I'm thinking that they see this is free marketing or advertising? Ughhh, I friggin hope not. What an attention/money grab. I wonder if they received the reward, but KB has to be found first right?

I honestly don’t know. I was referring to something else about them that is public information but is totally unrelated to this case and can’t post here.

Would some drugs if in powdered form leave residue as evidence?
On my local news yesterday we had a Drug sniffing Police dog
reported as having a seizure from finding Ecstasy in an investigation. something to think about.

Sure but you don't need to take out huge chunks of drywall or cupboards as evidence of drugging as cause of death..

If I had an employee being harassed, I would certainly do what I could to help him/her. But this just seems strange and is stirring the pot. So I guess my answer is "no". I would do this if I was them.

One more question: Would you as an attorney, get on national tv and repeat hearsay information that you can't verify? That is what is boggling my mind

I wouldn't do it and I'm not an attorney. You look pretty dumb if it is proven untrue.

In the process of investigation, hundreds of people will be identified and interviewed. Some will become witnesses, and most will be discarded as non-essential. Chances are none will become suspects.
KB was last seen at the Safeway on Highway 24 in Woodland Park. Using daily traffic figures from the November 2015 Woodland Park Traffic Study, an average of 30 vehicles passed just during the three minutes or so that she took to get out of her car and into the store. In the half hour that she may have been there, about 600 vehicles passed by, of which about 200 were local, and 400 were just driving straight through to the east, or straight through to the west.
LE has said that PF was the last person to see her, and the neighbor has pinned that time as a half hour later. So, another 400 vehicles passed through town. If you are followingf the total here, one person in 1,000 vehicles stood the best chance of transporting the phone to Gooding Idaho. LE has already ruled out PF as the phone transporter, so that knocks it down to one person in 999 vehicles. All LE has to do to break this case is identify all 999 vehicles and track down one that was in Gooding three days later.
When the FBI receives a tip, they do what is called a "referal/consult". Either by phone or in person, they do a basic interview of the tipster(s) information, log it, and pass it on to the
How could they possibly identify all of those vehicles?

BBM. I 100% agree. Without blaming them (because of course we don't want to admit our kids'/sibs' issues), I am wondering how much they noticed.

On the other hand, Patrick fed them the information. So everything he said about KB can be safely discounted at this point. Also, KB functioned pretty well, both professionally and as the new mom.

ETA: I don't see KK's vulnerability that could be exploited. She was a popular girl in school (from MSM), a popular woman in her town, a Rodeo Queen, what not. And while we always remember our first love, there is a reason it is "the first" one. She was as spoiled as he was and probably, enabled his delusions.

I am guessing that's why she may have seen through him, long-distance it's difficult to really "know" someone (IMO that's why a lot of narcs do the on-line dating thing). I bet once she got there and had the opportunity to see the real deal in action, she may have begun to pull away, and/or call him out on some stuff. If he is, in fact, a narc, that narc rage may be why she's gone. :-(

Narcs ALWAYS feed people what they want them to hear. The lies are truly astounding, and it's even more astounding that most of them believe their own lies to the point of being truly surprised when they are caught. They lie, and expect others to believe them, even when those lies are unbelievable. Some of the good ones can pass polygraph tests with no problem, because to them, they are not lying.

Many will go to counseling w/an SO and completely pull the wool over the counselor/therapist. It takes a specifically trained individual to fully smoke them out and understand what is happening.

These people are downright scary.

I don't buy this either. Coming forward and speaking as they have they are likely subjecting her to far MORE harassment.

They absolutely are! IMO the BFF is trying to get her "story" and KK's "story" out there in an indirect way.

They (BFF and R's) may have hoped that KK, and BFF, would get some sympathy, but they have clearly made an error in judgement, which is not surprising considering what they are saying they knew and when. They also may not have known that the news station was only going to show bits and pieces of the interview over many days, leaving the watchers and followers seething while waiting for the next clip lol

Very poor judgement IMO

I'm certain she meant "Idaho Branch" :) I once referred to Twin Falls as "Twin Peaks." Gave a few members a chuckle, myself included :)
Lol....as a resident of the real life Twin Peaks, it did give me a chuckle.....and made me think I needed a cup of coffee and some pie.....

KMTV totally got elbowed out by CBS. KMTV's reason for putting out the 3 segments ...one every other day ......was because they are a small station and do thier own editing. Glad CBS got in there! Even though it is heresay, it gives us something new to talk about!

What are the R's after? $$$$$$

The love of which is the root of all evil.

Right now- $$ for the interviews from MSM. Maybe some sort of residuals if this story can be re-sold to other media outlets: Daily Mail, CNN, etc.

But also, How about Book Rights? How about Movie Rights?

How about a feature-length movie: Beautiful young Rodeo queen from an old ranching family falls for handsome rodeo man? Life-long love affair? Introduction of evil new paramour, baby, divorces, the pain of unrequited love driving her to desperate measures? As told by her long-time BFF?

I see $$$ for R's, BFF, KK family, maybe KK herself if she has signed a contract with them. Planning on pleading innocent, getting an aquittal, then there's no impediment to the media /book / film deals.

Blah blah blah. I don't put anything past the R's.

What I don't understand is how any defense lawyer that KK or her family may have hired would allow this storyline out there in public.

How could they possibly identify all of those vehicles?

They could eliminate about 50% by car make, and color. Maybe another 20% by license plate colors from out of state. That leaves 30% of 999 = 299. Not an impossible job

thanks for the info, i had not heard that. so, it's something like KK was here and we did send in video but it was not the video on the segment. so the tv segment was showing a representation only of KK sonic visit [and actual visit may differ]. ?
Thank you for saying this....I knew this, but didn’t know if I was allowed to share it here or not. I’m so glad someone set this record straight.

You are probably right- book deal for friend brokered by lawyer employer.

But could KK"s attorney stop it? And maybe they thought it would generate sympathy or an understanding. Wrongo!

One of my suspicions is that PF chose to solicit KK’s help because she may have had access to dangerous drugs. There are several drugs that can cause death if administered in the right amount. JMHO

And maybe he got her to "offer" the drugs. After all, the R's claim KK stated that he was soliciting HER to perform the murder.

....thinking.

Once I’m a stunning blonde rodeo queen, able to catch the attention of every cowboy at any given rodeo. One catches my fancy, we see each other......I fall madly in love. It’s an unreciprocated love. I move on, marry, have children, cowboy is always in my head. We sneak around, for years.
I keep hoping the two of us are gonna “ride double” thru life. My looks drastically change, I’m no longer viewed as the “hot” cowgirl. Cowboy has turned his horse down a new trail....he wants a “hot” girl. He finds one. She has his baby, omg. She has to go...... if she’s gone, cowboy is mine again. How can I get rid of her? Murder? What if things go wrong? If I/we get caught, then what? Blame him? It’s his fault. It really is. He abandoned me.

Just thinkin.....

I blame the media, can’t stop saying it. Totally their fault for allowing and advertising, teasing even, this BS. Allowing these people to put out there the idea that Kelsey was a “bad mother”, as if she brought on her own murder, and poor KK a helpless victim. Sickening,on the parts of all of them.

I think we've all seen this Lifetime Movie and know the ending.

Not totally impossible...but the phone stuff in ID throws me off in this kind of scenario.

Peppermint Patty, thanks for the like. PF has been roping since at least high school, but his competition is limited to the small mountain rodeos. His mother grew up on a small ranch somewhere between Divide and Denver, but went to high school in Colorado Springs and studied nursing at Memorial Hospital where she has spent most, if not all, of her career. Her husband was from Kansas, but started building a place neat Florissant while serving in the Air Force. They raised their older kids less than two blocks away from her work, and he kept the house when they split. Cattle folk up there don't own land to run them on. They bid on high altitude BLM grazing permits and run a special strain of registered black angus. They graze at 7000 to 9500 feet where there are no fences, The cattlemen take turns acting as 24 hour drovers, like the original 1860's Texas vaquero's. They use cattle dogs extensively, which PF is one of the best at raising and training. His dogs go in the $2500 price range. The beef sale yard is at Divide, then I think it is quick butchered, flash-frozen and air freighted to Japan. The catttle are raised in groups and sold in groups. Individual owners have no say in when they go to market. If KB was truly waiting for PF's cattle market to come back, she was fooling herself. At the very least, her Mom was fooled.
You seem very knowledgeable about the situation Dave. Thank you for your insight and detail. Respectfully, might I ask how you have such detailed knowledge?

And what is it about September that starts this whole ball rolling?

LE is confident enough to charge HIM with the 3 X solicitation charges starting Sept 1.

What was happening then?

Makes for a good defense argument for PF, but if he wasn't involved he would have been very concerned for where KB was and been talking to LE, media etc. I could go on and on..
