A lot of good questions! First, I think KK got interviewed by the FBI, possibly at work, and surrendered her phone. I suspect that co-workers witnessed it, and called Mrs. R. I don't believe that she has been arrested at this time. I DO believe that whenever a dramatic story starts jumping from state to state, the press goes into a frenzy. They don't seem to be even capable of querying "Really, are you sure?"
Finally. the case is just past the infancy of investigation on this date, and barely pulling itself across the flo0r on it's elbows. It has yet to toddle, and a long ways before it has full legs.
Great review. Yours is interesting reading. That’s for sure.

Wasn’t it said somewhere by someone that the nurses KK worked with all gave witness to the fact that KK told everyone that she and PF were a couple, involved romantically? So, why would they call Mrs R? Maybe M is a nurse?

You think the press is going into a frenzy? How about us? I know nothing about the law, or murder, or PF but I sure like a good mystery.

The 4 - day Thanksgiving weekend would be ideal because neither PF nor KK would have to answer to associates about missing any work.

Which sends me back to solicitatin and murder charges for him, and conspiracy to commit and accessory BEFORE and AFTER the fact for her.

Both are going to prison for all the good rodeo-in’ years left for either of them.

If they planned ahead, KK likely requested a long weekend. Be interesting to know, did she put in a written request with “travel” as her reason? Perhaps, as previously mentioned, she doesn’t work weekends, idk.
In the past, I had an employee that demanded we do written requests for time off. Every holiday, of course, we all wanted off. He would review reasons, etc., determine if we had the previous holiday off, try to play fair.

It doesn’t matter if he had help or not, atleast in regards to his particular situation.

Even if someone helped him with this, he’s still looking at murder 1.

Exactly what I have been trying to say. He is facing jail, why protect someone else? If I was in his shoes, I'd sing like a canary. It's not like I'd be going anywhere anytime soon.

Unless.... (this may be way out there) he had an accomplice and now that KK is talking, if she gets off, he could solicit her murd
Oh I don’t think he’s not talking to only protect someone else....his priority is himself and he wouldn’t do anything to incriminate himself or take responsibility for his actions. IMO I’m just suggesting perhaps this was discussed and agreed upon in the planning stages. No one talks, period. Then KK folded when confronted by LE.

If that is the case, I could see KK in big trouble if she is trying to strike a deal and there is another party involved.

I think the law prevails, no matter how well acquainted with him his legal team might be. Jmo
Yeah well, think OJ Simpson. Think Casey Anthony. The good guys don’t always win.

The good guys aren’t always good guys.

Yeah. What I’m saying is that he’s not trying to protect anyone else, he’s just trying to protect himself.

If he says that someone else is involved, it could absolutely prove to be the final nail in his coffin.

The less that law enforcement knows, the better chance he stands at trial.

Unfortunately for him, LE appears to be way ahead of him.

Everyone I have seen so far is from Colorado Springs, including the judges. The metro area of the Springs is well over 550,000 population. Woodland Park is considered a suburban area of C.S., while Cripple Creek, where the courthouse is, is not. Divide, where the jail is, is not. Florissant is beyond Divide, well after the turnoff to Cripple Creek. It certainly is not. If it does actually go to trial, the defendant and 7 or 8 of the jurors may be the only rural folk in the room.
IMO
His brother is LE in Co Springs.

My granddaughter is an RN. They work 12 hour shifts in most hospitals. Three days on, four days off. Maybe this was KKs four day off period. It worked out that way for my granddaughter and then she worked Christmas.

That is true. Talking or not, it seems like the evidence is going to speak volumes for itself.

Yea, either way, it appears she had Saturday off, for sure (per Sonic). Every nurse I know works the 12s, too, except one. Unless employed in private practice.

If KK had any involvement, a lot of things had to factor in regarding schedules.
Not only did KK need to be free for the chosen date, someone had to have knowledge that KB would be home, not away for the weekend. They had to know way in advance, to firm plans up, imo. At least a few weeks, maybe?

So.....do you think PF was arrested too soon?

My point is that the Pre-Op RN work schedule would normally have Thursday Nov 22 through Sunday Nov 25 off and she would NOT have to ask for any time off at all.

Only a few RN’s who take call would have to schedule weekends and holidays off and Pre-Op RN is not a category that normally takes call.

I enjoyed the break from swirling, twirling, contradictory theories - the kind of stuff we get into when there are no facts to chew on
We still don’t have facts. I think contradictory theories is good.

Getting mad at each other....not good.

No. I think once LE develops probable cause, they should arrest the suspect. Do I think probable cause is proof? Probably not.

I understand. The only pre-Op nurse I know works 2-18s, weekends only, to handle emergency situations.

I have an email in to local Pre-Op RN’S who work both in an Acute Care hospital and Surgery Center. and will advise on their schedules.

Oh, I believe you but idk the schedule for the hospital that employs KK.
Heck, she might have been hired M-W, to have weekends free to rodeo/travel.
