I'm a little doubtful it's KB, only because why drive so far to barely even leave the paved road?

That abandoned building looks like it's maybe a 'flophouse" or something? Drug house? (Boy, I'm getting old when I can't get the lingo right!)

Stash House?

A

Yes, @retiredrickyinCO pano shows a white flatbed truck (or maybe Western hauler) with a gooseneck trailer attached. He can pull just about anything with this truck. I was interested in whether this was a water tank or a septic tank (although this might be too big). Could it be a septic tank to replace whatever was in that big hole? Or do people bring these in to capture extra water, maybe for the livestock.

That looks like a water tank. I certain areas where I live people haul water if they don't have a well or public access to water. Not saying this is the case there (at their home) but it's possible he hauled water to wherever his cattle are.

Just FYI ...about 2 hours from WP

I was hoping for closure for her parents but i doubt it is KB, it doesn't make sense with the cellphone ping. It would wreck PF's story- ie on her way to grandma's who knows what happened. It is in the opposite direction and the body too easily found when there are so many other options. JMO

I also think things went wrong. So far the “plan” seems like 3-4 plans spliced together. Robbery, her missing after leaving on a trip, but cars still at her house, etc. MOO

There appear to be several plans in place.
This similarly occurred with Watts.
Perhaps these Creeps devise a plan, with other factors in place, in case further points do suggest a feasible explanation. ie. several eggs in the one basket.
However we find broken eggs.:D
MOO.

Can I just say if I owned 35 acres, I would feel it was huge! I would love to own a ranchette. Wouldn’t hurt my feelings one bit for someone to call it whatever they wished. And 35 acres in CO would be fabulous! If only...
Same. Living in a state where everyone guards every laser measured, fenced in Inch of property..35 acres? huge.

35 acres would be overwhelming for alot of people. Like me.

I think 35 acres is enormous.
I'd get lost.
Sure different than walking around my city block with my dog.
She would be ecstatic.

Agreed. If there is one thing I am confident in, it’s that PF did a solid job of concealing Kelsey’s body.

He may have screwed everything else up, but that aspect he was well equipped for.

He had months to plan what to do with her, and days in which to actually do it.

I hope it turns out just as well as it did for CW for PF!

Yes that is what I meant! Thank you! And also we should await official news reporting that PF’s father died and when that might have happened!

Thank you for replying! I don't like to assume what people are trying to say so I got nervous! LOL

Also, I do agree we need to verify if in fact PF's father has passed away. It will definitely provide some important insight on his psyche. IMO

It’s almost certainly not her.

Twitter would be blowing up right now if there was the slightest chance that it was Kelsey.
ITA. This happens in almost every case I've followed. Don't get excited until the autopsy is complete. MOO

Sadly, I agree.

JMO - I agree.

I thought that might be the case. Amazing how different ranching can be from one area based on amount of rainfall, soil type, and temperatures.

Jmo in many cases I have followed here, which is lots...that term seems to get assigned by posters to any man who kils his wife or girlfriend...and once in a while, vice versa...
Well, I'm going to take a shot at this. I'm 10 pages behind in reading this thread, but what the heck. I've explained this in a previous thread.

Firstly, I doubt he has officially been diagnosed as a narc, but probably should be :) Those of us that have experienced the narcissistic personality recognize the behaviours they exhibit. It's a "cluster" of behaviours. PF employs some of these behaviours. Narcs come in "varieties" if you will. Not all narcs are murderers. Most are not. And, not all murderers are narcs. It depends on the situation they are trying to control, IMHO.

It's often hard to understand the "why", in why lovely people get involved with these deranged misfits if you don't understand the narc. Thye are the devil in disguise, master deceivers, even if they don't kill you. Unfortunately, this is not such a case. I suspect PF "love bombed" KB initially. Attentive, kind, gentle "loving". Difficult to resist such attention and "love". Lots of affection and promises. Narcs move quick, like PF did. Move her down there asap. They like their victims to be isolated from family and friends either by miles or socially. KB was also isolated from coworkers. Regrettably, she got pregnant. I've said before, and I don't like saying it, but baby K will be a comfort for KB's family, but she is likely the reason PF killed her. If there were no baby, there wouldn't be a need to kill her for custody and ultimate control.

All the initial affection takes a while to wear off. The victim begins to see through the cracks, the promises are hollow, as I'm sure KB began to realize, but the victim continues to think they can make it work, somehow. Some victims are empaths. I won't even start on that now because I don't think Kelsey was. But, as time goes on, the victim realizes there is no "knight in shining armour", just armour. Reality sets in. He's no longer on the pedestal she created for him during the love bombing. The mask has dropped and she sees him for what he is, and isn't. The narc feels this slight and he doesn't like it. Rejection. So, they cheat. Find another victim and love bomb them. Back on the pedestal where he needs to be. Same cycle. But now, he's got two on the go, one who adores him and one who sees him for what he is but is hanging on, still trying to make it work. But he doesn't want her anymore, she doesn't stroke his EGO, so he plans his escape. Create some "flying monkeys". Tell others "what she's really like", takes off, has mental health issues, isn't interested in getting married, OR, btw we broke up last New Year's, or was that TG? The lies he is telling others are projecting his own bad character and behaviours onto the victim. PF did this well just before he murdered her, to put himself in a positive light. Self preservation for a narc. You see this in those defending him. They really don't KNOW him.

I could go on, but there is so much info out there if people really want to understand the different narcissistic traits inherent in the disorder, you just need to read on-line or even listen to some Youtube videos by professionals on narcissism. I'm done :)

Yes, 2 months is a long time to plan. However, amateurs are most likely involved. So, once the deed is done. They scramble to dispose of the main evidence. Sadly, KB.

As I sit here and think about it... I am not sure if 2 months is really all that long to try and plan a "perfect" crime. To do it right, you really need to research, but also can't leave a digital trail while doing so. I feel weird thinking like this, but I do think it would probably take me longer than 2 months to plan something

Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if her body were found in the opposite direction. PF’s account has her heading north so the investigation can be derailed. This buys him even more time than he already had... JMO :/

  • #597
If it is her that would be a clever thing to do though. Have her cellphone ping in Idaho and the remains in a different direction completely. Is PF that clever?

We both thought that idea at the same time LOL.

That wouldn’t be clever, as it would mean that she would be found.

I firmly believe that his intention was for her body to never be located.

Time will tell if he is successful.
