“Maybe proof of a dark, unspeakable secret was on KB phone, all KK thought she was doing is getting rid of it to keep a secret.”

Yeah. KK’s fingerprints. And KK’s hands were ON that phone.

The dark secret was that she had the phone of a murdered mother of a child. She most likely sent misleading texts from that phone. And she almost certainly had the power to prevent being in that particular scenario.
I wonder what dark secret KB could have known, about PF,and KK if true.
It must be something shocking, that would rock worlds if exposed.
MOO.

Is it ok to paste a snippet from a newspaper article (The Gazette in Colorado Springs)? As quiet as KB was, everyone still loved her.

Authorities have not released what evidence they found that led them to believe she was killed in her Woodland Park townhome. But after searching Frazee’s 35-acre property and Berreth’s townhome, authorities said they no longer believe she is alive.

For those who knew her, it's hard to imagine she's no longer alive.

“She was a sweet girl,” Loucado said.

Friendly and personable, said Lon Rust, who owns Paradise Spirits liquor store in Woodland Park, where Berreth was a customer."She seemed like a fairly stable person," he said.

Berreth was “a very shy person until you actually get to know her,” said Luda Boychuk, a friend from Kennewick, Wash.

“She always kept to herself, until we became friends, and then she was nothing but sweet and the most down-to-earth person ever," Boychuk said on Facebook.

Berreth moved to the townhouse near downtown Woodland Park in May 2018 and didn’t seem to know her neighbors.

Are we going to walk the gray line and risk getting shut down tonight when we could be discussing rivetting info that may come out on MSM from the R's or elsewhere?

Just asking...

Or have this thread shut, if and when something breaks?

Oh, gotcha.

I know it’s so hard

I follow this discussion in several places and have to reel myself back in all the time.

Yes, if involved, those were the two people who knew.

But the two people who allegedly knew were trying to cover up KB's murder with "she left me with the baby and ran off" and the phone ping in Idaho.

There was no public news report or Facebook post prior to that date that stated that KB was "missing". None. Zero. Zip. Zilch. Nada.

Now, if KK admitted to BFF that she had disposed of KB's phone, the Rs could have become aware of that on 11/26. And if that is what happened, they just exposed KK and tainted the case. That's a lot of ifs, and you can believe what you want, but I am going to go with they got the dates mixed up. MOO, JMO, ;):D etc.
I think they got the date right. Tainted the case or not, who knows. But I think KK told her friend KB was missing because she was setting up her own alibi, for lack of a better term. She probably played it to the friend something like, "OMG! Remember how PF asked me to kill his baby mama?! Now she's missing! Isn't that crazy? It's too ironic, I hope he didn't do anything to her!" Now she has washed her hands of it before the finger even poins her direction, and can say later, "Ask my friend, I was beside myself when I found out she was missing." And now she can say PF told her KB was missing, which makes him look guilty because she hadn't been reported missing yet, but he "had to have" told KK for her to know. (Which isn't true, since she also could have been present, and likely took KB's phone on day 1.)

If you go to the clerk and recorders office for the county you can search for marriage certs...
Not in Colorado.

That is why I said it was not likely. It doesn't hurt to check things if horse breeding/ownership is an angle someone is looking into.
They will most likely be Quarter horses and would be listed under AQHA. Because he ropes.

Who was Kelsey Berreth? Quiet life apparently ends in tragedy | Premium | gazette.com

SABBMFAA:

  • In February 2017, Berreth told fellow pilot Kris Ackerman that she was getting married soon.

That would have been right around the time she first got pregnant. Baby K was born Oct 2017. I wonder if perhaps Kelsey refused to sleep with PF until they were engaged so he proposed? Or maybe he promised to marry her when she first got pregnant? Either way, it is gut wrenching that she expected to marry PF and ended up murdered instead. MOO.

I know this is rehashing, but I can't understand why people aren't out there looking for her body. Or search dogs. Or were there...
Is it definite that there is no body. As many noticed, the DA(?) woman dodged that question at the press conference

Maybe there isn't a body, but unless they're certain of that, I think there's a strong likelihood they don't know where to begin searching. The current crime scene spans 800+ miles - from the site of the death to the location of the phone. An argument could be made to search anywhere in between.

If she did meet P on murderersonly.com, & he’s convicted, they should have a warning banner on their site.

Nope, watched the judge give the ruling several times. Defense got the affadivit with the condition it was not revealed until after the decision on Fri Jan 4. Will try and find it. It is a video with the actual judge talking- not reporters.
You are correct. I read in local news (Denver 7) when PF got to see it, that his defense had been given access previous; however, PF had not been allowed access to the physical document.

To put to rest a lot of theories, conspiracies, etc, here is what I know after speaking with a senior law enforcement officer in Idaho tangengtially involved in the case.

1. KK and her lawyer were informed that accessory to 1st degree murder, for which she could be charged, could carry up to life in prison under Federal sentencing guidelines.

2. This could become a Federal case because of the interstate actions of the suspect(s) but that is yet to be determined.

2. KK and her lawyer decided to completely cooperate with law enforcement in return for reduced charges and prison time. Her reduced prison time could still be substantial and she will definitely serve time. She has not been charged because they are truth checking her info and negotiating her charges.

3. From KK and other evidence, law enforcement knows the who, why, how, when, and where of the murder. They do not know where the body is located and may not be able to recover it - that is all my source would say.

4. If this becomes a Federal case, the death penalty for PF becomes more real. Colorado for all practical purposes does not enforce the death penalty on State cases, while the Federal gov't does on Federal cases. A death sentence in CO is essentially life without parole so there is little incentive for PF to plea bargin under leverage to confess if it remains a State case.

That is all I know. I won't reply to any questions or comments. Just wanted to clear up as much of the discussion as possible. It seems the all-source evidence against PF is substantial according to source. Hope this info helps.
Thank you

Tysm. Wish we knew the accuracy of this. Usually, senior LE don’t discuss cases with outsiders.
You won’t take questions, darn!
But, I understand. Not to mention, we would bombard you.
