I keep finding myself thinking about how a man used to roping cows could overtake someone KB’s size so easily. She didn’t stand a chance

Even if dogs alerted to it, it still wouldn’t be enough to determine that she was definitely dead, and killed in that house.

I agree though, I’ve long thought she was beaten to death.

I've wondered if she has strangled to death and then dismembered in the shower to make removing her less obvious.

Unless their was a significant amount of blood found, I think they found something else to cause them to be sure that she’s deceased. You can bleed, heavily, and not be dead, KWIM?

I really think blunt force trauma to the head, with brain matter found. I think they probably either found the weapon used, with evidence on it, or splatter. I say brain matter because they would for sure know she was dead, if brain matter was found.

Does anyone know if a dog hitting on a scent would be enough to declare her dead? I wouldn’t think so, but I’m not sure?

This is true because the ID ping info came out before PF was arrested. They would have had plenty of time to come up with a plan.

They could have come up with the best plan in the world, but the second that KK was stuck in an interrogation room with investigators from the FBI, this plan would have come apart.

She would have probably seen the writing on the wall at that point, and divulged all that she knows.

She would have been presented with an opportunity to save herself, and do the right thing.

People like her, generally jump at an opportunity like this.

She would have talked.

We dont know for sure but if I am not mistaken he was arrested shortly after that evidence was taken out.

ETA Or was he arrested before her homes last search where we saw evidence being taken out? We know the dump run happened before he was arrested. We know her home's search was close to the arrest but now I cant remember if it was before or after his arrest?

Oh dear. You just reminded me of a murder that took place among some dysfunctional relatives I rarely see. The perp told someone I know well that he learned how to kill someone without making a sound a number of weeks before victim was found dead, with blunt force trauma to the neck. Chilling. Case will go to trial this year. Another stupid man.

As to motive, imo, IF KK is involved in the planning, the commission or the cover up, the PF/KK relationship is the motive. Moo
And, imo, KK would not be involved IF she did not wish to continue a relationship with PF.
Is it possible, thru the years, KK assumed she would be married or living with PF? I think so.

I don’t have an opinion to this. Not that it matters, lol.
I think lying & denying at the onset of an investigation to be normal. Human nature, maybe. Mixed with fear, etc.
I’m thinking....if I just shoplifted a mascara, made it home, etc., the police show up & ask, I think I’m going to first off say “NO, I paid for it”, after I change undies, I might reconsider. I just don’t know.....
I can understand people lying. Otherwise, dial 911 & have LE you in at the scene.
A nurse is able to handle stress, IMO.
Maybe, if a person takes a poly, then told they failed, they change their story. Idk. Every case is dif.

Typical problem with a fast-running thread. People skim and miss the detail.. Kelsey cctv sighting at Safeway was on 22 November. The cctv for IN at Sonic as released by ABC tv was on 24 November - TWO DAYS LATER.

So where was she staying at from arriving in Woodland Park until at least Nov 24th? I don't want to think, she stayed possibly at KB's home ....?

If PF wished KB dead, IMO, it’s in the realm of possibilities he could persuade someone to help. Speculating here.....maybe a woman that wanted to be his cowgirl.
So, if a relationship was not his motive, he could still lead her to believe there’d be happy trails ahead, if only she’d help, imo. If such a person exists, she might have vacillated between having PF and not having PF, eventually deciding she could not live without him & agreed to help.

I doubt she stayed at KB’s duplex. She would need lights at some point, I’d think. That’d be more obvious to people that K was home (even if not K). With K’s vehicles in the drive, interior lights would not be unusual, tho.

Here’s the thing.....IF she’s singing, blaming PF, is he not doing the same, blaming her?
I’ve watched a few trials with co defendants, seems blame is the name of the game.
In this case IF another person was in attendance & knows the details, he/she knows exactly what the other knows.
What a large mess for the DA.

I don't think PF would have allowed KK to stay there, unless he wanted to pin a murder on her. He really needed her to plant the phone and the lead that KB had taken off to visit her family. (and maybe to dispose of the phone & purse & maybe other stuff)

Too much of her DNA, her fingerprints for LE to find.

I dont' think KK was ever at KB's place. IMHO
