Its hard to figure out. I think solicitation is more about trying to get away with the murder so you have an alibi etc. So i think he could do it but it would be better if he didn't.

That being said, why the heck would you solicit your GF? First of all, how is she open to that convo? Is she even capable of doing it? If she gets caught you get caught?

I don't think i believe any of the stories she has put out re her child in danger, she thinks he has killed before etc. Because if i thought someone had killed before , you wouldn't find me in the same state as him.

So all of that and I have no idea what the heck is going on in this case. Lots of ideas that don't make much sense, but I'm not a killer with a disorganized mind.. so the

I think BFF is a smokescreen and probably a fake.

I think KK has been dealing directly with the R's and just avoiding showing up at their office.

There is no reason to add the BFF to the mix, other than to introduce the potential for some misinterpretation or misstatement of what KK is relating to the R's.

There may be other real people who are friends of KK, but they are not participating in this charade, although they may very well be acting on her behalf with the concealment of the phone, the purse or whatever else KK returned with.

well one thing the R's interview might do is stir up the local pot, so to speak. which might be a good thing. this interview could be a catalyst to increased social media discussion that otherwise would have been on the down low, under the radar. the 3rd part of this mini-series is tomorrow and might be the most watched newscast in that area in quite a while. tv station has probably had no issues with selling all ad space within a 2hr window of showtime. it'll be time for popcorn for many i guess. all of this banter just my opinion, folks.

CB spoke to KB twice on 11/22. Then by 11/25 contacts PF asking if he's seen KB, is she with him, because CB has been unable to reach her. PF claims he got a text that very day 11/25 saying KB took a trip. Doss gets a text 11/25. The texts are sent from Gooding by KK who has KB's phone. CB calls WPPD and they tell her that adults are free to go where they want, WPPD will do a welfare check at the residence, check local hospitals. CB thinks, well this is odd, but okay maybe KB went somewhere. KK begins the private/small group FB posts about unstable KB took off, is missing 11/25-26. BFF talks to PR 11/26 and shows her the FB conversation. CB is increasingly concerned as she cannot reach KB, calls WPPD a couple more times, probably called Doss Aviation, finally insists on filing a missing persons report 12/2.

And, why would some chic in Idaho, who would have no known connection to Kelsey (friendship, etc) be creating a private FB group about some girl, Kelsey, whom she did not know?

Hi MassGuy, thanks for the good info. Isn’t it also true that LE has to get a warrant and get deleted texts from the carrier (I.e, ATT, Verizon, etc)? I had always read that can take months. And I guess I was assuming PF deleted any incriminating texts from his phone before giving it to LE, knowing it could take them months to retrieve the info. However, they did say they had thousands of texts right? I am sure they got what they needed.

You're not mixed up. LE said the cell phone pinged in Idaho the same day as the welfare check:

"The same day officers conducted the welfare check, Berreth’s cell phone was pinged near Gooding at 5:13 p.m – over 800 miles from her home in Colorado. Steve Van Dinter, a Verizon spokesman, tells EastIdahoNews.com that the ping would be accurate within a mile of the location coordinates."

I heard about it in my peripheal vision. It was early on but I did not pay much attention. However, I am local so if you are not, it could have been out of your orbit. But I have to ask....what is your point? I for sure heard about it before the news conference and KB being decalred a missing person.

I first heard about before he was arrested because I explicitly remember hearing that "fiancé is cooperating with police." It was definitely some time before I went out for Christmas Break on the 20th of December...so I think it was probably around the 10th, give or take five days.

I must have missed the original version, lol. That part was there when I first read it. But I think it might have been re-worded slightly. I seem to recall it seeming more specific that PR looked at fb on Nov 26th when I saw it. That wording leaves it a bit more vague as to when she saw info about a missing woman on fb, but in context it is still implying PR saw the info Nov 26. Hmmmm...

The original on Fri at 5 pm was just about the seeing missing Colorado woman on a FB post. The updated one Fri approx 8 pm says the employee came to them on Nov 26 and told them, plus a ref to facebook. In the original we debated because where would the FB post be and figured employee told the R's but this confirms it.

Its insane. What does this mean for everyone. They knew she was dead on Nov 26. The R's aren't stupid. Can they be charged with something.

They do need a warrant to get information from a carrier, but what a carrier can actually supply, varies.

I didn’t hear anything about “thousands of texts,” but it appears they have a great deal of evidence against him. I’m sure quite a bit of that is digital in nature.

No vague. BFF told the R's KB was missing on Nov 26, and she thought she saw a FB post.

I don't understand. How can you wait til dec 17 to report a murder. they knew. they are lawyers. They admitted they knew she was missing on nov 26, straight from their employee.

I feel like I'm listening to someone who is high on drugs, psychotic & delusional, or suffering from Alzheimers. It's like word salad and I am unable to comprehend. LE/FBI/CBI must have been reeling with all these lies and confusion.

For me, KK is the center of all this from:
- when she claimed PF solicited her to commit murder in October
- to forget about it
- to going to WP Thanksgiving weekend
- to ending up with KB's phone
- to sending the texts & ping in Gooding
- to playing the victim card
- to putting out that KB is missing back on Nov 26
- to claiming to have contacted LE but did not...

Yes, all of this!! AND, let's not forget KK's lie to M that PF said it was because Kelsey was going to harm baby K, or something to that effect. She speaks with a "forked" tongue! Up until the interview by the R's, I was willing to cut her a wee bit of slack even though I could not reconcile in my mind why she had KB's phone. Not anymore.

Police have been clear all along. The media has sucked. The one and only welfare check request came on 12/2 per LE and was done on that day. Why would her brother have waited until December to go to her home if the welfare check had been on 11/25? It did not happen.

Something must have happened to make it impossible for him to deal with one of her cars. Or perhaps he thought they would think she abducted by aliens. Or that she took a hot air balloon to Idaho to see her grandmother.

perhaps there was another person who was supposed to take KB car [and phone] and do the drive but that person was a no show when it was time to do the deed. so backup plan was then KK had to do phone but could not do the car cause she had her car.
