I see maybe ! But cannot imagine breaking up with PF the man I had loved enough to have a child with and talk marriage, and then having wits about me to run to the grocery store . That does not make sense IMO
Yeah, that's why it was confusing, since it was information that came from her aunt. So the general consensus was that it was what PF told her mom, maybe when he told her about the text messages, and the trip to visit a relative. Imo

It feels so 'staged' to me for some reason, and fake.
I agree, but why? Other than publicity for their business, what is their (the Rs) stake in all of this? Such a strange situation. I can't seem to wrap my head around it.

I could be wrong I don't think they can stop these interviews. Fifth amendment. They can stop records from being released, info coming out from court procedures with really good reason. But it would be very hard to stop interviews, if someone wants to talk they can.
I understand the R's can talk all they like, it is their right, but is it responsible for a news station to release info that may jeopardize an active murder investigation that may taint a jury pool and that may actually be releasing information that LE know to be false?? The R's narrative is KK's narrative and by all means suspect given her involvement, whatever it is. Would seem irresponsible to me anyway.

The station will not run an interview if LE requests they don't run it. LE also may have asked to see the interview ahead of time or the station may have offered it beforehand and edited out whatever LE asked them to edit. JMO

FYI the state of Idaho has an excellent statewide database of all court cases. If someone got a speeding ticket 20 years ago, it's in their database. Cases involving children, like custody, show under the adult names but may be sealed showing a red X. New website doesn't work with smartphones, but if you have a laptop, all you need is a name.

Yes she said MR and MRS R. She was talking earlier about there being a shocking reason that PF had a hold over KK and that if we listen to the interview we will hear it. And since MR and MRS was in capital letters, I thought maybe she was dropping us a hint. LOL Over sleuthing, that's all. My bad. :)

Well some of us were speculating earlier about a secret marriage between them so that KK wouldn't be able to testify against PF. But I don't think that happened. PF is too arrogant and not that smart to think of that IMO. And I can't understand why that would be a "dark secret" that could be held over someone's head to get them to help cover up a murder. MOO.

AofA- are you implying that one of KKs could be PFs and he was threatening to expose this as a way to get her to do his bidding?
No, I'm thinking KB found out. That plus jealousy could be a big motive.
Think about it. If it was discovered.

So much we don’t know I’m guessing. WPPD did say it was a very complicated case in initial pressers I believe.

Blackmail as KK’s motive for helping him doesn’t add up. Him asking her to help him murder/cover up murder is already a bigger piece of information than pretty much anything he could have on her.

I am now wondering just how much more these people really know. I find this part very interesting. Why call it "remains" and not a "body" returned? Do they know more and are just not saying?

“I’m going to tell her she was a brave woman and I hope someday her daughter's remains are returned home to her family.”"

Part 3: Twin Falls couple discusses tough call to FBI

This is a GASP moment

For whatever happened, the family does not anticipate receiving the intact body of KB.

Whatever LE found, her family acknowledges that they will not receive her body intact, as if she was sleeping when she died.

They can't have an open casket funeral. They are deprived 0f mourning her as most people do.

I am so desperately sad to read this

But I don't understand why they are doing it. Wouldn't they be of the opinion that it is not a good idea to talk about the details of a crime while there is an active investigation? I would assume they would think it might be damaging to the case. What could their purpose be? All this to protect themselves? The friend? KK? It seems all they have done is implicate them even more.
Wouldn't they realize that?

MOO My perception is they are not just defending their late response in calling LE, but also their employee’s innocence as far as any involvement.

I once researched a girl who disappeared from a street corner in Los Angeles in 1953. Her family in Nebraska never gave up looking for her. In 2014 the missing girl was an old lady, dying in a cancer ward of a hospital near Boston. She asked her BFF to be sure to put her parents full names and her exact place of birth in her obituary; which surprised the BFF because she had always been told her friend was an orphan from birth. Nevertheless, she did, and it took exactly 48 holurs for the first family member to hear the news she had been found. The family asked me to find out why she disappeared and how she did it. I reported back to them on the how first. At age 18 she had no money, but she took off walking toward the bus station, begging people's spare change along the way. By the time she got there, she had the money to cover a "nationwide 30 day unlimited bus pass" and had enough left in pocket to pay for meals. She got on in Los Angeles and got off in Boston. She had no money, no clothes except the ones one her back and no id, but she had given herself a new name and checked into a women's shelter where they got her back on her feet and into a secretarial school. Her application for a Social Security card was brilliant! Not one word of it was true, but it had sincerity written all over. She got a job in engineering, eventually married an engineer, and partnered with him to open their own business. They prospered. She never had chiklren, but she mothered the BFF's kids so much that, one by one, they wrote to me and asked me not to reveal anyting that would hurt her. The only sad part was telling the family the why. At age 18, she just didn't like the way her life was going and didn't think she could change it with her parents and several older sisters helicoptering. She apparently felt that the only way she could do it was alone. The only way I could think to explain it was "suicide by disappearance". Cases like it are very rare, but it does happen.
Well, it seems that if she had no money in LA at 18, she was right in being not happy with the way her life was going. Kudos to her for being able to escape and create a successful life. It is sad because her family was worrying about her, but what the story also tells me is that at 18, she was not attached her family at all. When a child grows up not loving the parents, it is more of the parents’ fault.

It's a question. I was replying to someone else's query about what happens when people have affairs, or could happen. I'm not suggesting anything. It was a question. That's all. If I need to remove the post, please let me know.

I know. ;) I was being lazy and replied to your comment asking AgeofAquarius if that’s what they meant. Sorry for making it confusing!

Hopefully, I pray, it's not even true.

SABBMFAA:

And just as we thought our investigation was nearing the end, another source has come forward and agreed to speak with us. We’ll hear from her this week.

Could happen, but probably, not. Per KK, he was threatening her kid. And also - sorry, she did not love her kids, to put them through this. I assume she would have been more protective of PF’s child. In the big scheme of events, it does not explain the murder.

Thanks, but I deleted the original post and my reply to you as I don't want to even hint at anything that will cause problems on the thread.
