I'm a little behind - but this is ridiculous. KK tells BFF/employee in October that 1. P solicited her to murder babymama (KB) and, 2. KK is in fear for her life. BFF/employee tells the R's, but KK never contacted the R's or anyone. KK never went to police.

If you are in fear for your life you Go To Police Now. If Lt Kenda won't listen to you, you ZsaZsa Gabor him across the face and he will merrily put you into his "hotel" which will protect your life. Please.

Agree IBT- international business times. They don't do their own investigating, they piece articles together based on whats out there. I think they made an error or an assumption. Frankly, i believe she is in protective custody because she is not around anywhere. But not arrested, we would have heard.

And then I am thinking, how many people during the course of a day might say about their ex "I want to kill him/her". But it does not happen nor do they mean it.
All the R's had was an employee that said what she said but to their knowledge it could have just been bad words in passing and they had no idea who PF or KB even were. To me it is a tough call and I do not blame the R's at all. The knowledge just was not there.
Now if they had talked directly to KK then maybe things would have been different but the employee was a "friend". We know nothing about how she handles herself or situations. She could have over reacted to things and that is why maybe the R's asked her to ask KK to come talk to them. To see if this was a real deal?
They did end up contacting LE once the pieces started to come together and that this DID happen andf at that point it was all they could do.
I see no reason whatsoever to put any blame on them at all.....JMO

I get the impression the employee came to them verily upset. I have handle informants throughout my career if you are working in law or law enforcement you are generally a curious nature. You would have laid out the person's options clearly.

It sounds to me like the BFF told her employer/boss, so that KK could meet with those R attorneys. The R’s tried to get KK to talk to them, but it never happened. Interesting. Did KK get an attorney elsewhere, and when? I assume she has one now. What a mess.

In retrospect, absolutely they should have.

Would they? I’m not sure what protocol is there. I would hope that notifying the potential victim is standard.

My main point was that it’s by no means a sure thing that these people contacting authorities, would have set off a chain of events that would have prevented this.

Agreed, however… Them not telling anyone absolutely assured that it wouldn’t help. Saying something might have provided a slim chance, but that’s better than no chance JMO
