If he had 3 months (and likely even longer!) to think about, plan and solicit Kelsy’s murder, you would think he would give the disposal of the body a lot of thought. It can be the hardest part of the event.

what I do not understand about this case:

1. Assuming you are PF, how can you have intense hatred for KB but still have love and concern for little K? And since we have been talking about looks, little K, KB and CB all
look strikingly similar, so there is a great chance that as she grows older, little K would just look and maybe even sound and act more and more like KB and CB. I totally understand that there are people who hate their "baby's parent" and not the baby, but in this case I think the disconnect needed here is a big one.

2. Why does PF want little K? If he really wants to be "free," why does he want a baby? I think it is common that actual kidnappers abandon children because they require a lot of time and attention. Granted he apparently has help at home, but why does he want the baby?

3. Even though KB seemed to be self sufficient and independent, not so long ago she was 7,8,9, mos pregnant. Who drove her to drs' appts? Who drove her and the baby to follow up appts? Who helped her in the first few months after she gave birth? If it was PF, then he must have felt or acted as if he felt concerned for her and her welfare. Or was he never this solicitous? Did she go home to her parents during this time?

Do not understand the motives here really. Read posts on and on but I do not get it.
Welcome to WS @acutename ! :)

Off topic, but I envision you sitting down to create your WS profile, and having seen member user names
like PommyMommy etc., thinking to yourself, “What name can I choose? I need a cute name...need a cute name. Aha! Got it!”

Cracks me up! :p

I just want to clarify that solicitation does not need conviction of any underlying felony. It stands alone. If KB had gone to the cops the first time and LE had arrested PF before any murder took place, he could and would still be charged with solicitation to commit first degree murder.

I am glad that you addressed that.

Thanks for clarifying, rio. If I'm understanding you correctly, what you're saying is the DA's office could have kept their powder dry r/t the Murder 1 charge if they felt like they didn't have enough proof that she's dead, and just brought the solicitation charges against him, is that right?

Without her body, they must have a lot of corroborative evidence that she is in fact dead, then.

JMO.

Oliver Cromwell would be proud of you.

Where is a ‘smarter’ location to dump or bury a dead partner? Public land, where you risk the individual being found, but maybe they won’t be able to prove it is tied to you? Or on private land that maybe you or someone you know owns, where the body has a better chance of not being found, but if they do, it is likely it will be more directly tied to you? How does the person who did this think??

How does the person who did this think?

Honestly? IMO, as stupidly as possible...and I mean that sincerely. This is PF we're talking about.

So, in lieu of a thinking cap, you'd put on your dunce cap and think....and think....and...

Hey! Here's an idea! How about if maybe you round up a couple of buddies and haul some trash bags out to a waste management facility. Where they have cameras. And people observing you dump the said trash bags.

Yeah. Brilliant plan!

That's how the person who did this thinks.

JMO.

That's an intriguing thought.

PF hates women. IMO.

He is dependent on women. IMO.

That could prove a lethal combination.

Yeah, for the women!

For someone rational.

However, I think the hardest part would be the murder.

Thankdog the authorities were called immediately and they were able to go through all that was dumped. Can you imagine, having the cojones to dump a body in plain sight?

Gotta add: WHAT if he WAS just testing the waters that day? Hmmm, can I go to the dump without drama? ..... Nope.

I was blown away that he had the cojones to (allegedly) ask someone to help.

I think it was Dave F who said it could take two weeks to search the landfill. IF they have a solid lead. Anyone familiar with the Jennifer Blagg case in Colorado? She was found at the two week mark.
Different case:
How searchers found Jennifer Blagg’s body in the Mesa County landfill
Hoping KB is nowhere near the Fountain landfill. It’s about half-way between her home and work.

And while he no longer wanted Kelsey, he wanted that baby and so does his mother... Ma would be happy raising baby K, with PF's sister helping and PF keeps on living the bachelor life... I don't think it had anything to do with his wanting to be with KKL. He would have just used her to accomplish what he wanted done.

If true, this absolutely gives me chills. I’m sorry if it’s not allowed.

MOO

For someone rational.

However, I think the hardest part would be the murder.

As a person with a conscience, and as a person of faith who believes in the intrinsic value and sanctity of human life, I completely agree with you.

I don't think PF was bothered with matters of conscience or morality in the same way that you or I would be, Mercedes.

So, for him, of course, the hardest part would be whatever required the most thought.

Or, in his case, "thought."

I would say that PF's cajones are clearly much bigger than his brain, but I'm concerned that he'd take that as a compliment.

If someone has the "cojones" to murder another person, to plot and murder the mother of your baby daughter, the rest would be seamless. IMO

My gut instinct from the start has been that PF's motive is related in some way to money.
My gut may be completely wrong, of course.
There's no telling with PF.

Maybe he didn't need any reason other than being an evil creep.

Whatever his motive, it's a safe bet that it's not going to make any sense whatsoever.
I’m still in the camp of he wanted the baby for his mom; I’m sure she’d gotten very attached to baby girl. I think there was likley pressure from kB’s religious family for her to marry her baby daddy that she’d left her life and family for, and when he decided he didn’t like kB anymore for whatever reason, and found that she wouldn’t leave him or the area, he made “it” happen. jmo.

Someone asked recently about the year/model of PF's truck.
Just checked my notes as I asked this way back and someone
answered- 2008 Toyota Tacoma.
yup. me. thanks for the info. a quick search of the internet did not show a navigation system as an option. i will look around some more.

Here is the MSM link for the video that I posted above. It is from the news station KRDO.
Missing Woodland Park mother requested time off work

I don't want to belabor this parking issue. It became like
the endless discussion of what KB could have bought at the liquor store.

According to the neighbor, there were other parking places available for PF to park hs truck on Thanksgiving and that there was another car parked next to hers. Was that the killer(s) car or rental car?

IMO MOO
I’m pretty sure KB had two cars of her own...

You may very well be right. Hopefully, we'll find out what PF's motive was at trial.

One thing I will say: I'd rather take up permanent residence at 112 Ocean Ave., Amityville, NY, than to spend one single night under the roof of the F's ranchette.

Somethin' ain't right there, IMO.

There's a reason the court placed Baby K with KB's parents vs. with PF's mother at the ranchette.
