oh i agree there are cases where what you suggest does happen. but in your scenario what happens when there is a rather large piece of evidence? the fbi agent "hands it to the pilot"? does the pilot, then using a hand truck or forklift, then move the piece to the cockpit? so you are saying that in all cases of evidence transfer the only method the fbi uses is the one you describe? handing to the pilot?
LOL. You deserve a ribbon. All our brains are just worn out by this case. Of course, what you are saying, what if it is the car or truck or horse trailer KK or any Idaho connection drove... they cannot exactly ship it USPS, and it may have "sensitive" evidence that KB or her property was inside. I feel like slapping my forehead with a wet noodle. Thank you.

I've been reading since this thread started and I believe we are all going to be shocked when we know what really happened. I have seen that a lot of people see this as a simple motive, but I really don't think it will be what everyone expects.

She could have had the entire 4-day Thanksgiving Holiday off.

Most pre-op RN’s work M-F, with call allocated on weekend and holidays for emergencies by schedule. So, it’s entirely possible the hospital was closed for regular surgeries on Friday and the days 11/22 - 11/25 were entirely covered by call personnel. KK would not have to have asked for time off or have been conspicuous by her absence.

I wonder if this factored into PF’s decision to murder KB and dispose of evidence over this 4-day time frame that would not be apparent to others.

Do we know if she worked in the hospital or at an offsite same day surgery clinic?

I agree about the possibility of her having a long weekend to take advantage of. Same with KB. She wasn’t expected into work the next day so no red flags until Monday as far as employment. That would give them extra time to clean up the crime scene and tie up any loose ends if needed. It would appear to me at least that this was preplanned for Thanksgiving for those reasons. IMO

I doubt KK flew to CO. It would be too easy for LE to track her flight. I think she was sneaky and perhaps borrowed a friend's car to travel incognito. moo

I don't think it should be ruled out, Pommy. IMO flying would have made it much easier for KK...to send the texts and dispose of the phone. Driving 12 hours then swinging up to Gooding seems like a very long day. Perhaps she turned the phone on, over Gooding, as plane was circling for landing. Then turned it back off once messages were sent. I have read that cell phones will try to connect with nearest cell tower as you fly if you do leave it off airplane mode. Then she could have disposed of phone anywhere after landing. This is all just me conjecturing. I know it is required to put phone in airplane mode or turn it off while flying but i imagine some people forget or willfully ignore the rule. Or if plane had wifi on board a quick on/off of KB phone to dend the pre-loaded messages might have worked as well. Only problem is I dont know the flight trajectories denver to twin falls (if plane actually goes over Gooding area in preparation to land). LE might be keeping passenger lists to themselves. IMO.
Just some thoughts. MOOMOOMOO.
What if the phone person was a pilot? Out in the middle of a vast expanse of empty land in Blaine County, Idaho called Camas Prairie is Magic Resort Airport, a 4000 ft long by 100 ft wide turf landing strip, without lights and without navigational aids. It does have radio contact on standard frequencies and tie downs for small planes. There is an FAA warning about proper takeoff procedure for wind conditions, which would seem pretty standard on a lakefront airfield. The FAA also warns that there is NOT line of sight between ends of the main strip, meaning that it is slightly higher in elevation in the middle than at the ends. Several reviewers on Campendium.com tested 5 bars LTE on Verizon at random times, and it cannot connect with any tower other than Gooding. As basic as it is, this strip is actually the airport serving Hailey (Sun Valley). The owners have a home in Boise, and are ardent fans of the Boise State Broncos, who played the Utah State Aggies in Albertson’s Stadium, Boise on November 24th, winning 33-24.
IMO

Sneaky. And a confiscated car would be difficult to ship from Idaho to CBI for forensic analysis without contamination. Next time I see a vehicle wrapped in plastic on a flatbed I am going to know why.

I agree 100% that they should talk, talk & talk more. Just NOT to the public. Their "tales" only need to be heard by LE. Their revelations to the media only added to the incredible pain KB's family is living through and without every word being investigated for truthfulness KK's, BFF and the R's it doesn't belong "out there." It's unnecessary. Their "hearsay" from BFF is suspect as KK may have had a dubious motive, like spinning something that would make her "look" less involved, when in fact she's probably neck deep in horse manure. Thankfully, her attempt at swaying the favour of public opinion in her direction failed miserably. MOO
edit:clarify and make sense :)

I realize it's upsetting for Kelsey's family to hear their spew (look at what Kelsey's brother said about them) but what they're really upset about is Kelsey being missing and presumed dead. The reason I think it's good that people like the Rs keep talking is because the more someone talks, you might get different versions of the story and new information might slip out, or an important contradiction may arise causing further investigation into certain alleged facts. I also think that what someone might say to LE could differ with what they'll say in another setting. Also, interviews and interrogations with LE are not going to be made public (at this stage) so speaking publicly could cause some other local to recall something significant (and, I think, the Rs even said that).

There's no good way for a family to learn details about the murder of a loved one but it's important they come out, one way or another.

All we know, from anyone at this point, is that she is an RN for St Lukes and is on leave. St Lukes is in every major city in southern Idaho, and has branch clinics in almost every little town. Operating room nurse could be everything from the nurse that sets your IV before surgery to the one that inserts and guides the stents up your arteries to near your heart for the interventional cardiologist.

You mean like BFF’s vehicle?

I would have expected a bomshell like that to come out in the R’s “interviews”

The latter would be a cardiac cath RN, not a pre-op RN. Different set of competencies

Post 6 from page 1:

"Admin Note:

At this time, the only person charged in this case is PF.

Do NOT sleuth the Idaho nurse (IN, KK, KL) who has not been charged with anything at this point in time. You may link to MSM and discuss what is said in MSM about her, but no sleuthing and posting about it here. Obviously we do not have all details, so do not make accusations against her until/unless LE advises that her status in the investigation has changed.

I wonder if the cleanup was done Thanksgiving. Or if the neighbors saw his truck back that week...
I know. Another unknown.

Darn it! We need more details! The lack of info is causing arguing and dissent. Do you think the judge would unseal records for the sake of unity on this site? :p

I just wish they'd announce something already. Are they going to charge KK or not? Is it typical for them to wait this long to file charges against someone and what could the hold up be?

  • #399
KK does not have a pilot's license or a plane.

I think the OP means commercial flight. That’d be risky. Plus, she would have to rent a car, to go thru Sonic.

Thank you!

I'm not sure that I have a theory at this time because everything is so hush hush. I really don't even understand that, because why would someone that has information about this case need protection? PF is in jail, KK is being watched like a hawk, and at this point they really should know of everyone who was involved (provided that KK is talking to try to secure a deal or to prove innocence). I'm waiting for the hat to drop just like everyone else. But MOO I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the R's know more than what they are telling us, and are trying to secure M's future. I believe M may have more in this than a conversation with KK, which I think has been mentioned already.

In the meantime, I will impatiently wait...
