Part 3: Twin Falls couple discusses tough call to FBI
TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) In our continuing coverage of the Idaho connection to the Kelsey Berreth murder investigation, Joe and Patty Rockstahl are detailing what they knew about Krystal and Patrick Frazee’s relationship.

“From what I can gather,” Patty said. “I believe she really cared for Patrick but, I also think she was afraid.”

Krystal Lee, a longtime friend of Patrick Frazee, headed to Colorado, as recently as November.
According to Patty, the two have known each other a while, even owning horses together.

“She had known him since she was 18 years old, right out of high school,” Patty said. “I think he had some type of hold on her.”

The Rockstahl’s say, on Krystal’s last trip to Colorado, Michelle begged her best friend not to go.

“Because she was worried about Krystal,” Patty said. “She was very concerned that she was going to meet someone that had asked her to murder someone.”

The Rockstahl’s claim their employee said Frazee threatened Lee, and she may have helped him dispose of evidence.

“I think she maybe got in over her head, maybe used some bad judgment,” Patty said. “If I were afraid for myself or for my children, I don’t know what I would do. “

“What would you say to Patrick?” asked reporter Kelsey Souto.

“It wouldn’t be good,” Patty responded.

“What would you say to Kelsey’s mom right now if you could talk to her?” asked Souto.

“I am going to talk to her,” Patty said. “I’m going to tell her she was a brave woman and I hope someday her daughter's remains are returned home to her family.”

And just as we thought our investigation was nearing the end, another source has come forward and agreed to speak with us. We’ll hear from her this week.

BBM Oh dear lord. More people coming to talk. Will this one be KK's elementary teacher's sisters friend who also knows she is a good person?

If they were only going to show no more than 5 minutes total of the interview, why break it up into 3 parts? Stupid.
Is it just me or is the interview having been broken up into 3 segments completely tasteless and tacky. I know they’re in the business to make money and ratings - - yet this is over someone’s death, someone’s daughter, it’s not a story such as Amazon taking over. It is what it is, yet still terrible.

The interview I watched was really short.

The only critical piece that I hadn't heard already today was that BFF tried to oonvince her not to go to Colorado to meet Patrick because she thought the murder was going to happen.

Why would she say that? If BFF did anything that could be perceived as help she could be charged as well since now they are saying she knew why KK was going there that weekend.

This is baffling. They are lawyers, they know better.

Interesting. So if BFF was worried about her friend going to CO, then she knew it was going to happened and that does not go along with waht she told the Rs when they supposedly followed up with BFF later.
*sigh*

Thanks, so the whole 1:22 clip was it lol. Can't wait to see how they drag out the next one.. Maybe we'll get six 30 second pieces.

Poor KK was so afraid she went all the way to CO to see PF after he asked her to kill someone. He must have threatened her in some way to make her go (insert sarcasm).

More horse manuer. What makes this woman think Kelsey's mom would ever want to speak to her? The gall of all these people. Seriously. Michelle what an 'angel' begging her friend not to go. Poor lil Kk scared out of her wits. What the Hell. How bout picking up the phone and calling LE.
What is the big secret that is being buried? What hold does Patrick have on KK?
Why do they own horses together?
All she has done is further implicate this friend by implying she knew exactly what was going to happen. Imo

But I thought the R's came forward because she was being harassed online... these people need to talk to a publicist or a more qualified lawyer before they continue talking to the press. They are doing no one any favors and are not coming off very well. MOO

If that.

I joked that they were going to milk this damn thing until February. I better not be right.

This is ridiculous, in more ways than one.
Right?!

I feel guilty for watching. This news station is not deserving of all of the “clicks” they are getting considering the way they are conducting themselves.

Total ridiculousnous.

My understanding is it was PF who said KB was going to washington to visit family- it may have been the aunt who passed that on , not sure.

There has to be a reason they are keeping secret the text that PF said he got from KB. They said what her employer received.

And yes, i can't imagine the commuication between PF and CB..

I do believe that is what PF told LE or CB directly.

I think the reason to keep it confidential is only the persons who sent the text and received it know what it said. LE doesn't have a copy of the text unless PF kept it. I bet he didn't keep it. I bet the employer did keep it.

ITA, and I do not understand their motivation for doing so.
And, the Rs outted their employee by mentioning her first name in their interview.
