Yes. Hence the robbery charge.
There was no robbery charge. There is a felony murder charge with an implication that the qualifying felony was robbery or attempted robbery, but he has not been charged with robbery nor with attempted robbery.

BBM: NCteach, nail, meet head. IMO, I think you're bang on. Add to that, as all of who've played the telephone game know, there's always that one kid in the group who deliberately changes the message to sabotage the end result. Somebody intentionally messed with the messaging here, IMO.

I strongly suspect that person was KK.

One could call a young woman of 5'3" and 110 lbs a "little girl".

I did. From the porch interview onward. Although, I never came on WS for that case. I followed it though, from start to finish.

CW was smiling through all his interviews (so perverse). With PF, he did not want to be interviewed. Totally, understand not wanting to be misunderstood on television but really think about how you would act if the mother of your child was unaccounted for on Thanksgiving. You would just be doing all you could to get them home.

I'm surprised there aren't any seriously good crime reporters, who cover these stories in a way like City Confidential did their shows or how Dominic Dunne did,in real time, where you get the all of the local background and color on a case, with who thinks what, who says what, etc. I can very much see how something like the rodeo & ranch community might circle the wagons to defend and even protect someone who's one of them. They think they know him. They didn't know Kelsey. They're going to give him the benefit of doubt. Just from a psychological standpoint, I find that interesting and would love some on the ground reporting from places like the local coffee shop or greasy spoon.

There’s so many missing women, at the moment. This case gets very little national coverage. Nothing like CW case.
I’d like to see a reporter perfectly poised, pen in hand, at the next rodeo in ID or Co.
Ever notice how many cases like this end up with another woman in the picture?
Moo

Hmmmm... yes, yes you absolutely could. And I could see someone, during the act of feigning fear, twisting that into an entirely different meaning to serve her interests.

What makes you think P lacks ambition?
IMO, he would have daily chores, be required to work his dogs & condition any horses he might intend to use in upcoming events. Roping “sharp” requires discipline from horse & rider, he would need to devote several hours a week to practice sessions, imo. Then, his farrier work, which is very physical. Jmo
The horses & dogs I’ve seen advertised by P were “pricey”. He must have a good reputation to continue breeding & sell his stock. $2500 + per dog tells me he has some of the best.
Again, jmo

Like I said, I'm not saying the man didn't ever work, I said I don't see him as being someone at the top of his game or earning potential. JMO. He comes across as not very smart and a little lazy to me. I'm not from Colorado, not into the rodeo scene or have any inside information from social media so that's just my perception of him. I don't think KB was killed for money anyway, but I certainly think he was the instigator of this crime with help from KK and I wouldn't be surprised at there being a third person.

Glad to see there was *some* progress today in this case. I literally cannot keep my eyes open so I'm figuratively going to hit the sack. Good night all!

I meant people who knew him. That girlfriend (Nichole?) who got the cop over to the house, Shanann's mother, Nikki the chic on the side and the next door neighbor. There may be people around PF who suspect him but are reluctant to speak out due to the atmosphere in the community.

I know this much: if my across the street neighbor got accused of murder I would not believe it and would defend him. Why? Because all of my interactions with him for the last 14 years have been extremely positive and I like him, a lot. I'm pretty sure that's how a lot of folks who know PF feel. It's not weird, imo. They won't believe it until they're shown undeniable proof.

There are people in his hometown defending him and saying he is innocent.
It’s a possibility that he is IMO. There is so little information released so far. Too soon to rule that out completely I think. Hopefully LE is doing a better job on this than the reporters! Lol

One thing that bothers me about the dump search, did LE get false info/lead? Did someone questioned maybevsay “hum, Iirc, P mentioned a dump in El Paso county”, or maybe an anon’ phone tip was received. I hope not. Just thinking. Hope no one is laughing about LE gearing up for a search.
I think if more than one is involved in any crime, there’s a “”what to tell the cops” discussion , prior to the act. Moo

Twin Falls TV News promised last Sunday night: "And just as we thought our investigation was nearing the end, another source has come forward and agreed to speak with us. We’ll hear from her this week."
It's Thursday night, already. I'm thinking "this week" has almost slipped by.
I was so looking forward to another somebody done somebody wrong song.
IMO

That TV station is a sloppy operation.

I can also see a “not so little”, jealous, love sick woman referencing a petite woman as a “little girl”.

False leads have to be factored in, you'd think, to avoid wild goose chases - especially any as involved as a searching a landfill.

I wasn’t trying to be disagreeable. What if KK knew about KB all along and KB just recently found out about KK and maybe threatened KK with some kind of information? And what if PF lost his temper because he didn’t want the truth to be known and he started plotting her murder months ago? Then he began solicitation in earnest on September 1st?
As for KK needing protection from the law, if LE wants to lock her up they know where she is.

There has to be a connection between asking KL to committ a homicide after a recent home purchase by KB. KB with their child would not have seem such a threat until moving fifteen miles away from PF. To me, this was the trigger. I think sociopathy was the cause but the trigger was the move that 1) made the relationship more serious and 2) made PF have defined adult cemented roles and clear expectations.

I read - and who knows if it's true - that after they met, online, he helped her move to Colorado.
