Do you all feel that KK and PF had a plan that they are still following through on and strategized how they both get away with it or do you feel the plan unraveled?
Oh!!!!! Is that what was meant? In that case, no. Those are two different things. The charges is tampering with evidence. Not tampering with a product in order to kill someone.
They did not charge PF with first degree murder based solely on the word of a woman who may have been involved.BBM. I totally agree with you. It's going to be difficult, especially if they don't find KB's remains.

AgreedThey did not charge PF with first degree murder based solely on the word of a woman who may have been involved.
That is not how it works.
This idea that their case will be difficult, based on the lack of credibility of a star witness, is contingent upon a complete lack of other evidence.
That is flawed logic.
They don’t say that a person is dead, and she was murdered in her home, based on the word of another person.
Especially without a body.
I think they have blood evidence, digital records, and surveillance footage that will bury him.
Just because we haven’t seen their hand, does not mean it is not strong. We’ll see it soon enough.
What proof is there that KB died on Thanksgiving? For all we know she might not have been in Colorado on Thanksgiving. She could have decided to go the next day (after she and PF had their own family's Thanksgivings). Not trying to help her out, but maybe that's why LE gave her such a low charge...
?
They're playing PF's game well.Broken record alert: LE and justice system have been amazing in this case so far. No complaints. We don’t even know what they’re going to say yet
I don't think a civil lawsuit would do anything to risk her nursing license, but I;m not sure. The code states "crimes of moral turpitude". IIRC. But we have some very knowledgeable nurses on here, I think @Mom24 is one who can maybe answer that?
But one thing a civil lawsuit can accomplish is making her actions more well known and also, if there's a judgment and she actually retains or gets back her nursing license, the family can garnish her wages.
Other possible witness/es (besides kk) could be the guys at the dump, or someone he spent Thanksgiving with. They might not want to implicate PF, yet not be willing to lie for him. I guess we'll stay tuned. That's what it sounded like to me - that PF had a plan to kill KB and stage the scene to make it look like a robbery.
Another long shot possibility: PF asked KK to help him kill KB. She was reluctant to particpate in the actual murder but was willing to help in the cover-up. Unbeknownst to her, he set her up - jealous lover killing the mother of his child.
He finds a reason for her to come to Colorado during Thanksgiving. That always bothered me - she's got two younger kids and she seems to be very much a family person - involved in her kids' school activities, for example. This doesn't sound to me like someone who would leave her kids and family for a solo road trip over Thanksgiving. He suggests she swing by Sonic and pick up some food for them - knowing she's likely to be captured on some camera. Makes up an excuse for her to get rid of the phone 30 minutes from her home in Idaho.
I'd really like to know what SF thought of KK and if PF took her out to the ranchette to see SF when she was in Colorado over Thanksgiving weekend.
I echo this x 100!How many opportunities did she pass up before KB death that would have saved her life. How many opportunities to seek protection and justice did she pass up during her time in Colorado and her hundreds of miles trip back to Idaho; past local police departments, county police departments, state police departments?
In the end, she deserves the same consideration and compassion she gave to KB. I hope the prosecutors find a way to give that to her. There was/is no credible excuse.
I think she took the phone from him and tossed it. JMO
If things appear when she is questioned to turn it around in any sense, can the plea deal be nullified and turned to murder? Say for example, after PF testifies and it could be proven she was involved in KB's death can KKL then be tried on murder or this plea deal wipes that possibility out? What do you mean?
I believe their plan unraveled.Do you all feel that KK and PF had a plan that they are still following through on and strategized how they both get away with it or do you feel the plan unraveled?
I believe the judge will make that decision on 2-19Will documents be unsealed on Friday?
We still don't know what LE found to conclude KB was murdered in her home or why LE is now saying it may have been a robbery and others also involved.Do you all feel that KK and PF had a plan that they are still following through on and strategized how they both get away with it or do you feel the plan unraveled?
This is the date the Teller County police gave. No time of day was given. What proof is there that KB died on Thanksgiving?
Yeah, the charging document says “on or about November 22.”This is the date the Teller County police gave. No time of day was given.
