I think you are right. Maybe, he thought it would take LE longer to arrest him and he had longer to arrange things but with the quick arrest that changed those plans. I think they erred on the side on the child's safety and moved quicker than he had planned.
Sadly, where he lives is remote in all directions with many empty mines and burn scars of the forest. He had way more than dozens of places to hide the body... or toss her off a cliff 1000+ feet down.![]()
Wow. So I guess I should change that to he likely had hundreds of perfect spots he knew of to put the body.Sadly, where he lives is remote in all directions with many empty mines and burn scars of the forest. Especially if she was buying Pillsbury cinnamon rolls...or ingredients to make homemade ones. I've been wondering if the cinnamon rolls where made AFTER she went to the store, that they were the reason or part of the reason she went to Safeway in the first place. They would therefore be proof that she had not willingly disappeared. She had just recently bought what she needed and then she made them. Why walk out and abandon them to go cold? And why make them at all if she was handing Baby K over to her father for a few days. I'm betting she would not eat the entire batch herself, and made them partially for the baby. They usually have cameras that photograph the checkout line. Either what she bought might have clues or it may be that they just do not think that is relevant.
I'm not even sure they are searching, are they? Although they must have received plenty of tips.Has anyone heard an update on any search efforts?
