Does that mean that M told the Rs that KK was going to CO before KK left? ...
I'm still giving the Rs the benefit of the doubt, though. Maybe they just thought KK was a sort of 'drama queen'. And the seriousness of it didn't register in their minds as being imminent, especially them being a third party.
I don't think anyone really thinks the Rs believed the murder was imminent and still didn't call. ?

Right. None of these interviews is helping KK in anyway.

The idea that she was terrified is basically negated by her telling BFF- forget about it, is okay. Going to Colorado, years of relationship etc.

Now it is showing her as a willing participant. She chose to go to Colorado knowing he wanted her to kill KB. She had lots of time to think about it. She disclosed it. She could have gone to LE. She chose to do it. Premeditation. She was complicit.

There was no timeline in this interview. So yes, I will give the benefit of the doubt and figure it came out to the R's after the fact. Probably had alot of questions for BFF after that.

Oh ok, so you think the shocking reason is that she had an affair with PF while being married? That doesn't surprise me. I assumed as much. So your theory is maybe he was threatening to tell her husband or ruin her reputation unless she helped him? I can't decide on WHY she helped him although I do think she did so willingly and I do not think she killed KB and is framing KF. That much I feel sure about. JMO.

I don’t often post as I can only pop in here and there but I have been following this case as often as I can. It’s so frustrating that the interviewer doesn’t appear to ask the most basic and obvious questions and nail down an accurate timeline. Also frustrating that this third segment was also so brief and meaningless. But they dedicate some silent thinking time to what Patty would say to PF if she could speak to him. Who cares?
There was another reporter who also interviewed the couple - Nikki Battiste. Maybe CBS reporter? Interview is on CBS website. I wonder if there is more from her interview.
I find it telling that one of the few things Joe R put forward in second segment was (talking about M) “She didn’t go with Krystal anywhere to Colorado or anything, she just listened to her friend. That is clearly just added in to say “don’t blame her”.

I just have this feeling that the station was "handcuffed", so to speak, with this segment. There wasn't anything mind blowing or earth shattering in what was released. I've read it was a 45 minute interview in total. We've seen a fraction of that. I'm thinking LE was NOT impressed with the first segment and stepped in. So, instead of just not going ahead, they went ahead with "nothing" of any consequence and that way the station still gets the revenue from ads they've already sold. JMO

Yes she said MR and MRS R. She was talking earlier about there being a shocking reason that PF had a hold over KK and that if we listen to the interview we will hear it. And since MR and MRS was in capital letters, I thought maybe she was dropping us a hint. LOL Over sleuthing, that's all. My bad.

I’m guessing there was a reason CBS didn’t follow up with further reporting.

Was that verified the- Aunt said ? I don't think WE know where PF and KB relation was at, but WE do know it is ended.

I could be wrong I don't think they can stop these interviews. Fifth amendment. They can stop records from being released, info coming out from court procedures with really good reason. But it would be very hard to stop interviews, if someone wants to talk they can.

It only makes sense to me if PF committed the murder and the very maleable KK was an accessory who agreed to plant the phone data and take some stuff.

Here's my thoughts:

You have to have really close personal knowledge of someone to figure out how best to kill them in a small town like WP. Maybe in NYC you can get someone to kill them on the subway. But teeny tiny Woodland Park: You need to know KB's habits, her routes, her plans. AND you have to keep Baby K safe.

You have to consider where she works: Who is gonna know that better than PF? I mean DOSS isn't going to tell a strange woman on the phone about KB's work schedule.

The ONLY person who would known the details of how to attack her, when, and where was PF. (unless KB and KK texted like besties and I HIGHLY doubt this) It was always his call.

So PF calls the shots. For some *really stupid* reason tries to recruit KK to do damage control. And for a more * stupid reason* she agrees to drive 22 hours that weekend and return the with phone of a murdered woman.

Think about this: KK would have to have left TF Idaho about 1 am Wed, Nov 21 to arrive when KB was at Safeway. When KB was alive.

My surmise is that LE has KK's phone pings all the way along this journey. They know when she bought gas and where. PF may have taken Baby K on T-day, but if KK was involved in murdering KB, it would have to be after the Safeway video, after PF removed Baby K, and without using her own vehicle.

LE surely knows where KK stayed the night of Nov 22, 23, and 24 by her phone pings. And I'll bet it's with PF.

So, KK may not be a First Degree Murder conviction, but she is surely gonna spend the last of her good lookin' years in prison for Accessory Before the Fact and Accessory After the Fact to Murder, and avoiding that is what this ridiculous interview with the R's is all about
