You're assuming he knows. What if he had no idea KK came to WP over Thanksgiving? PF handed over his cell phone, gave a DNA swab, and his first attorney had spoken to LE. Then PF has said nothing. Now I will admit the whole situation does not make PF look innocent of murder - but if the pillars of the murder charges are the word of IN alone who had KB's phone and sent the texts.... there is a problem.

What evidence specifically shows PF committed the murder?

They have enough that they charged him! There’s no way on earth they did so based on INs word alone. Warrants aren’t issued on finger pointing.

But could they have been based on his phone, computer, etc...things she feasibly could have used? We do not know what the basis for the charge is. Just thinking from his lawyer’s standpoint.

Not if this is true and actual news...instead of “sources”. I meant like the sherrif. I don’t believe any other source on this case.

That would be a leak, as it’s not coming from the DA.

And the DA isn’t going to speak until it’s in relation to charges being filed.

That’s a huge deal in law enforcement, especially in high profile investigations.

She hasn’t been charged with anything yet.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - UPDATE 1/8/19:
New details emerged in the case against a man accused of murdering his fiancee in Colorado.

Sources revealed to 11 News sister station KMVT in Idaho and CBS that Patrick Frazee allegedly asked Krystal Lee more than once to murder Kelsey Berreth. It is all tied to three counts of solicitation against Frazee. A source told KMVT and CBS News that the solicitation charges involve Lee.

Lee was crowned rodeo queen in Idaho more than a decade ago. Now she's being investigated by the FBI and CBI for her possible involvement in the murder of Kelsey Berreth. It is still unclear what connection Lee has with Frazee.

KMVT confirmed that Lee, a 32-year-old nurse, is on a leave of absence from the hospital where she worked. Court records indicate she got divorced in 2016. Family friends say she and her ex-husband have two children.

Berreth's body has yet to be found as the case against Frazee moves forward. The investigation documents about the case are sealed to the public.

This is just breaking. It is backed up by a local outlet and CBS news (haven’t seen anything from CBS though).

It also cites the information as coming from law enforcement “sources.”

It’s tough to gauge the lack of Twitter buzz, as it’s late, and hasn’t gone national yet.

If this story hasn’t blown up by tomorrow morning, then I’ll be worried.

It rings true.

I'm guessing LE is hoping to find KBs phone, if they don't already have it, and other evidence that can be used against her. They don't want to charge her too soon if they don't have the evidence yet.

I’m not saying she killed Kelsey, but if she knew about it, and helped with the planning and coverup?

ETA: The fact that she was solicited, indicates that she knew what was going to occur, or at best, knew what had occurred when he told her to dump Kelsey’s phone.

It is possible that it was said in a way that she never took him seriously and they were somewhat joking about it? It's only after finding out that Kelsey is missing that she realizes what may have happened and she comes forward and maybe she is fully cooperating with LE. She may have told them the 3 scenario's that PF told her... those may be their working theories right now.

I don't know how this explains the dang phone though... I don't know how she takes the phone on the 25th and doesn't realize right then and there what is going on.
