Forgive me if this has been theorised and I missed it.

What if PF did the deed that day (he hadn’t been successful in recruiting an accomplice). He’s visited by one of his long-standing/long-distance Friends-with-Benefits. He knows she would do anything for him. She knows what an awful time he’s been having with this witch of a fiancée.

He comes to her in pieces. “Oh baby, I’ve done something terrible. I can’t even tell you, you’ll hate me, you’ll never want to see me again.”

“No PF, nothing you’ve done would make me hate you. I love you, I want us to be together.”

He tells her. Says it was an accident/crime of passion, knowing she’ll help him clean up so he won’t go to prison and they can at last be together.

Just theorising.

Been following this case but haven’t posted before so hope I’m following the rules. And trying to learn the acronyms!

I believe LE went back to KB’s place 2nd time with clear purpose. It was right after PF dropped “stuff” at the dump. Possibly LE retrieved PF’s tools and/or paint cans from the dump, which helped connect important dots. PF doesn’t strike me as thoughtful person who can connect the dots, thus he would try and get rid of tools or other items that contain KB’s DNA.

Don’t want to think this, but it is possible any tools LE retrieved from the dump were used by PF for “cleaning up” and to cut body parts. These tools would then have DNA on them and would possibly suggest to LE where to look inside KB’s townhouse.
Of course this is MOO.

Welcome srg, for your first post.:):)
Hope to see more from you.
I agree, things in the dump perhaps alerted LE to check out Kelsey's home thoroughly.
MOO.

Unless some stuff was hidden somewhere away from the obvious property, then dumped to try make it look like it's just a normal dump run. They had to hide evidence somewhere. Then desperately try to get rid of it before they came sniffing around wherever it was hidden.
Something was in there that led them back to KB'S.
I have a feeling more arrest are coming.
Moo

AoA, you think the dump run precipitated the second search? I don’t. I think a more thorough search was in the works based on info from a witness. Jmo

The cars. It’s like they just couldn’t find a way to deal with that one and so thought. ‘Oh well, hopefully people will think she was so distraught that she wasn’t in her right mind and started walking to Idaho.’

JMO

I wouldn’t, personally, notice if my neighbours’ cars weren’t moved for a month. Maybe it’s because in the South of England we try to avoid our neighbours, whereas in the US you guys are a little more sociable!
Exactly! And how many cars were there during all this suspected cleanup? PK's truck, maybe even KK's vehicle. 10 days is a long time though. Do we know for sure that her vehicles did not move at all during this time?

Exactly! I’m new, my first post as matter of fact! But please stay *mustloveco*!!!

Welcome Thunderdog, Thanks for your lovely first post.:):):)
I was being a smart a--, and now feel I hurt mustloveco, with my joke.:(
Including a request from a first post, must encourage mustloveco to reply.

No, we don’t. I’m assuming no one moved her cars. I think the murderer/s had enough to deal with w/o leaving prints, dna in her cars.
I’ve only found one msm report about a neighbor seeing two red trucks on T-day, one assumed to belong to PF.

I read the post as you were clearly joking, perhaps try to message them privately?

Safeway has two entrances. She may have left by a different door that didn't have a good view of her.
That Safeway has gas pumps and also a Wells Fargo branch inside, and a pharmacy inside. There would be ATM machines, not sure if indoors or outdoors. JMO they have excessive cameras everywhere, inside and outside.

Yes. I should have clarified, I think she was beaten to death with a blunt object.

This would explain that final search, and the fact that a ladder was brought in.

I think they found blood high on the walls/ceiling.

Y'know, if it were absolutely anyone else on the planet, I would argue that there's no way a person who took months carefully plotting and planning the murder would arrive at this as their master plan, given the complicated and messy clean-up it would involve.

However, this is PF we're talking about, so yeah...I can see it.

It boggles the mind.

The only part of his plan that appears to have worked (so far) is the concealment of KB's body. I haven't given up hope that she will be found. Because, again, this is PF we're talking about.

JMO.

Interesting thanks! I've been wondering about those pink handcuffs he's had on.

Below is a statement from the article you have referred to:
So I guess we will hear more about DV and PF.
Yuk.
The more we hear, the worse it gets.
No wonder this creep has nothing to say: LE will say it all.
MOO.

"The only people who get the privilege of wearing them are suspects with more than five DUIs or anybody that's committed a domestic assault," Seefeldt said.

I'll be surprised if a plea is offered in this case.
As @MassGuy pointed out, the DP in CO has little bite, and recent electees are all for abolishing it altogether. I think most CO DAs would happily offer a plea for life in prison w/o parole in exchange for taking the DP off the table. But I think most CO defense attorneys would now advise against it. I know CW and his attorneys took that deal, but the fact his sentencing hearing happened on election day was not a coincidence. Not one bit.

What, did the guy sit glued to the tube for months binge-watching movies on the Lifetime channel to help him brainstorm?

It makes me really wonder what the status of KB/PF relationship was Sept-Nov. if he was hell bent on murdering her, why did he not drive her out to a mountainous area on a sight-seeing excursion or take her riding on a rogue horse? Would KB not get in a car with him or “date” him? I’m not saying if he had pushed her off a cliff he would get away with it but imo, his chances would be better than allegedly murdering her in her own home. Jmo

Does PF have a history of DUIs? Tysm
Also, your quote is in reference to a Maryland officer or does it apply in CO?

I think he was bent on making it look like she left him.

If IN had stepped foot in KBs home, here’s hoping they find a very long blonde strand of hair somewhere. Maybe bathroom drain?!

I don’t know. I wanted to look but it seems you need a login to search Colorado court records. (I could be wrong, I just did a quick glance.) side note, Idaho court records are publicly available.

Oh, I would fit right in :p

I spend all day chit chatting with patients- which I love- but once I get home I’m ready to turn off.

I recognized that my neighbors were gone over Christmas but it never occurred to me to wonder if something happened, etc.
