I'm so confused. Sam named the same name as the KMTV article and said he spoke to her on the phone:

Then a reporter from KMTV claimed that KC wasn't their source (even though above article makes it sound like she was the source):

Most likey they are doing it so that he cannot profit from a book or TV appearances. Similar to SW's family filing.

This is good business sense by KB family. Just as Sharon Rocha filed against SP, one must remember PF is innocent until proven guilty, and therefore rules pertaining to not profiting from his alleged crime do not apply, yet.

This is a different article, and it didn't name anyone.

See my screenshots in post #887. They definitely named the same friend's name. I guess they attributed info to her (KC) that she didn't say and it had to be removed? I wish the press would get their act together. I'm doubting their "sources" now. JMO.

Points:
I changed name to IN.

Hansen High School is close to Twin Falls in Idaho...not Colorado so unless she transferred, she did not go to high school with PF.

High school friend may still be a friend, but if not and only a friend from back when they were 15-18 (now 32?) that's a a while ago to make a statement like that. Though, I agree, IN could still have an amazing family.

the reporter that said KC was not the source works for KKTV, not KMTV.

EDIT: I switched the tv stations... the reporter works for KMTV ...not KKTV

i guess if this wrongful death action is allowed to proceed before any criminal trial takes place that PF would be compelled to answer questions during the discovery phase. that in itself would present an interesting situation as far as if any of that info would be available to prosecutors in the criminal case.

We don't know the circumstances surrounding the pregnancy and we don't know if the relationship was unstable at that point. For all we know it was Kelsey who grew tired of PF and was just sticking around for the sake of her child, trying it make it work the best she could. Maybe she just "tolerated" him. Jmo

I do hope that if evidence of his guilt begins to stack up and there is little hope of him getting off that he may consider a plea deal. I think he is still banking on being able to get off on reasonable doubt and won't even consider a plea until all hope is lost. MOO

What is the date we first heard of IN?

I believe that was in the Nancy Grace podcast of 12/26. There was a mention that LE was aware of her before Christmas, that she had been interrogated by LE and was cooperating.

looks like there are 2 different stories out there. One from KKTV (out of Colorado) and one from KMTV (out of Idaho). I don't know if they are the exact same articles, but the reporter that tweeted Sam to say that it was not their source, works for KMTV.

I also think that the high school friend is just that, and only confirmed the high school she went to and has no current knowledge of what is going on. I think there are other "sources" giving information about IN being investigated. JMO
